Path To Godhood Begins With Marrying Wife And Gaining SSS Rank Skill

Chapter 478:Mythic Rank

Chapter 478:Mythic Rank

Meanwhile at Blanks, Ethan completed his preparations before beginning the next stage of his training.

Before starting, he summoned Otlo to the chamber.

The blacksmith arrived quickly, wiping sweat from his hands while looking slightly confused about why he had been called so suddenly.

Ethan walked around the forge equipment placed inside the chamber and pointed toward several rune engravings on a weapon rack and the mana lamp structures.

“You need to fix these,” Ethan said calmly while tracing a finger across the runic structure.

Otlo leaned forward and looked carefully.

His eyes widened.

“Lord… these are…”

Ethan continued speaking.

“The mana flow here is inefficient. This rune connection is slightly misaligned, and the energy pathway leaks mana before reaching the core structure.”

Otlo stared at the structure again.

Then he looked at Ethan with complete shock.

“My lord… how did you see that?”

Ethan simply shrugged.

“I achieved a breakthrough in Mage level recently.”

Otlo immediately nodded with admiration.

“That explains everything.”

Even though he was still shocked, Otlo did not question further and began taking notes quickly.

After giving him several instructions about what needed to be corrected, Ethan finally dismissed him.

Once Otlo left, the chamber returned to complete silence.

Ethan slowly sat down again in the center of the room.He took a deep breath and calmed his mind.

Now it was time.

His eyes focused on the system interface.

“Divine Flame Extract.”

SWOOOSHHHH!

The moment he gave the command, a brilliant golden flame suddenly appeared in front of him.

The flame floated quietly in the air for a brief moment before it rushed forward and entered directly through his forehead.

The next moment Ethan’s body froze.

Then the pain arrived.

“AAAAHH!”

Ethan screamed in horror.

A burning sensation exploded inside his mind.

“Hisss…!”

“What the hell!”

“Damn… damn!”

He clutched his head with both hands while his entire body trembled violently. It felt as if his brain had suddenly been thrown into a furnace.

The pain was not physical. It came from deep inside his consciousness.

It felt like a blazing fire spreading through every corner of his mind while something was forcing its way into his soul.

A sharp screeching sensation echoed inside his thoughts. It was as if countless invisible needles were piercing his mind repeatedly.

Sweat poured down his face.

His breathing became heavy and uneven.

Ethan gritted his teeth while trying to endure the pain.

The golden flame slowly descended deeper into his consciousness.

Then suddenly it reached the core of his soul.

For a brief moment everything went completely silent.

Then the flame bloomed.

A radiant golden fire ignited inside Ethan’s soul. But strangely it did not destroy anything.

Instead it began purifying his soul.

Layers of impurities burned away while the core of his spirit became clearer and stronger.

The burning sensation slowly changed.

Instead of painful destruction, it now felt like intense refinement.

His soul grew stronger.

More stable.

More resilient.

Ethan did not know how long the process lasted.Time seemed meaningless while the golden flame continued refining his spiritual core.

Eventually the burning sensation began to fade.

The golden flame settled quietly inside his soul.

Ethan slowly opened his eyes.

His breathing was still heavy.

“…That was insane,” he muttered while wiping sweat from his face.

After calming down slightly, Ethan took out the next reward.

The Draconic Bloodline Potion.

The crimson liquid inside the vial shimmered faintly while traces of dark void energy swirled within it.

Ethan looked at it for a moment.

Then without hesitation he swallowed it completely.

BOOOOM!

The moment the potion entered his body, a terrifying wave of energy exploded inside him.

“GRAAAAAHH!”

Ethan roared loudly.

His muscles tightened violently while powerful heat spread through his entire body.

His veins glowed faintly beneath his skin.

Draconic energy began flowing through his bloodstream. His bones trembled while his body rapidly adapted to the new bloodline.

Flashes of crimson flame burst across his aura.

At the same time faint black void energy appeared around him.

Two different draconic forces began merging inside his body.

Ethan’s roar echoed through the chamber and shook the stone walls.

“POUR THE KNIGHT INSIGHT!”

“LET IT BLOOM!”

The next moment Ethan activated the final reward. The thousand years of Knight Insight.

A massive surge of combat knowledge and strength rushed into his mind.

BOOOOM!

The energy exploded through his body like a violent storm.

His aura surged outward.

The chamber trembled while cracks spread across the stone floor beneath him.

Ethan threw his head back and laughed loudly.

“HELL YEAHHHH!”

While Ethan was preparing for his breakthrough inside the secluded chamber, he had already delegated another important task to Rina.

Her responsibility was to assemble the rare ores and materials required for forging the special sword.

Unfortunately, the task was far from simple.

After discussing with Mareti about the forging process, Ethan had received a suggestion. Mareti believed that if they used the right combination of materials, the sword could be enhanced to an extremely high level and might even become a growth-type artifact that could evolve along with its owner.

The idea immediately caught Ethan’s attention.

For several days Mareti studied the forging manual carefully and modified the original design.

Finally he prepared a detailed list and handed it over to Rina.

The list was long and intimidating.

The core materials alone made Rina feel a headache coming.

Core materials required were:

Star Dust Essence.

Ancient Dragon Heart.

Ancient Dragon Soul.

Besides those, there were also many supplementary materials such as Mithril, Adamantite, Rudium, Fire Essence Iron, Dystonia Stellium, Legendary-grade Fire Elemental Gem Helbula, and Cosmic Sand.

Most of the supplementary materials were rare but still possible to obtain through merchants or special trading channels.

However, two items on the list seemed almost impossible.

Star Dust Essence.

And Dragon Soul.

Rina rubbed her forehead while staring at the list.

“Dragon soul…”

She muttered quietly.

“Just where in the world are we supposed to find a dragon soul?”

No one had seen a real dragon in nearly a hundred years.

The only creature remotely related to dragons that they currently had around the fortress was none other than Rathlos.

At that moment Rathlos was standing nearby while reviewing some documents. He suddenly paused when he noticed Rina staring at him with an unusual gaze.

He coughed lightly and adjusted his glasses.

“Milady… I think I should correct you,” Rathlos said calmly.

“Although I possess a draconic bloodline at the very end of my lineage, I am still a wyvern.”

“One cannot change their core species.”

Rina’s lips twitched slightly after hearing that.

“Did you really think we would extract your soul?” she asked flatly.

Rathlos raised an eyebrow.

“Nothing is impossible…”

For a moment the room fell quiet.

“….”

Then Rathlos suddenly chuckled.

“Haa… just kidding!”

He pushed his glasses back up the bridge of his nose while smiling.

Of course he knew the truth. There was no way they would harm him.He was far too valuable.

Rina cleared her throat and returned to the real topic.

“I was just wondering if you knew anything about dragons,” she said.

Rathlos shook his head slowly.

“The birth of dragons is extremely difficult because their fertility rate is very low.”

“Secondly, most of the dragons that existed during my time had already reached the Ascension Realm.”

“After reaching that level, many of them went into seclusion.”

He paused for a moment before continuing.

“I do not know whether they left any offspring behind, but finding one would be extremely difficult.”

He tapped the table lightly with his finger.

“So leaving that aside, we should focus on the Star Dust Essence.”

“That way Lord Ethan can at least begin forging the sword.”

Rina nodded.

“Yes. He will have to make do without the draconic soul for now.”

Just as they were continuing the discussion, a gentle knock echoed at the door.

“Sister Rina. Sir Rathlos. May I come in?”

Rina immediately stood up and smiled.

“Sister Amber, why are you asking for permission?” she said warmly.

“This place belongs to you as much as it belongs to us.”

The door opened and Amber walked inside.

Unlike most people who needed several days to recover after childbirth, Amber had returned to her peak condition within just two days thanks to powerful potions and her strong knightly constitution.

Moreover, knights often felt restless if they stayed away from their weapons for too long.

“Sister Amber, did you need something?” Rina asked.

Amber shook her head lightly.

“No… no. I just received a message from my father.”

She walked forward and placed an envelope on the table.

“He asked me to give this to Ethan.”

Rina casually picked up the envelope and glanced at the contents.

The next moment her eyes widened dramatically.

“Oh myyyyy…”

She stared at the letter again in disbelief.

“…Is that really it?”
