Chapter 2412 - 2420: Heavy Losses

Encircling the prey? Everyone was stunned—what was Liu Yi talking about?

The hackers from Country H laughed wildly and mocked incessantly.

Even the staff at the Internet Surveillance Bureau didn’t understand what Qin Yu was saying, crowding around him curiously.

Qin Yu’s fingers flew across the keyboard, seemingly merely coding in base-36 arithmetic, yet no one could comprehend!

"Mr. Qin, what source code are you writing? Why can’t I understand any of it?"

"I’m blocking their real IPs," replied Qin Yu honestly.

That response had everyone rolling their eyes! Seriously, was Mr. Qin still asleep? Blocking their real IPs?

If it had been earlier, the Bureau’s staff would’ve surely mocked him, but Qin Yu had confounded their expectations repeatedly, so they refrained from scoffing and watched patiently instead.

Qin Yu acted swiftly, generating over a hundred lines of attack code within a minute, pinpointing the main IP of the hackers from Country H, causing their computers to crash and their systems to be formatted!

Soon, LT sensed something was wrong.

What’s happening?

One by one, the profile icons in the chat group of the Hacker Alliance from Country H turned gray.

Gradually, other hackers also noticed the anomaly, their eyes widening in disbelief at what was unfolding before them!

By the time sugar realized what was happening, only a dozen IPs remained by his side! Years of fighting against the best had honed sugar’s crisis awareness sharply!

Sugar suddenly reached for the power button! But it was already too late!

Zzzt, zzzt, sparks flew from sugar’s computer, emitting the smell of something burning!

If even sugar was taken down, how could the others escape their fate?

In just two short minutes, the computers of over two hundred hackers who had infiltrated Huaxia were destroyed!

Keep in mind, these were their main computers—housing vast data, controlling numerous zombie machines!

Once their main computers were destroyed, it was as if the hackers had lost an arm!

Their power was significantly reduced in an instant!

The observing hackers were all baffled. How did this magic trick happen? Why were the IPs of the hackers from Country H disappearing one after another?

"What’s going on? I’m a bit lost! Did an earthquake hit South Korea? Or a collective power outage?"

"Definitely not! LT’s IP is still active, so how could there be a power outage in South Korea?"

"LT, what in the world is going on?"

LT: "..."

To be honest, even LT had no idea what was happening, so he could only call sugar. The phone was quickly answered, and sugar’s voice came through, sounding dejected.

"LT, we are no match for Liu Yi! Liu Yi is too strong! He has already found my main IP, and my main computer is destroyed! I’m afraid the situation for the others is also quite dire!"

Soon, the hackers from Country H whose computers had been destroyed logged into chat software via their phones, continuously lamenting to LT.

"LT, all of our main computers are ruined! All our data is gone! We can’t contact any zombie machines! The losses are disastrous!"

"LT, please, take action and get justice for us!"

Xin Shixun’s brow furrowed deeply, as if the situation had deviated from the expected course. Just who was this Liu Yi?

However, Xin Shixun didn’t panic. Even if Liu Yi was formidable, he was still only using an imperfect version of base-128 arithmetic, while Xin himself wielded the full version of base-128 arithmetic!

Of course, Xin Shixun couldn’t know that the computer Qin Yu was using had insufficient specs to handle the full version of base-128 arithmetic without crashing.

Therefore, Qin Yu was forced to employ this incomplete version of base-128 calculation, which appeared to be quite similar to a base-32 calculation.

Xin Shixun took a deep breath and said with a heavy voice, "Don’t worry, everyone, I won’t let your losses be in vain! Liu Yi will definitely pay the price!"

After that, Xin Shixun’s fingers flew at a blistering pace as he launched one line of source code after another, written in 128-bit encryption, to hammer away at Qin Yu’s firewall!

All the hackers watching held their breaths because this was the pinnacle of battle!

As soon as Xin Shixun’s source code appeared, all the hackers were dumbfounded because they couldn’t comprehend what on earth it was!

"Huh? LT’s source code is a bit strange, isn’t it? Why can’t I understand it?"

"It is very strange, seems like some characters are from the numpad area."

"I remember long_7 once said that if one could perfectly integrate the main keyboard with the numpad, it might be possible to grasp the 128-bit operation method!"

"My God! Has LT already grasped the 128-bit operation method? Then what’s the point of competing? It’s likely that even long_7 hasn’t mastered the 128-bit operation method, has he?"

...

Instantly, everyone favored LT, and no one was optimistic about Liu Yi!

Qin Yu was frustrated, he hadn’t expected LT to be more formidable than he had imagined; having grasped the 128-bit encryption, Qin Yu would have been able to defeat LT if he had a better computer, but he was using intern Liu Yi’s computer!

Liu Yi’s computer had the worst configuration in the entire bureau. Qin Yu sighed, could it be that the firewall was about to be breached?

Boom! Xin Shixun’s attacking source code fiercely collided with Qin Yu’s firewall!

Just moments ago, when over two hundred hackers launched a brute force attack, not the slightest ripple had appeared on Qin Yu’s firewall.

But now, with LT alone, Qin Yu’s firewall began to quiver non-stop. For the first time, Qin Yu’s computer screen flickered, with the display jumping erratically, obviously unstable.

Fortunately, LT’s previous attack was just a probing one, and it didn’t destroy Qin Yu’s firewall.

Even so, the hackers from Country H cheered aloud!

"Awesome! Too freaking awesome! Worthy of the 128-bit operation method! As long as LT launches another attack, he will definitely break through the firewall!"

But the hackers from Huaxia looked ashen. What the hell? 128-bit? That was outright monstrous! They were not even in the same league! How could they continue to play like this?

For a moment, the Huaxia hackers were in low spirits, as if they foresaw that in the coming years, they would be completely outclassed by the hackers from Country H!

This time, Liu Zhi and others didn’t ridicule anymore; instead, they began to comfort Qin Yu.

"Facing the 128-bit operation method, your firewall held up against one attack, Mr. Qin, a noble defeat!

We were blind and failed to recognize a true god like you! As long as you keep working hard and manage to conquer the 64-bit and even 128-bit operations, you can definitely reclaim the title of world’s number one hacker!"

Qin Yu blinked in surprise, not expecting Liu Zhi to miss such a good opportunity to mock him, and he laughed.

"Actually, who wins and who loses is not yet certain."

No sooner had the words left his mouth than Xin Shixun’s second wave of attacks arrived! This time, the attacking source code from Xin Shixun was more numerous, more powerful, and more aggressive!

Qin Yu’s firewall finally collapsed!

Having destroyed Qin Yu’s firewall, what transpired next left all the hackers stunned!

The hackers from Country H had faces as pale as dead.

Damn it, what exactly had they been attacking? Was it the official website of the Huaxia Internet Surveillance Bureau?

No, it was clearly a knockoff website!

LT was also stunned for a moment and then, scratching his head with a mixture of laughter and tears, realized his minions had been nothing but cannon fodder, they hadn’t even touched the enemy’s territory!

The World Hacker Alliance instantly exploded in uproar!

"Damn it! My eyes must be tricking me! What is this? A knockoff Internet Surveillance Bureau’s official website? Are they treating the South Korean hackers like monkeys here?"

"Incredible! Liu Yi is freaking incredible! If it weren’t for encountering the freak LT who grasped the 128-bit system, Liu Yi would definitely have made his mark!"
