The netting was also smashed to pieces—

More ravens crashed into the sails, flapping their wings and falling down. The deck quickly became littered with ravens, almost making it difficult for anyone to find a place to stand. Some ravens hit the deck like stones, producing a loud bang, and turned into scatters of black feathers and blood stains.

"What the hell is this!?"

Fang Hong heard Parker screaming from below the deck.

The wind detector of the Seven Seas Traveler could only detect creatures with wind ether, and ordinary birds weren't included. However, this didn't seem like migration, and besides, ravens aren't migratory birds.

Is something driving them?

Fang Hong didn't have time to think more, rushed forward to grab Luo Hao on the ground, and dragged him towards the cabin door. But almost dislocated his shoulder, Fang Hong nearly fell to the ground, inwardly complaining:

"This military fatty is getting heavier!"

"I'm wearing double layers of chainmail inside." Luo Hao said a bit embarrassed.

"Are you crazy wearing armor on the ship?"

"An Iron Defender always sleeps with armor on, ready for battle. That's basic discipline."

"Oh, give me a break."

Despite their banter, Fang Hong still managed to drag Luo Hao back into the cabin and shut the door with a 'bang'. Immediately, several dull thuds came from behind, and the cabin door shook heavily, because several more ravens crashed into it.

Fang Hong pressed a hand against the door, locked it, and took a long breath. Luo Hao got up from the floor, walked down the stairs, went to the porthole in the storage room, pressed his hand against it, looked outside, and gasped:

"Look outside."

From Fang Hong's angle, he could already see the view outside several portholes.

More and more groups of ravens were rising from Charter City's direction, like several black, dense clouds rising from the ground.

Months ago, Nikopolas' dragon flame turned this place to ashes, leaving countless animal corpses in the scorched forests. For humans, it was an apocalyptic scene, but for ravens, it was an unrestrained feast.

At this moment, it was unknown how many of their kind had gathered in the area; just a glance at the countless black dots told the story.

The commotion in the sky obviously caught the attention of people on the ground, forming several streams of people heading towards Charter City. Only a few small shadows were left on the vast land, pointing towards that direction.

But Fang Hong didn't care about those staying behind; he was more interested in the actions of those obviously Invokers from the Guild—looking at their appearance, this situation seemed to have played out in this place before.

So, what kind of mysterious force was driving these ravens to act like this?

The occasional muted thud from outside the ship was the sound of ravens crashing into the deck and hull. Even though they shattered into pieces, they couldn't inflict any damage on the Seven Seas Traveler.

Yet the repetitive dull sounds made Fang Hong feel a bit oppressed, for behind any manic action, there's always a deeper reason.

Moreover, the lingering uneasiness had not dissipated.

"Let's take a look in the magic guided pod." He descended the stairs and said to Luo Hao.

But Luo Hao pointed to the porthole and turned to him: "You'd better take a look at this."

"What is it?"

"Look at those people below."

Fang Hong was about to say he had already noticed—but suddenly stopped, his gaze was frozen in that direction. Following Luo Hao's pointed direction, on the other side of those retreating into Charter City, something new seemed to have appeared on the horizon.

Fang Hong could see clearly; it was a group of dragon beasts, quite a number of them, emerging like a torrent from the southwest horizon.

"Captain, southwest."

Gita switched to another communication device, her voice faintly transmitted through the communication crystal.

Fang Hong pressed the communication crystal and replied, "I see it."

"Also in the air." Luo Hao suddenly reminded him on the side.

Fang Hong nodded, also seeing the black dots flying from the southwest, about dozens of them—flying dragon beasts known as Half-Dragons—a different category from the familiar flying dragons.

They were neither dragons nor beasts, resembling a long-whiskered whale with enormous fleshy wings. They had two pairs of elongated trapezoid wings, no scales or claws, with long nerve bundles resembling tentacles extending from their abdomen and trailing behind.

But these flying creatures all had mouths full of sharp teeth and were blind, navigating by sensing elements.

For this reason, they had another name—Blind Dragons.

But these Blind Dragons weren't easy to deal with. Fang Hong hadn't encountered these dragon beasts but had seen some videos in Charter City. The military and Guilds faced their greatest hurdle from these flying dragon beasts in the war.

To combat them, the military even deployed Dragon Knights.

"But they don't seem to be coming here." Luo Hao spoke again, his voice tinged with curiosity.

Fang Hong, too, had noticed this.

The Blind Dragons appearing in the southwest sky were in a parallel direction to their path, moving along with the dragon beast army below towards Charter City.
