Picking Up Beautiful Girls In The Post-Apocalyptic World!

Yuuma ran towards the door and slammed the button that would open the door with force!

Han saw the door opening and he was about to walk inside but before he could even take a step he was slammed by a Yuuma-sized comet!

“Han!!!”

“Woah!!”

Yuuma shouted out in happiness once she saw Han and Han wrapped his hand around her with a grin! He really missed her too! Han didn’t think that she would run from her lab just to see him!

“Hey, it’s the king!”

“The first king!? Han? What’s he doing here?”

“Don’t you know!? Madam Yuuma is one of his wives! How long have you worked here? She talks about him all the time!”

“I can’t believe the king is here!”

Things like these were constantly floating around the entrance to the lab. A lot of the scientists thought that there was an emergency and they all came to the door to try and see what it was but they were happy that it wasn’t an intruder and it was only Han! They were still shocked to see Han because they never got the message that Han would be coming to visit them!

Han told Esteroth not to send the message because he wanted to surprise Yuuma. If she knew he was coming then she would have probably left the lab to come and see him or something. Han didn’t want her to just leave her work because of him.

Yuuma pulled back after some time and she kissed Han with a smile.

“What are you doing here? I thought it would take another two months before you came around,”

Han put his hands inside his coat pocket and sighed. He looked at all the people standing around and Yuuma immediately got the message! There are way too many people here! Han can’t talk about important things in front of these many people! Yuuma immediately turned around and frowned at all of them!

“What the hell are you all doing!? Get inside and continue your work!!”

The scientists immediately started to rush back inside the lab before Yuuma got angry! None of them wanted to mess with Yuuma since she was the leader of the lab and she was an intense slave driver! She would bury them with work if they tried to go against her! Once they were all gone, Yuuma turned around and grabbed Han by the hand before leading him inside the lab with a wide smile. Han spoke to her as they walked.

Han explained how he needed to come and see them before he finally goes for the final test. Yuuma was shocked by how fast Han was going through the tests. Yuuma was making a lot of weapons and inventions to help with the final fight and it would not be good if she wasn’t finished with the inventions by the time Han finished the floors! That means that she had to speed up their current work rate!

All the scientists collectively shivered once Yuuma had this thought! they knew that their lives were about to become much more difficult!

Han also told Yuuma about his plan for getting more power. Han needed to train a lot so that he doesn’t lack in power compared to any of the Celestials. It would be better if Han had too much power instead of too little. Yuuma nodded in understanding. She could tell where Han’s worry was coming from. The celestials were all very different but the one thing that Yuuma knew was that there were a lot of very strong celestials. It was possible that Han’s power wouldn’t be enough to handle all of them even if he had the support from all the chosen. Han needed to get stronger.

Yuuma stopped walking and moved to stand right opposite Han. She took his face in her hand and spoke to him with confidence.

“But even if you are working this much, don’t try to do everything alone. I’m here and all the other girls are ready to help you if you ever need us. I know I can’t fight as much as you want me to, but if you ever need me I’ll drop everything and come help out okay?”

Han grinned before he pulled Yuuma closer and kissed her deeply. Yuuma smiled into the kiss and wrapped her hand around his neck to deepen the kiss! There was a giggle from some of the female scientists that were walking past them and Yuuma turned to give them a glare that made them immediately scramble away in fright! Han just chuckled and grabbed her hand again to take her into her lab.

Once Han entered the lab, he stopped in shock and stared up at the giant machine that Yuuma was working on. Damn, it was huge! The machine was basically a futuristic-looking giant gun that towered over Han by hundreds of meters. Han had to really bend back before he could even look at it properly! Han turned around in awe to stare at Yuuma and Yuuma blushed a little and rubbed the back of her head when she saw the look in his eyes! He was looking at her like she was some sort of god!

Han couldn’t believe that the same alcoholic that came to this restaurant all that time ago was the same person that made this! Han always knew that Yuuma was smart, but this is just… unbelievable.

“This is crazy, Yuuma. How long did it take you to make this?”

Yuuma laughed a little as she remembered the weeks of sleepless nights. It must have taken her a month just to get the blueprints done! And it took her another three months to get this far!

“Ever since you left, I’ve been working on many small projects. I know that the gold stars, silver stars, and bronze stars won’t be able to do much in the fight that coming. They will be unbearably overpowered by the celestials. So I decided to create small handheld weapons for them that will help them to multiply the effects of their spells and skills. This large gun was something I just started about four months ago. It’s the trump card that I want to use against Paladin. I know he is planning something as well and we’ll need all the firepower that we can get in the coming war. I used Adamantine as the outside shell and the core was made from pure diamond. It isn’t finished yet, but once I’m done, I know it will have enough firepower to destroy an entire floor with a single blast. Those bastards won’t know what hit them,”

Han was left in shock as he heard everything she has been doing! Han had no idea that she was already thinking about how to help the chosen on the lower floors! Han always planned to exclude the chosen down there and only allow the white and black stars to fight because he knew the chosen on the lower floors were too weak to make a difference. But now that Yuuma had done all this, it might be possible to allow them to fight as well.

Han turned around and grabbed Yuuma by the face before kissing her again. It was a deep kiss that showed Yuuma just how impressed Han was by what she had done. Han couldn’t believe how far she has come in the short time that he left to go to the upper floor. Yuuma smiled when they separated.

“If I knew you would be this happy because of my inventions then I would have made more,”

Han just laughed as he carried her up and walked towards the side where he could see a bed on the floor. They would talk more after some action.
