Chapter 1685: No-Name (15)

"...!"

Pupils constricted, souls shook, and scales numbed as Wei Wuyin was unable to hold back his domineering transformation as his bloodline stirred fiercely with every exchange, bringing it out in full force, and generating all sorts of temporal and spatial phenomenon.

Wei Wuyin observed his scaly palms for a moment. The scales emanated a glint of dark grey that signified the essence of time, the shimmering of silver that denoted the purest essence of space, while the scales themselves were no longer hexagonal but decagonal in shape. They were closely connected, layering faintly upon each other, forming a sturdy fortress of protective scales that exuded an impregnable aura.

The nails on his fingers were as dark as the starry skies, containing an endless depth that was simply dreadful to observe. It felt as if a single swipe could gouge out your existence across all of time and space, ripping you out of the River of Time and splitting you into the three-dimensional layers of space.

The cells of Wei Wuyin's body had undergone an unimaginable transformation. Whenever he transformed before, while his cells would be tainted by the aura of a True Dragon, his current cell substructure was no different than a seamless mixture of Magi and Dragon. When he saw this, his eyes, which remained as a pair of Alchemic Stars with firmer, fiercer, and ferocious defined edges and points that breached the irises violently, honed into his bodily cells' evolution.

Putting aside the mixture of auras, such as the Blessing of the Mortal Dao, Mystic Dao, and that eternal presence, his cells had always remained human-like in base structure even after cultivating the Stellar-Paragon Physique, resembling those like Ma Zheng and Du Ling. However, his cells felt as if they grew increasingly complex and animalistic.

'Did stimulating my bloodline energies awaken my Magi's latent bloodline properties as well?'

What startled him wasn't the change of physical cells, but the seamless fusion between Magi, an incredibly ancient bloodline dating back to the creation of all things, and a True Void Dragon Bloodline, a likely non-existent metaphysical bloodline he had cultivated and created on his path of cultivation.

Unable to immediately see the immediate implications of this development, he could only inspect the rest of his body for other abnormalities but found nothing else that was out of the ordinary except his constant absorption of mana that was being violently devoured by his physical cells containing his physical energies, incessantly replacing his exhausted bloodline energies at a rate that was faster than the exhaustion by a dozenfold.

'Does this mean I can stay in this state perpetually if I don't exert myself?'

Discovering this possibility, Wei Wuyin realized this was the result of his Stellar-Paragon Physique's properties of recovery and regeneration merging flawlessly with his True Void Dragon Bloodline's needs.

'If I actively devoured mana, what would happen?'

The thought crossed his mind as he moved his hand slightly to observe his sharp, dark claws, feeling the tug of the void and shift of gravity almost immediately.

"Hm?"

He audibly voiced as he realized that the level of physical presence he was exerting far exceeded Solar Stars. He had his own gravitational force! Without using his Centralized Gravitational Mass! By the raw virtue of his physical body, he could control astronomical forces.

The Void Dao!

Within the eyes of the eight Sages, Wei Wuyin had seemed to have changed species entirely. He didn't feel like a human or beast. Instead, they each had very different feelings that were unable to be properly described in words. If there was ever a feeling of viewing a descending divinity in the flesh, they felt it!

In fact, while they could observe Wei Wuyin with their senses, both physical and spiritual, they knew they could see him, hear him, and even notice various changes occurring to the world due to his extraordinary presence, but they couldn't seem to describe him or recall his appearance. It was as if they were observing a divinity that was unseen yet physically present. The sensation would be enough to shatter the Sea of Consciousness of any ordinary mortal, ruining their sense of reality forever.

Long ago, Wei Wuyin had observed the true appearance of Kratos' Astral Form, yet only briefly, and he was only capable of doing so due to his Celestial Eyes and Magi's lineage to observe Unseen Divinities. The True Dragon Bloodline Lineage was certainly a divine lineage!

While his journey across the galaxies hadn't yet yielded any results as to what a true divinity is and isn't, he knew they were primordial beings where all things descended from! And the Magi's lineage? Creation itself! They made all things except the most ancient beings of the universe!

At the moment, Wei Wuyin's form, all the way down to his cells, could be classified as partially divine. They simply couldn't properly observe it! In their eyes, he was simply boundlessly wondrous and fathomless!

Sage Khonshu's hysterical reaction was entirely justified!

Wei Wuyin slowly settled his seething bloodline.

Crawling out of the chasm that she was thrown into, Sage Pakhet observed Wei Wuyin for a moment with her hair loose and messy. A swift flash of incredible shock flitted across her eyes, but that was merely a flash.

Sage Pakhet's teeth were then savagely displayed as her face scowled. She gripped her khopesh tighter. Her will and spirit for battle remained unaffected! With the roar of a lioness, the others shook, and their hearts and focus returned to normalcy. She didn't hesitate to kick off violently on the ground she was flung into, inducing a thunderous boom as chaos erupted, and her body flew toward Wei Wuyin like a loose arrow ready to kill.

For the first time, Wei Wuyin felt Sage Pakhet's Sword Intent. A heaping load of admiration surged within his heart as her Heart of Cultivation and Spirit of Battle remained intact before his transformation, while the others were teetering on the verge of mental dissonance.

She dared to swing her sword!

Wei Wuyin would only respect such a decision! He would dare to meet her in battle! Then, he flexed his legs. The Void itself served as his platform, impressing a faint indent in time and space, and he vanished.

Sage Pakhet instantly lost sight of him. But her mind was remarkably fast, her instincts were incredibly honed, and her experience wasn't anything low, so she simply unleashed everything she had before her. Her slash sundered the sky, split the ground, sliced into time, pierced through space, and violently twisted all light. She didn't hold back!

She…hit nothing!

Wei Wuyin was behind her, directly standing back-to-back. His eyes stared at the Sages that watched Sage Pakhet unleash that world-ending strike fruitlessly. They all, without hesitation, sent transmissions to Sage Pakhet.

Amunet was slow to react, her mind still slightly reeling from viewing Wei Wuyin's newly transformed body, so her divinations had lagged. She immediately began to try and recalculate and adjust with greater strength when she felt a cold shiver down her spine. With urgent haste, she shot directly upwards like a missile!

'He's targeting me!'

She sent through their instantaneous soul network. Suddenly, as she was about to deploy evasive maneuvers, her eyes aglow with divination light began to shift, and she hurriedly sent.

'Khonshu, behind you!'

Then, her expression twisted slightly as a flash of pain surfaced. Khonshu was just about to prepare to assist Sage Amunet before he unleashed his Mystic Ward at full strength and shrouded his body in a burst of moonlight. He resembled a human-sized shining lunar satellite. The moonlight was incredibly condensed, thick enough to resist a blow from a Sage.

'NO! Nepit, he's shifting through space and will appear to your left within 300 mete—'

Sage Amunet paused her warning and instructions as the pain grew increasingly prominent and she halted her ascent. Her eyes grew cloudier than before, and her hazy figure was dissipating bit by bit.

'Sage Hathor is down! Save her!!'

She cried out with fear in her tone. The lofty Sage was sending out numerous messages, and those few were only the beginning. She kept sending more and more information causing the eight Sages to grow disorderly and confused.

This was especially so when she reported Sage Hathor being down when she was perfectly fine. Yet she activated her strongest defensive art just in case Wei Wuyin was going to unleash a decisive strike to bring her down. Her actions detracted from her duty of healing and supplying energy as she prioritized her own safety, as previously agreed upon.

Sage Amunet's eyes, nose, and ears began to bleed furiously like a broken spigot. Within a single second, she sent out a thousand messages of different divinations. Then, she held her head and roared so loudly that the entire world trembled!

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

Her scream was soul-piercing and every Sage felt a harsh string that caused their cultivation base to stall for a brief moment, overwhelmed by their connection.

"So that's how you're doing it,"

Wei Wuyin's voice was like a ghostly specter from Hell itself as it entered Sage Amunet's mind. It slithered within her Sea of Consciousness and seemed to pry, leaving a wisp of the Void in her mind. The Void was an unfathomable location that maintained the world's stability and contained vast, timeless, and expanseless information.

When Wei Wuyin traversed the void for the first time, he had accidentally observed a single air molecule's life and was overwhelmed by information to the point he would have gone insane if not for various factors. Information within the Void wasn't just actualized past but insubstantial future.

"So you're using them as focal points to conduct your divinations, avoiding my protections by observing what will specifically occur to them or the space around them, which they were allowing without hindrance. What a miraculously brilliant workaround. You're an astonishing woman."

Wei Wuyin's voice sounded like a hellish god in Sage Amunet's mind as she kept getting fed insubstantial futures.

"But there's a weakness it seems,"

Wei Wuyin remarked as he realized she was tethered intimately with their souls, unable to stop the flood of information. A very simple, almost irrelevant weakness. Unless…she faced someone like Wei Wuyin!

Unable to disconnect or withstand the eruption of information, Sage Amunet lost consciousness! Willingly! She began to fall to the ground as she saved her life by closing off that connection and her Sea of Consciousness went into an inactive state.

Meanwhile, Wei Wuyin was still standing behind Sage Pakhet.

After dealing with their divination specialist, it was time to deal with the rest.

Sage Pakhet sensed something behind her and spun. But she felt her hair get grabbed again! Without being able to react, she felt herself slam heavily into hardened earth as she penetrated the desert of the world into a solid crust.

BOOSH!

She had been thrown!

Wei Wuyin turned his focus onto Sage Hathor.
