Chapter 747: 747:Don’t Waste My Time

The silent battlefield suddenly trembled.

A deep cracking sound came from high above.

CRACK!

Everyone instinctively raised their heads.

The sky itself had begun to split apart.

Thin cracks appeared across the blue heavens before rapidly spreading in every direction. The cracks grew wider and wider until the entire sky looked like a huge piece of glass that was being shattered from the inside. Golden light leaked through the gaps, and a powerful divine presence slowly descended from beyond the broken sky.

BOOM!

The shattered pieces of space finally burst apart.A figure slowly stepped forward through the golden light.

The moment he appeared, a terrifying divine pressure swept across the entire battlefield. The ground trembled beneath everyone’s feet, and even the locked space seemed to shake under his presence. The golden light surrounded his body like a natural glow, making it difficult for anyone to see his appearance clearly.

Agros immediately looked upward.

His expression changed.

His crimson eyes narrowed as he tried to see through the golden trail of light surrounding the newcomer. For a brief moment, his face remained calm, but that calmness quickly disappeared.

His eyes widened.

A look of disbelief and horror appeared on his face.

He looked at the figure again before suddenly turning his gaze toward Ethan.

His expression became even more complicated as he tried to understand what he was seeing.

The others noticed Agros’ strange reaction.

Emperor Aldric slowly raised his head.

"What is going on?"

Everyone looked toward the sky.

Their expressions changed one after another.

"Wait a minute..."

"Is that?"

The words were filled with disbelief as they stared at the figure descending through the golden light.

Even Queen Ophelia was completely shocked.

She stood close to Ethan and immediately turned her attention toward him.

Her eyes carefully scanned Ethan from head to toe before moving back toward the figure in the sky.

’Is that one standing close to a clone?’

The thought flashed through her mind.

She carefully examined Ethan’s aura and searched for any connection between the two.

But she could not find anything.

There was no obvious sign of a clone.

No strange connection.

Nothing that could explain how another Ethan had appeared.

Ethan himself was completely stunned.

He stared at the figure above him and slowly recognized the familiar appearance.

His eyes widened. His heart suddenly filled with excitement.

His future self had finally arrived.

For the first time since Agros appeared, Ethan felt a sense of relief.

The future Ethan slowly lowered his gaze. His eyes met Ethan’s.For a brief moment, neither of them spoke.

Yet Ethan felt as though those eyes had already conveyed countless things to him.

He understood.

’All the others rejected the call because they didn’t want to appear until the enemy was revealed.’

’If they jumped in too early and the enemy turned out to be stronger than expected, we might have created an even bigger problem.’

The meaning reached Ethan without any words.

Ethan silently nodded.

Future Ethan then turned his gaze toward Agros.

His expression became cold.

A faint smile appeared on his lips.

"Whether it was past, present, or future..."

"You always carry that punchable face everywhere you go."

Agros’ expression instantly became ugly.

He clearly recognized the voice, but he had no time to respond to the mockery.

His eyes remained fixed on Future Ethan.

His voice shook with disbelief.

"Who are you?Why are you so strong?"

Future Ethan calmly looked at him.

His lips slowly curled upward.

"I am Ethan."

He paused for a moment while the golden light continued flowing around his body.

"As for why I am strong..."

"You don’t need to know that."

Agros’ expression distorted the moment he heard those words. A strange bloody aura suddenly erupted from his body, and the space around him began to tremble under the pressure. His eyes locked onto Future Ethan as he prepared to attack, but before he could even move, the white-haired figure had already disappeared.

Agros’ eyes shook with shock.

He quickly turned around and found Future Ethan standing beside the injured Ethan. Without saying anything, Future Ethan grabbed Ethan and moved him away from the battlefield, placing him in a safe position where the battle between them could not reach him. The movement was so fast that Ethan himself barely had time to react.

"You..."

Agros’ face became ugly.

Anger boiled inside him, but the humiliation was even worse. Someone had just taken his prey right from under his nose. It was a blatant act of disrespect, and his bloody aura began to surge violently around his body.

"I will kill you!"

His roar shook the entire battlefield.

BOOOM!

Agros slammed his foot into the ground.

The earth beneath him was instantly pulverized, and a massive crimson aura exploded outward. Anything that touched the bloody energy was immediately torn apart. Rocks crumbled into dust, and the remaining debris was blown away as the pressure spread across the battlefield.

At the same time, the body of Alaster lying nearby suddenly began to transform.

His remaining skin was torn apart as a terrible black and red mass broke free from within his body. Bones cracked while his flesh twisted into an ugly shape. A demonic visage slowly emerged from the ruined body, and an overwhelming aura began to rise from it.

The transformation had not even finished when Future Ethan’s mocking voice calmly echoed through the battlefield.

"Agros..."

"No need to waste your time."

"You know you aren’t strong enough to take me down."

"I have already seen your tricks."

"I too don’t waste my time on you, so leave."

"I will spare you."

Agros froze.

His expression became completely stiff as if he had heard something impossible.

"WHATTT!"

His voice was filled with disbelief.

He could not understand what he was hearing.

He was not some random person who could be casually dismissed. He was Agros, the First Devotee of the Lord of the Second Layer of Hell. He was almost as powerful as the Lord himself. He was not merely his right-hand man. He had once been his greatest contender for the throne and had even come close to defeating him before eventually losing and becoming his devotee.

Since then, Agros had continued growing stronger while secretly building his own plans. He had always wanted to take the throne of Hell for himself, and after countless years of scheming, his grand plans were finally close to bearing fruit.

Yet now...

A random man who had appeared from nowhere was standing before him and telling him to leave because he was not worth his time.

"Did..."

"Did you just say that I am a waste of your time?"
