Chapter 2471 - 2479: Frustrating Task

As the girl regained consciousness, the Illusion Technique that Qin Yu set up naturally collapsed. Wesley and Henderson rubbed their eyes hard. Damn it! How did this magic trick happen?

Lying on the bed was Holly Rosie, wasn’t it? How did she turn into two nurses in the blink of an eye?

"Who are you? Why are you lying here?" Wesley asked coldly, not in the best of moods.

The intimidating expression and tone of Wesley scared the two girls, who finally came to their senses and screamed, "Ah! I remember now! I remember! It was Doctor Li, Doctor Li knocked us out!"

Doctor Li? Veins on the foreheads of Wesley and Henderson throbbed with anger, and they couldn’t understand how—despite the SHIELD Bureau agents standing still—the Grim Reaper could have known about their operation.

Henderson immediately contacted Mossas to check the last hour of surveillance footage from the hallway of the hospital room.

Soon, Mossas finished reviewing the footage. Within that hour, only two nurses had entered and exited Holly Rosie’s hospital room.

"Henderson, the hallway footage is normal; only two nurses have entered and exited the room."

"Director, that’s too abnormal because the two nurses you saw are still inside the room." After that, Henderson walked out of the room with the two nurses.

Through the surveillance footage, all staff at the SHIELD Bureau saw the two nurses and were stunned, Good heavens, how was this magic trick done?

"What’s going on? Did the Grim Reaper slip away again?"

"Yes! Check immediately, where did these two nurses go?" Henderson’s face was extremely gloomy. He felt suffocated; it was his first time on such an operation, and he couldn’t even find his adversary!

"Okay!" Actually, without Henderson’s orders, the SHIELD Bureau staff were already on it. The Grim Reaper was as slippery as an eel—escaping too quickly, wasn’t he?

Before long, one of the nurses suddenly exclaimed, "My keys are gone! The keys to my locker are missing!"

The other nurse felt her pocket and also cried out in shock, "My locker key is gone too! There are car keys inside my locker!"

The nurse was desperate; that was the beloved car her father had just bought her, and she hadn’t had the chance to enjoy it yet!

Hearing this clue from the nurse, Henderson and Wesley hurriedly followed the two women to the storage room. They opened the lockers, and the nurse immediately broke into tears.

"My car! My BMW! Doctor Li stole my BMW!"

"Girl, don’t worry, your car won’t be gone, we’ll definitely find it for you," Henderson consoled her. However, he did not say that he had no idea what condition the car would be in when it was found.

After getting the license plate number and car model from the girl, Henderson got in touch with Mossas, who immediately issued an order, and the SHIELD Bureau quickly tracked the car’s route.

When SHIELD Bureau agents followed the route captured by the surveillance, Qin Yu and Holly Rosie had already arrived at the coast.

Daoersen was reliable, and the speedboat was ready. After exchanging a code with Qin Yu, the captain decisively allowed them to board the speedboat, which zipped away towards international waters.

...

The nurse’s car was found, but all the people at the SHIELD Bureau felt like fools, played around by Qin Yu!

"Director, based on the car’s route, the enemy seems to have planned to escape through Los Angeles International Airport. I suggest we immediately shut down the airport!"

Unfortunately, as soon as this suggestion was made, it was rejected. Mossas coldly said, "The adversary’s plan is so meticulous; how could they mess up at the last minute? I’m more inclined to believe that the enemy will flee the country on a private jet! Contact the Flight Management Bureau at once! No private flights for today."

"Yes!"

Following the no-fly order, Mossas seriously reviewed the footage of the street’s parking entrances and exits, not letting any car escape his notice.

At Mossas’ command, a search was conducted for individuals who had exited the alley within an hour after the BMW entered. They quickly ruled out these individuals as suspects.

Thus, only the cars that drove out of the alley remained under suspicion.

An hour later, all the drivers were vetted, and one taxi driver’s testimony proved most valuable: two people had gone to the shore, and to a rather secluded spot at that!

"Immediately bring up satellite imagery! Search for all speedboats heading out to sea!"

Unfortunately, by the time Mossas got to this point, it was already too late; Qin Yu and Holly Rosie had already stepped aboard the cruise ship Happiness.

Under Qin Yu’s guidance, the cruise ship Happiness was transformed into a floating casino, where playing provided guests with a taste of the drunken allure of wealth and an experience of extravagant indulgence.

Money, beautiful women, gourmet food, gambling...every stimulating pleasure one could wish for!

The only thing absent was violence since the Happiness was a property of the Death God Alliance. Who would dare to cause trouble on a Death God Alliance property?

Liu Tian was so delighted that he could hardly bear to leave the Happiness, as he earned more in a single day aboard the ship than he would in a normal year. He had truly fallen into a money pit.

After receiving news from Qin Yu, Liu Tian and Phil stood on the deck, gazing into the distance.

Finally, a white dot appeared on the distant horizon—Liu Tian and Phil’s eyes lit up as they recognized the spray of a speedboat breaking through the water surface!

"Is it Master Qin arriving?" asked Phil, a hint of excitement in his voice. Without Qin Yu, he would have been long dead at the hands of Black Shark.

"It should be!" replied Liu Tian, also thrilled.

Phil took out binoculars and saw two Caucasians, which made him frown; "Boss Liu, it might not be Master Qin. They’re two white guys."

"Brother Yu is amazing at the Face Changing Technique. Even if you saw two pigs, it’s likely they could be Brother Yu. Let’s drop the ladder!" Liu Tian knew that Qin Yu was punctual; if he said a specific time, it would be that precise time, so these two people must include Qin Yu.

But who was the other woman? Could she be Brother Yu’s lover in the United States?

Seeing the ladder descending from afar, a faint smile appeared on Qin Yu’s face. Tian really understood him, preparing the ladder from such a distance.

Regrettably, the ladder was entirely unnecessary for him.

"Brother, thank you for your efforts. Go back to Daoersen and claim your reward," Qin Yu said to the boat’s operator, who had no idea that the man before him, disguised, was actually his boss. The operator just smiled meekly.

"Hold tight, and be careful not to fall into the water," Qin Yu suddenly said to the operator with a smile, and before the puzzled operator could react, Qin Yu tightly embraced Holly Rosie’s slender waist and powerfully tapped the speedboat’s deck!

The speedboat tipped heavily, its bow plunging down, and the operator staggered, nearly falling over!

Bursting into wild laughter, Qin Yu soared into the air with Holly Rosie in his arms!

As they reached midway, the ascent slowed, and Qin Yu kicked off the descending ladder, lifting him and Holly Rosie even higher until they landed smoothly on the deck!
