Chapter 5 - Failed Meeting
“It’s as if she were the embodiment of the word ‘Talent’.” Said the eight-foot silhouette.
“Right?! Even her older brother, the famous Andreia Adler, “The Titan”, didn’t have that potential at her age!” Replied the little silhouette by getting up from her chair and putting her hands on the table to emphasize what she said.
“It really seems that the Adler imperial family is full of geniuses, there is not a single one of them who is not a monster in their own way…haaa, if only we had the same amount of geniuses in Beati…” Lamented the silhouette with the female voice as she rested her arms on the table.
“Oh, oh! How about marrying Andreia? He’s still single, and even though you’re about to turn 30, I think-“
*BAM*
Suddenly, the small silhouette fell to the ground as a result of the incredible weight being applied to her, leaving her stuck to the ground.
“OUCH! WHY THE HELL DID YOU DO THAT, WOMAN!?” Shouted the small silhouette from the ground, slowly standing up while magic circles appeared on her arms and legs, shining intensely and enhancing her physical strength.
“Hmph, you dare to mention my age, kid…” Replied the silhouette with a feminine voice, standing up while the shadow that covered her body disappeared and revealed a beautiful adult woman with long pink hair and purple eyes.
She was wearing a tight black dress that accentuated her curves very well, however, despite the great charm that the woman gave off, what was most striking at this moment was that her hands gave off small purple rays as she made the gesture of crushing something..
“…You actually dared to call me kid…it seems that you are tired of living, eh grandma?” The little silhouette answered as she stood up ignoring the weight she was feeling.
The shadow that covered her body also disappeared, leaving behind what seemed to be a little girl of 10-12 years old whose arms and legs were full of magical circles that were shining even more than the previous ones. This girl was quite beautiful, although right now her face had a terrifying expression as she watched the woman before her.
This girl was wearing a black top with sleeveless straps that exposed her abdomen along with shorts that ended in black boots, as well as black leather gloves that had a magic circle on the back of her hand. Unlike the previous woman, this girl had silver hair, which was cut in a bob shape, it combined nicely with her adorable face and her bright blue eyes.
“Come then, you little brat! Someone should have taught you a lesson long ago!” Replied the woman opening her palms, the small rays in her hands turning into dense purple electric currents, emanating a terrifying pressure that even cracked the table where they were all gathered, indicating that she was serious.
“You’re going down, old woman!” Replied the girl as several magical circles appeared around the room, the power of these magical circles was considerably high as even the presence of just one of them gave off some pressure, enough to overwhelm any average super, even causing the floor of the room to crack.
“Ahh…the table…it was made of 8th grade magic wood…and the floor had been reinforced with sacred minerals…what a waste…”
“…”
“…”
Hearing the words of the silhouette with a slow and lazy female voice, both of them instantly deactivated their powers.
“8th grade…magic wood…you say…?” Asked the woman with an incredulous expression on her face.
“S-sacred minerals…?” Asked the little girl as she looked at the deplorable state of the floor.
“That’s right, the table is made of 8th grade wood, surely you understand how precious this table was right?” Said the eight-foot silhouette as he looked at the pink haired woman who had asked the question. “As for the sacred mineral floor…I’m afraid I’ll have to tell the principal.” He added, giving the little girl a look of pity.
The woman with pink hair began to calculate in her head how much would it cost her, “8th grade wood, with my current salary…the size of the table…the current market price, I’ll be able to pay for it in…3 months! Great!…DAMN IT!!” she yelled, wanting to crush something but stopping immediately because everything was expensive here.
The girl on the other hand simply fell to her knees, as for her face, one could only see a look of despair, she had already resigned herself to her fate!
Leaving these two women aside, the eight-foot silhouette also got rid of the shadow covering his body, revealing a large man in yellow martial arts attire that did little to hide his great musculature.
Even though he did not have a really handsome face, his honey-colored eyes showed an imperturbable calm that gave him an indescribable charm, as if everything was under his control, he also had short black hair along with a tanned skin and a prominent beard.
He stood up and walked to the window of the floor they were on, looking out over the big city.
“Haa, I spent 2 days looking for a way to look mysterious with the Veils of Shadow and this happened…” Lamented the great man leaning his arm and head against the window.
“Now… now… what matters…is that…you made the effort…” Said the female silhouette with the slow and lazy voice which had now become a 19 years old girl.
She had a small bowler hat, black hair that reached her shoulders, black eyes that seemed to be able to see through everything, a snow-white skin and a short black victorian-style dress that reached her knees.
Although the young woman had the word ‘tiredness’ written all over her face, the eight-foot-tall man didn’t care since that was her natural expression.
The young woman was not small or anything like that, but the man simply made everyone look smaller than what they really were, giving rise to a somewhat comical scene of a small girl comforting a giant.
“Now we really can’t discuss about the rookies with the most potential at this meeting…not without the table at least.” Said a thin man with gray hair and light blue eyes, he was wearing a white shirt with a light blue checkered tie that matched his eyes and black pants.
“Although those three are the most promising, there are still quite a few young people with considerable potential, and who knows, maybe a black horse will show up…” Said another person, this time a brown-eyed blond man who was wearing a military vest with nothing underneath, leaving his toned body visible, also wearing military pants along with some pretty thick black leather boots.
“It would be nice if there was one like that…but anyway, I really hope that most of those rookies will choose our academy.” Said the man with glasses.
“And we have to look out for the Laers Guild, those sneaky cowards will definitely try something on the entrance exam.” Replied the blond man in military attire, not even bothering to hide the anger in his voice.
At that moment, the eight-foot man interrupted them to say with total confidence, “Hm, when has our Eitsirc Academy ever lacked promising students?”
“As for the Laers Guild…I’d like to see them try something, that way our dear teachers will have a chance to show the world how we deal with such threats.”
Like the eight-foot man said, they could not help but agree that the Eitsirc Academy was the number one when it came to educating supers to become incredible characters, so there was never a lack of talents willing to risk their lives to get into the Academy, although the Laers Guild worried them anyway.
The blond man and the man with glasses then turned to see the “reliable professors” that the eight-foot man was talking about…and one was still cursing about being three months short of paying for the table, while the other was now trying to close the cracks in the floor just to fail time and time again…
‘May heaven help us…’ Both men thought as they made a praying sign with their hands.

The day after school ended, Jay was in the middle of his backyard, which consisted of a large grass field with high fences surrounding the entire space, giving Jay some privacy and a lot of space.
He was only wearing black sweatpants with nothing on the top of his body, showing off his body, which had some signs that he had been working out really hard.
“Hufff…”
Jay exhaled slowly while standing on his hands.
It was now 2 pm, and Jay had spent the whole morning exercising non-stop, so now he was quite tired and hungry.
Due to him not having equipment to exercise, he had been doing sit-ups, squats, push-ups and running in his backyard, but lately he had gotten a little tired of it all so he decided to look for different ways to train, this being one of them.
“That’s…all!” he shouted before he fell to the ground panting due to fatigue.
“A-Ah, hehe, I can’t feel my arms…in fact, I can’t feel anything…” Jay said from the ground with a silly smile on his face. “But it doesn’t matter, this…is the pain of progress…!”
He then fell asleep on the floor from the incredible fatigue he was feeling, unaware that someone else was in his yard at this moment.
“…He has really improved his physique quite a bit…and very quickly…although, he hasn’t changed at all, this idiot, falling asleep in the middle of the yard, he’ll end up with a really bad burn if I leave him here, I’d better take him to his bedroom.” Said a girl who had been watching Jay for a while.
She then waved her wand, which she had taken out from her pocket, gently lifting Jay up using some kind of spell, and entered the house with an unconscious Jay levitating behind her.
