Let’s wait until he has time to talk.

Sophie Sullivan chose to stay at the same hotel as Liam Donald, though they were on different floors.

Back in the suite, Sophie immediately enlisted help to investigate together with Liam and find evidence.

It’s one thing for Thomas Shannon to bully her, but she won’t let innocent Liam be bullied as well.

Liam didn’t do anything, yet was inexplicably implicated by her. Sophie knows he’s merely a designer passionate about design. Plagiarism is almost a devastating stain for an original designer.

The next day, Liam was having breakfast in the hotel restaurant.

Sophie appeared uninvited and sat opposite him. Liam stared at the suddenly appearing woman, bewildered for a moment. Sophie furrowed her brow, "Liam, don’t look at me like I’m a stranger. I’m your fiancée."

"Ah, it’s Miss Cecilia Branford." Liam nodded politely, "Good morning."

Sophie was in no mood for pleasantries, tossing the file holder in her hand onto the tabletop.

Liam put down his knife and fork, picked up a napkin, and elegantly wiped the corner of his mouth, "What does Miss Cecilia Branford mean by this?"

Sophie leaned back in her chair, raising an eyebrow, "Open it and see."

Liam complied, taking out some documents and a USB drive from the file holder.

His gaze landed on the documents, scanning them briefly. Liam’s thin lips pursed slightly, "How did you know I needed these?"

"I know you’ve been wronged. These days, you must have spent quite some effort trying to find this evidence, right?"

Unfortunately, Thomas Shannon is always thorough in his actions.

The evidence she managed to find included a surveillance video yet to be destroyed.

Though it couldn’t fully prove innocence, it at least cleared the suspicion of Liam’s plagiarism.

The clouds hanging over him for days finally dispersed.

Liam put the documents back into the file holder, grasping it gently, and whispered his thanks, "Thank you."

"You’re welcome." Sophie muttered, "Anyway, it’s what I owe you."

Liam smiled and asked, "What are you talking about?"

Sophie came back to herself, looking at Liam’s ascetic-looking face, and sighed almost inaudibly, "Nothing, do you have some time now? We need to talk."

After helping her so much, he does have time.

Liam nodded, "What do you want to talk about?"

"Let’s talk about our engagement..."

When Isabel impersonated her, she wanted to bring the wedding date forward. After Isabel’s mishap, she had someone relay to postpone the wedding date.

Now, she wants to tell him face to face that she wants to dissolve their engagement.

At that time, he was the first man she fancied and wanted as her husband.

Who would have expected things to turn out this way?

No one would have imagined the distinguished Miss Cecilia Branford would endure such trials, nor could anyone have foreseen her encounter with Thomas Shannon after weathering hardships.

Sophie supported her chin with her hand, her eyelids lowered, reflecting that maybe this is fate.

She likes Liam, loves him but can’t have him, and Thomas Shannon likes her, yet suffers from her torment.

Thinking this way, Thomas Shannon’s situation seems rather unfortunate.

Liam maintained a gentle smile, "What’s wrong with our engagement?"

"Liam, I came to see you to actually end..."

"Young Master, bad news!"

At that moment, the secretary rushed towards Liam, panic-stricken, "Young Master, there’s been an explosion at the manor!"

Liam’s face turned pale in horror, in a hurry.
