Pampered by My Secret Husband

Chapter 1490 - 1492: Crying Over Such a Small Matter?

"William, now do you see who’s bullying whom?"

William furrowed his little brow, nodding his head.

He sighed like an old man, his tiny hand cupping Sophie Sullivan’s face, "Fennie, you can’t bully Daddy."

Went from calling him a bastard father to just Daddy.

Good job!

Sophie Sullivan got angry, William pouted his little mouth, softly kissed her cheek, "Fennie, are you mad?"

Thomas Shannon laughed from the side, "William, she allows the officials to start fires but doesn’t allow the commoners to light lamps."

"William doesn’t understand." William shook his head, looking bewildered.

"She can bully others, but others can’t even touch her with a fingertip."

William suddenly understood, letting out a long "Oh."

The phone ringtone broke the stalemate.

Thomas Shannon took out his mobile phone, glanced at the number, looked at Sophie Sullivan, answered the call, and walked away, "It’s me."

Sophie Sullivan took the opportunity to pinch William’s cheek, warning him, "Your father is a bad guy, don’t let him deceive you."

"What did Daddy deceive William about?"

"Anyway, don’t believe what he says."

William looked puzzled, so he simply leaned into Sophie Sullivan’s embrace, sleepily yawning, "Fennie, William wants to sleep."

"William, take a bath first, and then you can sleep, okay?"

William nodded obediently, Sophie Sullivan found him some clean clothes, and then went to the bath chamber to run water.

William was taking his bath inside the bath chamber by himself, while Sophie Sullivan left the room, preparing to shut the door while Thomas Shannon was away.

Preventing him from coming in and harassing the mother and son.

"President, there’s a bit of an issue at the film festival. My dress... Don’t know who cut it up."

The woman’s voice, tinged with tears, poured out through the phone.

Thomas Shannon stood at the doorway, slightly creased brow, "Why cry over such a small matter?"

"I just don’t know what to do..."

"Give me the hotel room number, and later I’ll have the designer urgently make a new set for you."

After hanging up the call, Thomas Shannon turned around and saw Sophie Sullivan standing with arms crossed in front of her chest, looking at him indifferently.

Thomas Shannon’s gaze swept across her shoulders, looking behind her, "Where’s William?"

"None of your business!" With that, Sophie Sullivan slammed the door in his face.

Sophie Sullivan regretted that she should not have returned personally.

She had long known that Thomas Shannon was not a good person. He might not only refuse to return Snowball to her but also try to take William.

This amnesia, it’s just an excuse!

Afraid she would pester him?

Ridiculous, she, Cecilia Branford, is not someone who can’t let go!

If he can start a new life, why would she remain stuck in the past?!

"Fennie, Fennie..."

Inside the bath chamber, William was calling her, prompting Sophie Sullivan to come back to her senses, "Mommy’s coming right away."

Midnight.

After William took his bath, he wasn’t sleepy anymore; he lay beside Sophie Sullivan, having just finished a video call with Uncle Lucifer.

Now, he was poking Sophie Sullivan’s cheek with his tiny hand, "Fennie, what are you thinking?"

Sophie Sullivan lowered her eyes, looking into William’s clear eyes, "William, do you miss Uncle Lucifer?"

"I do." William, since birth, was having the first time away from Uncle Lucifer for so long.

He shook Sophie Sullivan’s hand sadly, "Fennie, when are we going home? Uncle Lucifer must feel lonely without William to keep him company during dinner."

"We’ll return as soon as we can, okay?"
