Pampered by My Secret Husband
Chapter 1509 As Long as She's Okay...
Thomas Shannon’s thin lips pressed tightly, “Thank you for your trouble.”
Lucifer sneered without acknowledging, holding Snowball in one hand and leading William Westlake away with the other.
Snowball leaned in Uncle Lucifer’s embrace, her long eyelashes fluttering, “Uncle, where’s Mommy?”
“Mommy is resting in the bedroom. You’ll be able to see Mommy in a while.”
Leaning against the car door, smoking a cigarette, Thomas Shannon heard a voice in his wireless earpiece, and his tightly furrowed brow immediately relaxed.
Sophie Sullivan had indeed come back.
As long as she’s okay…
As long as she’s okay.
A big stone inside his heart suddenly dropped, instantly feeling much more relaxed.
Lucifer gently patted Snowball’s little head, “Snowball, did you hurt Mommy’s heart today?”
Snowball nodded with her eyes red, clutching Lucifer’s sleeve with her tiny hands.
Seeming uneasy, seeming nervous.
Oliver Westlake leaned his little head forward, his rosy little mouth pouting high, “Fairy, you have to apologize to Fennie, Fennie will forgive you.”
Snowball pressed her little mouth tightly, Oliver Westlake extended his hand and poked her cheek, “If you don’t apologize, Oliver Westlake won’t like you anymore.”
After speaking, Oliver Westlake snorted and returned to his seat.
Fennie is the most important, even more important than the fairy.
Uncle Lucifer had said that no one was allowed to bully Fennie, and Oliver Westlake hated anyone who bullied Fennie.
Even if it was the fairy, he would hate her too!
Snowball lowered her eyelids, her voice carrying the hoarseness of having cried, “I understand.”
Sophie had just lain down for a while when the bedroom door was knocked.
“Come in.”
Oliver Westlake was the first to run in, quickly climbing onto the bed, kneeling beside her, “Fennie, the fairy is here.”
“Hmm?” Sophie opened her eyes gently, just in time to see Lucifer carrying Snowball enter.
Snowball’s eyes were even more swollen, the tip of her nose red, and even her little mouth was brightly crimson from crying.
Sophie sat up, wanting to hold her, her hand reaching out and stiffening in the air for a few seconds, then retracted.
“Cecilia, Snowball wants to apologize to you.” Lucifer brought Snowball to the bedside.
Oliver Westlake nodded, “Yes!”
Sophie looked at Snowball, who nervously clutched Lucifer’s sleeve, glancing up at him uneasily.
Lucifer patted her back of hand gently, encouraging her, “Go ahead, Mommy will forgive you.”
Snowball finally left his embrace and came to Sophie, “Mommy… I’m sorry.”
Snowball imitated Oliver Westlake, kneeling beside her, tears in her eyes as she reached out and grabbed her finger.
That soft little hand tightly clutched one of her fingers, shaking it slightly in unease.
Carrying her nervousness and apprehension.
Her tiny cheek was full of a fearful expression, and Sophie could not bear it any longer, pulling her into an embrace.
“Mommy…”
“Snowball, will you not want Mommy anymore in the future?”
Snowball shook her head, softly saying, “I won’t.”
“Good girl.” Sophie kissed her cheek and held her face in her hands, bitterly saying, “Snowball, you must know that there’s no one in the world who loves you more than Mommy. Even though in the past three years Mommy wasn’t by your side, Mommy’s heart was always with you. In these past three years, day and night, Mommy has been thinking about you. Sometimes, Mommy would hate herself very much, hating herself for why she handed you over to Grandma back then. If Mommy hadn’t made the wrong decision, you wouldn’t have left Mommy for three years, and you wouldn’t have… not wanted Mommy…”
