Picking Up Beautiful Girls In The Post-Apocalyptic World!

Back on the lower floors of the temple, the restaurant was still in full swing most of the time as the girls handled things easily! It has been three months since Han left to go and clear the upper floors and they all missed him a lot! But even if they missed him, they didn’t allow themselves to stop training and getting stronger!

All of the fighters on the lower floors were increasing their power as much as possible so that they would be able to fight properly when the time come! Han would be coming back anytime now and they knew they had to be strong enough to fight when that time comes.

The girls all knew it would be impossible for them to become black stars by the time Han is finished with his mission. All the kings and mercenaries that became black stars were in the temple for thousands of years before they were able to gain that much power! Han and Gregory were the only people that could become so strong that fast! The only thing that they could hope for was becoming white stars!

Esteroth told everyone that he wanted all of the gold stars to become white stars before Han opened the portal to the celestial plane! A gold star will never be able to fight against a celestial! All the gold stars were just too weak and any Celestial can easily kill a gold star if they wanted! But a white star will be able to fight against some of the weaker ones! Even if there are only a few black stars in the temple, they will not be enough to fight against so many celestials! They needed more than enough white stars if they wanted to stand a chance at all! Esteroth told all the kings that if they have more than a million white stars in their armies that it will be enough for them to stand a chance against the coming fight! Esteroth didn’t know if this would be enough, but he just hoped that it would not be too small. No one really knew how strong the celestials were except for the celestials themselves and the chosen were only hoping for the best. They might not have the individual power but their sheer numbers would overwhelm the celestials!

Since Rina and Kim didn’t have natural fighting skills, unlike the other girls, they took over the running of the restaurant and they were the ones that were in charge of running the restaurant whenever the other girls went out to train or fight on different floors!

Yana was currently with her mother on floor fifty-one and Dyana went with her to take care of her during the pregnancy period. Yana didn’t want to leave the other girls, and she almost cried because she wanted Rin to come with her, but Rin assured her that Dyana would take care of her. Yana was very emotional during her pregnancy and she was even throwing tantrums like a child! But Yana needed special care since she wasn’t human. Yana’s mother was also a Dragonborn and she would know exactly what needed to be done so that Yana would give birth safely!

Currently, all the girls were gone other than Kim and Rina and they didn’t have any customers so they were just relaxing around. Rina was upstairs with Arthur and Kim was downstairs clearing the kitchen when she suddenly heard a loud crash echo through the restaurant! Kim was holding a tray of dirty dishes that she wanted to wash when she heard the sound! She heard a scream coming from upstairs and she immediately knew that it was Rina! Kim quickly rushed up the stairs and got to the second floor! She stumbled as she landed on the second floor and she looked around for the cause of the scream! Was there an intruder!? No one would dare to attack them since everyone knew who their husband was! None of the kings would allow the attackers to go free! This floor was the territory of Han ever since he beat Esteroth and no one would try to attack them on Han’s territory!

But it wasn’t an attack! There was a huge hole on one side of the wall and Rina was standing in front of the hole and looking down with a worried expression!

Once Rina heard Kim coming from behind her she turned around with a worried expression. Rina was very annoyed right now but she was also very worried.

“Arthur broke the wall!”

Rina shouted this in annoyance and anyone that heard her say this would know that she wasn’t too worried. It was like she was just talking about bad weather! She pointed to the ground and Kin came and looked down as well!

Kim was shocked! How the hell can he break the wall again!? The wall was reinforced using myrtle! It’s the strongest material in the temple!! This room was Arthur’s bedroom and they made sure that they put the highest defenses here to protect Arthur from intruders. It was not news that Arthur was the first son of Han and it was obvious that any enemy of Han would want to kidnap his son to get to him! But even with all those defenses, Arthur was getting stronger and stronger and he would always be able to break through the wall easily! His strength was increasing every day and they didn’t know what to do anymore!

How is Arthur able to break the wall!? Kim thought this in surprise! Isn’t he just three months old!? I know that he is growing faster because he is in the temple, but this is too much!

Kim looked down and she sighed as she saw Arthur wobbling forward on the road. Arthur learned how to walk a few weeks ago and ever since then he has always been trying to walk anywhere he goes. He was still clumsy with his movements but he was obviously getting better! Kim was relieved once she saw Arthur! At least he isn’t hurt! People were pointing and whispering as they watched him move but no one dared to try and stop him, they all knew who he was and they just moved out of the way to let him pass. He was moving towards the big palace in the middle of this floor and Kim immediately knew what Arthur was going after. Kim just told Rina to stay back and look after the house.

“I’ll look after him and bring him back. I think he noticed Rin was back and he wants to go see her. I’m telling you, this baby is a menace. I can’t even break this wall while using my full power and he can break it already?”

Kim jumped down from the building and landed calmly on the floor. She still didn’t have the flying skill, but she was able to easily run toward Arthur and catch him before he went too far. Kim rose the tiny troublemaker up top eye level and he giggled loudly when he saw the frown on her face. Arthur immediately recognized her as his stepmother and he squeezed her cheeks until he stretched her lips into a smile.

Kim couldn’t even stay angry at him if she tried! He was just too cute! She chuckled a little before she carried him properly and started to walk towards the castle! She was greeted by a lot of the people that recognized her and she happily waved at them as she passed! Kim was in charge of customer service and she made sure that she always improved people’s view of the restaurant! So because she was the one always greeting customers, she was very popular with the people that ate at their restaurant! It didn’t take them five minutes before they finally go to the castle. The guards allowed Kim inside and she made her way towards the training grounds where she knew that Rin would be!

“You have to send someone to get him! Do you want him to die!? That isn’t a beast that he can handle on his own!”

“He’ll be fine. He trained for this,”

The sound of shouting reached Kim before she could make it to the inner training room and she blinked in surprise! Is that not Rin!? Why is she shouting like that? And the second voice she heard definitely belonged to Esteroth! There is only one person that has that sort of gruff voice that sounded like a beast! Kim saw Arthur giggle as he heard Rin’s voice and Kim smiled as she started to walk faster to get to Rin. Once she entered the large training grounds she saw Rin standing with her hands folded across her chest! She was staring up at Esteroth with a frown! Esteroth also had a frown on his face as he stared her down but Rin refused to back down!

Cersai and Esse were standing behind Rin and Kim wondered what was going on with them! Are they quarreling!? I don’t think I’ve ever seen Rin getting this angry before! It’s like she wants to fry Esteroth with her eyes!

“Summon him back! Why would you even send him there? We already know how dangerous it is for a group to fight that beast and you want just Gregory to fight it!? It’s a black star beast! Even the fifth king Ai would have a hard time against it! Why didn’t you go and fight it yourself if you wanted it dead so badly!?”

The beast that Rin was talking about was a dangerous snake-like beast that lived on floor eighty-nine! It was a very dangerous beast that was on the black star level! And it already killed a lot of white stars that went to challenge it before! There was a rumor going around that the beast has even killed black stars before!

Esteroth grunted and looked to the side and Rin felt her eye twitch! This bastard! Is he ignoring me!? Kim heard Arthur giggle and he stretched his hands out to try and reach Rin but Kim stopped him. Mummy doesn’t look happy at all! Mummy is very angry! Let’s allow mummy to calm down before we go and talk to her! We can go play with Aunt Lily instead! Kim knew better than to interrupt Rin when she was in this kind of mood! Rin had an intense temper and all the girls knew it!

Kim looked to the side and she saw Lily, Yue, and Yuuma. Yue waved at Kim happily from on top of Lily’s shoulder! Kim waved back and she saw how Arthur became excited once he saw Lily!! Kim chuckled and allowed him to crawl on the floor to get to Lily! Lily gave Kim the meanest scowl that anyone has ever given her and Kim just shrugged it off! Don’t blame me for this! Kids love you! What the hell do you want me to do about that!?

Lily didn’t like kids, but for some reason, kids loved Lily! It was like she was the child-whisperer or something! Arthur didn’t waste any time as he immediately started to crawl towards Lily happily! Kim smiled as she saw Lily’s frown deepen!

I already had my hands full with Yue and now You’re dropping Arthur on me too! What the fuck is wrong with you!?

Kim just ignored her and turned back to the argument happening! It seems Gregory ended up in another shitty situation again!
