Pampered by My Secret Husband

Chapter 1195 - 1197: Just an Irrelevant Person, You Don’t Need to Know

Rushing out of the basement, she pulled out her mobile phone to call Thomas Shannon.

"Brother Shannon, where did you lock her up?"

Thomas Shannon closed his eyes, his voice cold and emotionless, "Cheryl, just an insignificant person, no need for you to know."

"But..."

"Cheryl, if you’re tired, just quit your job. I’ll send you on a vacation to relax."

Cheryl Chew shook her head, she wasn’t tired, she wasn’t.

"Alright, I have to attend to some matters. Cheryl, listen and be obedient, okay?"

Obedient?

Cheryl Chew didn’t know why, but her heart was aching, the pain almost suffocating.

She gradually crouched down, hugging herself, a whimpering sound emerging from her throat, like an abandoned kitty, pitiful and heartbreaking.

The man in black watching couldn’t help but feel compassion.

Cheryl Chew was no fool, with Raina Bell being taken away at this time, that alone was enough to indicate a problem.

Thomas Shannon didn’t want her to see Raina Bell, why was a question she desperately wanted to answer.

After crying for a while, she lifted her head, looking at the man in black, "Can you tell me where Raina is?"

"Miss Fit, that is not possible." The man in black looked troubled, it wasn’t that they refused to say, but the young master had already given the order not to speak.

Cheryl Chew sniffed, standing up, "Then can you tell me if Raina is still inside manor?"

"..."

"Nod for yes, shake your head for no, you said nothing, and I know nothing, okay?" Cheryl Chew clasped her hands together, pleading.

The man in black silently nodded.

Cheryl Chew broke into a smile, "Thank you!"

She wasn’t too familiar with the manor, but finding someone shouldn’t be difficult, as long as she was willing to spend the length of time.

Thomas Shannon hung up the phone, rubbing his forehead with one hand, Charlie River was undecided and asked, "Young Master, head to Golden Wing Palace or the company now?"

"Company."

"Yes."

The black Lincoln fleet drove toward K Group Headquarters.

Golden Wing Palace, inside the suite.

Sophie Sullivan lay on the sofa, thankful that Thomas Shannon hadn’t taken Harry away. Now, this chubby and round little fellow could still keep her company.

"Meow." Harry rolled over, pouncing again, persistently burrowing into her embrace.

Sophie picked Harry up with one hand, poking its tip of the nose, "Harry, no being a rascal."

"Meow!" Harry howled.

"Tsk." Sophie shook her head, "Truly, whatever kind of master, leads to whatever kind of pet."

Harry continued to act spoiled and cute, trying to burrow into her embrace, held back by her grasping its neck.

Sophie sat up, stuffed Harry into her embrace, and patted its head, "Harry, do you think your master will come back today?"

"Meow."

"No?"

"Meow."

Sophie was taken aback, feeling she was truly crazy, asking Harry, what kind of answer could Harry give her.

It’s just as well Thomas Shannon is not here. With him absent, at least there’s no interaction with Andres.

Avoiding interaction with Andres meant she didn’t have to worry about that batch of arms.

In the evening, Thomas Shannon looked at his mobile phone, not a single call or text message.

He put down the pen he had been signing with, chuckled to himself, believing he thought too much.

Why would Sophie Sullivan call him? She’s that carefree fellow, happy when he’s not around.

Leaving K Group Headquarters, Thomas Shannon returned to Golden Wing Palace.

The suite door opened, and he surveyed around, finding no one in the living room.

Returning to the bedroom, he discovered the bath chamber door was tightly closed.
