The next Emperor of the Valorant Empire was the Crown Prince, Aldren Valorant.

The news of his father’s demise reached him at the worst possible time. The situation of the Valorant Empire was already complicated, and the matter of their participation in the war was still on hold. "That seat belonged to your father."Emperor Caelus pointed.

His fingers slowly tightened against the armrest as he looked at it.The other Emperors also noticed his reaction, but none of them said anything.

Aldren took a deep breath and slowly calmed himself.

He was no longer the Crown Prince.

He was now the Emperor of Valorant.

Even though he was new to the position and weaker than his father, he had to maintain the prestige of the Valorant Empire.

He could not show weakness here.

He straightened his back and looked toward the others with a serious expression.

The battle had ended, but the problems it had created were only beginning.

And now, as the newest Emperor sitting among them, Aldren would have to face those problems alongside the remaining Emperors.

Taking a cough, he asked, "I assume everything had been handled, and I was called to talk about the distribution of territory!"

The three Emperors looked at one another, and that small exchange immediately caused Aldren’s heart to stir. His eyes moved between them, and his expression slowly became cautious.

’Why are they looking at one another like that? Don’t tell me they want to gulp Arcadia without giving Valorant a bite.’

His expression became heavy, and his fingers lightly tightened against the armrest. He had only recently taken the throne, but he was not foolish enough to ignore such a situation. Arcadia was a massive piece of land, and if the other Empires divided it among themselves, Valorant could suffer a great loss.

Before he could speak, Queen Ophelia explained, "Yes, it was about that, but now we have a problem."

Aldren’s brows furrowed.

"What problem?"

"Ethan Blanks!"

"Who is he?" Aldren asked bluntly.

He had never heard of such a name. From the way Queen Ophelia had spoken, however, it seemed like Ethan was someone who had suddenly emerged during the battle.

He had been keeping tabs on the battlefield but messages took some time.Few days he hadn’t received the information when the message of his father’s death startled.

After that he hadn’t been keeping tabs on things outside as he was busy pacifying the inside. ℴℴ𝘮

"He is one of the warriors from Arcadia."

"So?"

Emperor Alderic leaned back slightly before explaining the matter of Ethan and the strength he had displayed during the battle. He carefully described what they had witnessed and how Ethan had been able to call upon a future version of himself.

The more Aldren listened, the more serious his expression became. The surprise in his eyes slowly turned into disbelief, and then into caution.

’A Transcendent Knight at an age below one hundred? Are you kidding me?’

He remained silent for several moments as he tried to digest everything he had just heard.

"This isn’t a joke, right?" he asked carefully.

No one answered immediately.

However, the grim expressions of the other Emperors already gave him the answer.

Aldren’s face tightened.It really wasn’t a joke.

"More than that, he had the power to call upon a future self. They make him equal to us."

Aldren wanted to say if this was a joke but swallowed his words.

Aldren’s fingers tapped lightly against the armrest as he thought about the situation. The original plan had been simple. Arcadia would be divided among the remaining Empires, and everyone would receive a portion according to their contribution.

But now, everything has changed.

After thinking for a moment, Aldren raised his eyes and asked, "So now what do you propose?"

"We need to wait for his answer."

Aldren’s eyes narrowed slightly.

Emperor Alderic continued, "We have already called him. He might be on the way."

The camp fell silent for a brief moment.

None of them spoke.

The four Emperors sat together while the atmosphere slowly became heavier. Even Aldren, who had only recently taken his father’s place, could feel the importance of the person they were waiting for.

A few moments later, a loud voice suddenly echoed from outside the camp.

"Lord Ethan is here."

The four Emperors exchanged glances.

Emperor Caelus straightened his back and spoke calmly.

"Allow him to enter."

The guards outside immediately moved aside, and the entrance of the camp slowly opened.
