Chapter 2409 - 2417: An Incomplete 128-bit System

Lin’s throat bobbed once, oh my god!!

Damn LT, are you freaking idle?

Does it not take time to produce so many ransomware variants?

"Lin..." Mo Yuqi looked at Lin with eyes begging for help, and those eyes were simply too pitiful, too helpless.

Lin immediately gave in to Mo Yuqi’s gaze, said nothing further, and his hands flew as he began writing the source code to create a variant 6 killer.

"Lin, haven’t you noticed your computer is very laggy? I suggest you log out of Huaxia Cyber Bureau’s official website first. That way, you can write the killer more efficiently," Qin Yu said with a grin.

"Mr. Qin, if I log out of Huaxia Cyber Bureau’s official website, what if H country steals the super administrator rights? Then our bureau will be completely disgraced!"

Qin Yu chuckled, "Don’t worry, I can take over the super administrator rights temporarily."

"Mr. Qin, stop kidding, do you think super administrator rights are easy to get? Your computer’s hardware is simply not up to the task. Your computer can’t possibly withstand..."

Before he could finish, Lin found he was suddenly kicked out of the Cyber Bureau’s official website. Lin was completely stunned. What the hell was this? He was a super administrator! Who could have kicked him out?

Hurriedly, Lin logged into the Cyber Bureau’s official website, and then his eyes widened, and he was as dumbstruck as a wooden chicken!

What the hell, is this some kind of sorcery?

How did the super administrator become Liu Yi?

Sweat beads broke out on Lin’s forehead, and he couldn’t accept the reality!

Had he actually lost his super VIP privileges to Qin Yu without realizing it?

You should know, his protection for the super VIP privileges was very strict!

He had set up more than ten firewalls!

These firewalls were all made using 64-base computations!

Even sugar, jin, and Jester King, the three top ten hackers in the world, couldn’t break through these firewalls!

How did Qin Yu do it?

And what’s scarier! Qin Yu was using a 32-base computation method!

"You... how did you do it?" Lin felt numb all over his body, breaking out in a rash of goosebumps as he looked at Qin Yu as if he were a monster.

"It’s quite simple, your firewall has too many vulnerabilities. Just find a backdoor and you can get in. Plus, since Liu Yi’s account is an internal account of the Internet Surveillance Bureau, the super VIP privileges do not reject it, so it’s especially easy," Qin Yu spoke in a casual tone, as if discussing a negligible trifle, but Lin’s handsome face turned red with embarrassment!

Fuck, I bought a watch last year! My firewall has too many vulnerabilities? I’ll give you a slap in the face! Just now, not even sugar and those other top hackers in the world could breach my firewall!

Will bragging kill you?

Yet, even though he was angry, Lin couldn’t blame Qin Yu! Because Qin Yu had indeed stolen his super VIP privileges!

No way! I must take it back!

Lin typed out some tentative source codes and moved towards the super administrator privileges, only to see these tentative codes hit a firewall and dissolve as if mixing with water.

Seeing this firewall, Lin’s confidence surged. This man surnamed Qin had only set up one firewall next to the super administrator privileges?

Moreover, this firewall was using 36-base calculations!

Lin’s fingers suddenly exploded with speed, like playing the piano, as he hammered out more than a dozen attack source codes in an instant, relentlessly slamming into the firewall!

Lin’s gaze was chillingly cold; his source codes were written in the 64-bit hexadecimal system, the most ferocious he could conjure up!

Lin was certain, utterly convinced that his source codes would definitely destroy Qin Yu’s firewall!

Boom! The dozen or so source codes violently crashed into the firewall crafted by Qin Yu!

The firewall that Qin Yu had created rippled like water and the dozen or so source codes vanished into thin air.

Seeing this, Lin immediately began to write a few more source codes, attempting to communicate with the administrator’s privileges.

But to Lin’s utter surprise, the previously rippled firewall showed no signs of damage, remaining perfectly intact instead!

Qin Yu’s firewall extinguished Lin’s source codes in an instant!

This scene was something Lin could not accept! Qin Yu’s firewall was only based on a 36-bit system! And his attack source codes were written in a 64-bit system!

Shouldn’t they have demolished the firewall with ease? How could this firewall be so resilient?

Unwilling to believe it, Lin wrote another dozen or so attack source codes and launched an assault on Qin Yu’s firewall!

Unfortunately, the result was the same as before, his source codes were like stones thrown into a river, merely causing a slight splash before disappearing!

"Mr. Mo, I think Lin no longer wants the position of network advisor at Emperor Group. How about giving the position back to me?"

Watching Lin attack his firewall like a madman, Qin Yu yawned, turned his head, and looked towards Mo Yuqi.

Mo Yuqi cast a displeased glance at Lin; this guy had insisted on being the network advisor for Emperor Group, but what was he doing? He was not doing any of the work a network advisor should do!

"Lin, if you can’t handle the ransomware variant 6, please be upfront about it, I can replace you," Mo Yuqi said.

Mo Yuqi’s words snapped Lin out of his obsession. He took a deep look at Qin Yu and started typing on the keyboard again.

This time, Lin did not continue attacking Qin Yu’s firewall but resigned himself to writing a specialized killer for variant 6.

...

The hackers of Country H were unaware of the strife within the Huaxia internet agency; the atmosphere among them grew very tense!

This was especially true for Sugar and the other two top hackers, who remained silent. They felt utterly humiliated, as if they had lost face all the way to their grandmother’s home!

Sugar had just used up all his tricks, yet failed to breach the vulnerabilities fixed by Liu Yi! Instead, he had accidentally affected his fellow hackers, causing the computers of the Country H hacker group to crash, allowing the Huaxia hackers to seize the chance and retake control of the official website of the internet agency.

"LT, I think there’s something off with Liu Yi! If he really used 32-bit to fix the vulnerabilities, why can’t I find a backdoor? Why was my information stream attack ineffective?" Sugar said with a puzzled expression.

As Sugar was clashing with Qin Yu, Xin Shixun had been observing from the sidelines. At first, Xin Shixun hadn’t noticed anything unusual.

But when Sugar used the information stream attack, the vulnerability patched by Qin Yu finally showed a momentary distortion. Through this distortion, Xin Shixun spotted the issue!

"Sugar, your loss is no shame! This Liu Yi might be an expert no weaker than long_7! He probably ranks in the top three in the world!

Liu Yi hasn’t used 32-bit operations, but rather 108-bit methods! However, what he used wasn’t the full 108-bit version, but an incomplete one! Hence, it seemed like 32-bit," Xin Shixun explained.

Xin Shixun’s words left all the South Korean hackers with their eyes wide open in disbelief! A 108-bit system? Wasn’t that absurdly overpowered?

Seeing the hackers from Country H dumbstruck, Xin Shixun calmly said, "Don’t panic, everyone. Even if it were a complete 108-bit system, there’s no need to be afraid! I will definitely defeat this Liu Yi!"
