Chapter 1106 - Di Shang!

Chapter 1106: Di Shang!

Edited by RED

“Your name is Di Shang?” Lin Feng asked the other disciple accompanying him as they were flying towards the city. Di Shang was wearing white clothes. He was also one of the eight disciples Lin Feng had defeated.

“Indeed, Uncle, my name is Di Shang,” said Di Shang nodding respectfully, but he wasn’t very fast. He was struggling to keep up with Lin Feng., Lin Feng slowed down. He didn’t want to leave them behind.

“Not bad. Forget about the relationship between Godly Ancestor Xing Yun and me. You and I are of the same generation. We’re both cultivators of the fifth Great Supreme God layer, right?” Lin Feng smiling calmly.

“You’re joking, Uncle. We can’t compare my strength to yours. You can probably defeat cultivators of the seventh Great Supreme God layer, Uncle,” replied Di Shang, smiling wryly. He didn’t admit Lin Feng and he were of the same generation. He knew he was much weaker than Lin Feng.

Lin Feng didn’t insist, but he really didn’t consider these two as juniors. Lin Feng didn’t consider himself strong enough to think that way.

“Yu Men Jie, you’ve been silent the whole way. How come you’re not as talkative as before?” Lin Feng asked Yu Men Jie, who was hundreds of meters away from them. He was lagging behind on purpose, but Lin Feng didn’t care.

Lin Feng couldn’t let anything ruin the auctions, or other people would obtain the best items. The University of Stars and Clouds didn’t lack money; when they had left, Godly Ancestor Xing Yun had given Lin Feng one billion godly coins. Godly coins were small blue coins the size of a thumb. They were the official currency of the World of Battles.

When Lin Feng received the blue godly coins, he realized there was no currency in the Country of Eternity. Back in the Continent of the Nine Clouds, their currency was crystals. In the Continent of the Gods, they used godly crystals, but in the Country of Eternity, there was no currency.

Yu Men Jie looked at Lin Feng glumly and then lowered his head again. He didn’t know why Lin Feng had chosen him to go to Liang City’s auctions. Of course, he was excited, but he hadn’t thought Lin Feng would choose him.

Lin Feng knew that Yu Men Jie didn’t intend to submit to him and that he hated him. He even wanted to get revenge. But Yu Men Jie still didn’t understand why Lin Feng had chosen him.

“Hey, you’re not talking, eh? Bad boy. You do have a bad temper. Hehe,” said Lin Feng, smiling broadly. He didn’t look angry at all as he turned his head and saw the city.

“Di Shang, tell me about the city. Are there influential groups in this city which can pose a threat to us?” asked Lin Feng.

Di Shang smiled wryly. He felt awkward because there were so many influential groups in Liang City that were much more powerful than the University of Stars and Clouds.

“Uncle, the University of Stars and Clouds is the weakest group,” said Di Shang. He didn’t know what else to say. He hoped Lin Feng would understood.

“Explain,” prodded Lin Feng expressionlessly.

Di Shang sighed helplessly and replied, “Uncle, Liang City is tens of millions of li in size. The Kong Sect, the Luo Sect, the Bao Long Pavilion, and the Celestial Pavilion of Enchantments are all stronger than our university.

“According to the different grades of the World of Battles, they are fourth-grade influential groups. They all have two or three Godly Ancestors. Our university has only one, so it’s not even a fourth-grade influential group.

“Buddhist Mountain is the group which has the most Buddhist Ancestors. We call Buddhist Godly Ancestors ‘Buddhist Ancestors’. Buddhist Mountain is a second-grade influential group, but people don’t know much about it. They’re very mysterious and they never participate in auctions or Competitions. They live in isolation.” explained Di Shang.

When he mentioned Buddhist Mountain, Lin Feng smiled, because Buddhist Mountain had disappeared. I am now the descendant of Buddhist Mountain, Lin Feng thought.

“This time, the Celestial Pavilion of Enchantments is in charge of the auctions. When you hear that name, don’t you think of a pavilion as a restaurant or a distillery?”

“Indeed; isn’t that the case?”

“Of course not. The Celestial Pavilion of Enchantments is an influential group in Liang City, but they do have a distillery; some people even call them the Celestial Distillery of Enchantments. People don’t know much about it, though,” Di Shang explained somberly.

“What you mean is that the Celestial Pavilion of Enchantments could be the branch of another influential group?” asked Lin Feng.

“Maybe. Back in the days, someone tried to cause trouble to the Celestial Pavilion of Enchantments. He was a Godly Ancestor from outside of the city, half a day later, that Godly Ancestor’s corpse was hanging on the city gate.

“After that Godly Ancestor was killed, four other great Godly Ancestors showed up, but in the end, they failed. When they left, they weren’t careful enough and were killed.

“From then on, all the influential groups of Liang City consider the Celestial Pavilion of Enchantments the most powerful influential group of town. Nobody dares offend them,” explained Di Shang, saying everything he knew. If Lin Feng wanted to know more, he would have to go and find out more on his own.

“Let’s go down,” said Lin Feng, indifferently glancing down at Liang City from the sky.

Lin Feng flew down. Di Shang and Yu Men Jie followed him.

——

After a short time, Lin Feng, Di Shang, and Yu Men Jie entered the city.

Liang City wasn’t too big, and the buildings weren’t extraordinary. It didn’t look built-up or holy. It was just a normal sprawling city.

The Celestial Pavilion of Enchantments was in the central part of the city, where the most powerful sects and clans were. The other sects and clans didn’t try to expel the Celestial Pavilion of Enchantments from the center of the city because they knew they couldn’t.

It was noontime, and there were many people out, especially at the entrance of the Celestial Pavilion of Enchantments. The auctions took place in the Celestial Pavilion of Enchantments every ten years, so many people were excited. What kind of treasures would they find? How deadly would the fights be?

Lin Feng and the two others found the Celestial Pavilion of Enchantments’ entrance gate. Lin Feng looked absolutely expressionless. He was about to enter their territory, but Di Shang looked at him worriedly and put his arm in front of Lin Feng.

“Uncle, no matter what happens, control yourself. Even if we don’t obtain many items, it doesn’t matter, let’s not offend the other influential groups. Our teacher told us to tell you that.”
