Chapter 388: A Visual Feast! South China Tiger Successfully Rescued!

  • Next Chapter

Ning Fei's live broadcast could only be described as a visual feast!

Bare-chested, he cleared away the rocks that had piled up over three meters high, piece by piece.

Several of the massive boulders would have normally required multiple large men to move, yet he easily hefted them and tossed them aside.

The viewers watched in awe as Ning Fei performed feats fit for an immortal.

Gradually, the pile of rubble at the entrance shrank. After a little more clearing, a South China tiger finally managed to poke its head out from the Mountain Cave below.

The cave wasn't large, making it a tight squeeze for the two South China tigers.

However, managing to avoid being crushed by the falling boulders was a stroke of incredible luck amidst the disaster.

Seeing Da Qun spurred Ning Fei to work even faster, and he finally cleared a wide enough space at the entrance to the Mountain Cave.

Da Qun crawled out of the Mountain Cave looking thoroughly battered. The beast limped heavily, clearly suffering from severe injuries.

The female South China tiger was in slightly better condition, though she still seemed unsteady on her paws.

Seeing them in such a state made Ning Fei's heart ache.

"Come this way. Move a bit farther from here, more rocks might fall down the mountain."

Ning Fei murmured, stroking Da Qun as he led the two South China tigers out of the immediate danger zone.

The viewers were overjoyed.

Ever since Ning Fei began tracking them, everyone had been deeply concerned about the South China tigers' safety.

Now, seeing the two majestic beasts successfully escape danger, the chat erupted in cheers.

"Great, the South China tigers are saved!"

"We really have to thank Temple Master Ning. If it wasn't for him, the consequences would be unimaginable."

"Yeah, who would have thought something like this could happen."

Upon seeing Ning Fei, Da Qun acted extremely affectionately toward him. It continuously rubbed its massive head against Ning Fei's body, just like a little kitten nuzzling its owner.

The man and the two tigers moved to a safe area nearby. The tigers lay down while Ning Fei carefully examined their injuries.

"One of Da Qun's front paws is sprained, and it also suffered some internal trauma. Coupled with running for so long, the injuries have worsened."

"The female tiger is in better shape. If my guess is right, when the transport truck flipped over, Da Qun was underneath and used its body to cushion her. That's why her injuries aren't as severe."

He then lightly patted the large tiger's head, speaking with a mix of heartache and relief, "I thought all you did was chase butterflies. Who knew you were such a tough guy!"

Afterward, Ning Fei turned the drone's camera away and activated the skill of the Zouwu Hand Beads.

He had been wearing a string of beads on his wrist this whole time—the very same Zouwu Hand Beads he had won from the lottery draw.

The Zouwu Hand Beads carried a built-in skill for healing animals, capable of accelerating their physical recovery.

As Ning Fei applied the treatment, the two South China tigers visibly relaxed, their pain easing significantly.

Da Qun also felt much more comfortable.

The large tiger had been suffering from some internal bleeding, but this treatment completely cleared all the bruised blood from its body.

"Roar!"

Da Qun was delighted. It let out a few low growls toward Ning Fei, the sound gentle—almost as if it were thanking him, yet also pleading for something else.

"You want to find Little Qun? Shall I help you look for him?"

Ning Fei asked with a smile.

He then blew a sharp whistle, and the Little falcon swooped down in response.

"Little falcon, go search the mountains. Can you find out where Little Qun is?"

Hearing Ning Fei's command, the Little falcon immediately shot back into the sky to begin its search.

It was a beautiful scene.

"The Little falcon is such a hard worker!"

"Did you think Qingfeng Temple's number one sword-bearing guard was just a joke?"

"That bird has been with Temple Master Ning the longest!"

"I can't believe this happened as soon as he returned to Qingfeng Temple. So thrilling!"

"It's finally over!"

Ning Fei and the two South China tigers rested in place for a while. It was obvious the tigers were desperate to find their cub, so they soon set off on the journey back, heading straight toward Tiger Mountain.

It wasn't long before the Little falcon flew back.

This time, it had successfully located Little Qun and relayed the position to Ning Fei.

It turned out that after the two adult tigers were taken away by humans for medical treatment, Little Qun had fled deeper into the mountains out of fear.

Over the past month, Little Qun had endured a great deal of hardship.

"It's still that far away?"

Ning Fei sighed in surprise after listening to the Little falcon's cries.

However, he quickly added, "Well, since we're already out here, we definitely have to go find him."

With that, Ning Fei and the two massive tigers continued their trek forward.

The drone rose high into the air, filming the scene from the front.

In the frame, Ning Fei walked right in the center, flanked on either side by a robust, muscular South China tiger.

The two majestic beasts looked exactly like his personal bodyguards.

It was an incredibly cool sight, radiating an imposing aura.

After all, it wasn't every day you saw someone walking with two South China tigers as their escort.

The viewers marveled endlessly at the spectacle.

At the same time, the Little falcon flew back into the deep mountains to seek out Little Qun.

At this very moment, Little Qun was lying in the tall grass, dozing in the sunlight. For a tiger cub, the past month had been its first true taste of independence.

It had grown a lot, but it had also suffered many injuries along the way.

Just then, Little Qun heard the sudden flapping of wings nearby.

The cub immediately sprang to its feet and lowered its body into a crouch, ready to pounce and attack.

Over the past few weeks, it had been mimicking Da Qun's hunting methods, gradually learning how to hunt for itself.

Then, it saw a large white bird land before it. The bird looked familiar, and its gaze was incredibly calm and composed.

The Little falcon remained completely aloof, even though it could tell the tiger cub's immediate instinct was to attack.

To the Little falcon, even if Little Qun really did lunge, it could easily dodge the strike, so it wasn't the least bit nervous.

A moment later, the tiger cub recognized the Little falcon. It was the white bird that was always by Ning Fei's side!

"Roar!"

"Screech~"

The Little falcon and Little Qun exchanged a brief greeting. Then, the bird of prey and the fierce beast set off together toward Ning Fei's location.

The Little falcon led the way in the air while Little Qun trailed behind on the ground.

It was a rare sight to behold.

The distance was indeed vast.

As they walked, evening began to fall.

Time ticked by. The surrounding scenery constantly shifted, transitioning from a camphor forest to a lush bamboo grove, and finally opening up into a flat grassy meadow.

The sky darkened. The night air was heavy with moisture, and a dense fog slowly began to roll in.

Dew gathered on Ning Fei's clothes, leaving his face feeling damp.

The two South China tigers continued to march silently by his side.

Finally, at that moment, the Little falcon's loud, high-pitched cry suddenly pierced the sky.

The sharp call rang out like thunder in the night, tearing clearly through the silence.

Hearing the cry, Ning Fei smiled.

"We're almost there. He's just ahead."

The viewers instantly perked up, staring intently at the screen.

The two adult South China tigers also grew visibly excited.

After taking a few more steps, sure enough, the little South China tiger came bounding out of the nearby woods, its robust little body rushing straight toward them.

The moment it appeared, the two adult tigers instantly broke into a sprint.

The South China tiger family's reunion was a truly heartwarming sight.

Standing off to the side, Ning Fei watched them with a soft chuckle.

The viewers cheered in the comments as well.

Witnessing something so beautiful couldn't help but bring joy to everyone watching.

"They're finally reunited!"

"Temple Master Ning is simply incredible. He went out to rescue the tigers this morning, and now it's already night. He hasn't eaten a single bite of food or taken a single sip of water."

"To him, seeing this outcome is the only thing that matters!"

"Temple Master Ning's Realm truly isn't something ordinary people can reach."

"Look at Da Qun's family, they look so happy."

"Yeah, just seeing them makes me feel better."

"Sending a rocket! Temple Master Ning, buy some meat for Da Qun to eat."

The chat was ablaze with enthusiastic discussions.

Ning Fei then walked over, grasped Little Qun, and scooped the cub up into his arms.

Having not seen it for so long, the tiger cub had noticeably thinned out. It had clearly endured a fair share of hardships.

If this were turned into an animated movie, it would probably be another classic like "The Little Tiger's Journey Home".

"We finally found you."

"I'm just glad you're safe,"

Ning Fei said with a warm smile.

The two adult tigers stood beside them, appearing completely at ease.

This picture of humanity and the South China tigers coexisting in perfect harmony etched itself into the viewers' hearts as an unforgettable memory.
