Chapter 369: The Frying Pan Really Is a Divine Artifact!

  • Next Chapter

"Did Temple Master Ning just say he's going to eat this Golden King Crab King himself?"

"He isn't selling a crab worth one million, but eating it himself?"

"I must have heard wrong."

"I think that's what he said."

The bullet comments surged once more.

The netizens couldn't understand.

If he sold this Golden King Crab King, he could buy at least ten thousand ordinary golden king crabs.

Wouldn't that be a better deal?

To Ning Fei, however, he could already afford ten thousand golden king crabs anyway.

Meanwhile, this was the only king crab he had caught with his own two hands.

Simply put, he wasn't lacking money.

Furthermore, a Golden King Crab King of this size definitely had a unique constitution, and its meat would absolutely be of the highest quality.

The taste of an ordinary king crab couldn't even compare to it.

Ning Fei saw the flurry of comments dissuading him. Everyone was urging him to sell it, and a few big shots even reminded him that this crab's collection value far exceeded its culinary value.

In response, Ning Fei didn't bother explaining much.

He was a man with a mind of his own and wouldn't change his views just because of others' opinions.

"Thank you all for your support."

"But I still plan to eat this king crab myself."

"Tonight, we're having steamed king crab!" Ning Fei spoke softly as he looked into the live stream camera.

He looked the same as always—calm and breezy. The occasional smile on his face made him seem entirely removed from worldly affairs.

Little Dog barked at an inopportune moment. Looking at the massive crab in the cage, it unconsciously grew cautious.

That king crab was used to throwing its weight around on the seabed. Upon seeing Little Dog, it actually tried to attack the puppy, looking exceptionally fierce.

Ning Fei looked at the massive crab in the crab pot without another word and stepped forward to handle it.

This scene looked somewhat terrifying.

Because the king crab was incredibly frightening to behold. Each of its legs was nearly a meter long, making it look like a sea monster that shouldn't exist in this world.

If someone were attacked by it, their life would likely be in danger.

Ning Fei, however, felt nothing in particular.

This king crab was indeed fierce. Upon spotting Ning Fei, its restless legs struck out toward him.

The king crab's shell was covered entirely in barbs.

An ordinary person would likely be unable to withstand a single blow from legs like those.

Wielding two short steel rods, Ning Fei easily pinned the king crab's legs down. Then, with a single strike to the crab's head, he knocked it unconscious.

Witnessing this scene, the netizens didn't know what to say for a moment.

What they had just seen was Ning Fei slowly approach this terrifying king crab and effortlessly subdue it.

He made it look as easy as subduing a little river crab.

"Gulp."

The netizens swallowed hard, and the bullet screen was once again filled with sounds of praise.

"A live king crab tastes much better than a frozen one. The meat of a frozen crab is too tough and lacks umami, which means it loses the essence of the crab."

"First, I need to find a pot big enough to hold this thing."

After subduing the king crab, Ning Fei pondered for a moment.

He really didn't have any suitable cookware on hand.

"Captain Liu, do you have a large pot?" Ning Fei asked Liu Ming over the walkie-talkie.

"I do. We usually like to stir-fry a bunch of seafood together, so we have a huge pot. I'll lend it to you!" Liu Ming replied.

Afterward, the two boats drew near and sailed side by side. There was a special plank on board for crossing between ships; Liu Ming lowered it, and Ning Fei walked over. Then, carrying a massive iron pot by its side handle with just one hand, he breezed right back onto his own boat.

"Captain Liu, thanks a lot," Ning Fei expressed his gratitude.

"You're welcome," Liu Ming hurriedly replied.

That large iron pot weighed roughly several dozen jin. Moreover, because it was so large, it usually took two people to move it comfortably.

Yet watching Ning Fei now, he was carrying the iron pot in one hand as if it were nothing at all.

Liu Ming could only mutter silently to himself, 'Truly a god of a man.'

Seeing that Ning Fei had procured an iron pot, the netizens clicked their tongues in praise.

Compared to selling the crab, it was obvious that many people were much more eager to watch Ning Fei eat it.

"Temple Master Ning is so domineering!"

"A crab worth one million! I'm afraid I'll never have the chance to eat something like that in my entire life!"

"He can afford a cruise ship; do you really think he cares about the price of one crab?"

"So this is the world of the ultra-rich!"

"Temple Master Ning, don't throw away the crab legs after you're done eating. Let me suck on them for a bit!"

"Suck on what? Go suck a dick!"

The pot was ready, but he still lacked the materials to start a fire.

Inside the Qingfeng Cruise Ship, there was a dedicated kitchen fully equipped with cooking utensils.

Ning Fei brought the large iron pot inside; it looked completely out of place with the kitchen's style.

The drone followed him into the kitchen as well.

The kitchen was very spacious and featured a specialized gas-powered stove. The pot could be placed on it, even though more than half of it hung over the edge.

"I can boil it like this, though it'll take a bit longer."

Ning Fei added fresh water to the pot, turned on the stove, lit the fire, and slowly began heating the massive pot.

Afterward, he stepped outside, opened the crab pot, and found a thin rope to tie up all the king crab's legs, binding it into a tight ball.

"Good lord, it's quite heavy."

Ning Fei lifted the king crab and headed toward the kitchen.

This sight made everyone's hearts pound with anxiety.

"I thought the king crab was already terrifying enough, right up until I saw Temple Master Ning."

"How is it that a sea monster like this looks like a mere toy in front of Temple Master Ning?"

"Fucking badass!"

"I'm a dignified immortal; what's wrong with me eating a sea monster?!"

"Perhaps truly only an immortal can eat something like this."

Everyone continued to exclaim in shock.

After waiting for a while, bubbles finally began to rise in the iron pot, indicating that the water was about to boil.

Ning Fei hurriedly chopped up some scallions, ginger, and other seasonings and tossed them in.

Then, he placed the entire king crab into the pot and found a large wooden plank to act as a lid, covering the pot.

This flurry of actions fully satisfied the netizens' craving for a spectacle.

However, just as everyone finally breathed a sigh of relief, something unexpected happened again.

With a loud bang, the wooden plank on the pot was violently shoved up. Surprisingly, the king crab had regained consciousness and immediately broke free from the pot.

When the king crab was curled up, it didn't seem quite that large.

But when it fully extended its limbs, the netizens realized that this Golden King Crab King was even more terrifying than they had imagined!

"My god! It got out!"

"So scary! Temple Master Ning, run!"

"Holy fuck! Scared the shit out of me!"

The netizens instantly broke into a series of panicked shouts.

In the very next second, however, Ning Fei casually retrieved a cooking utensil from the nearby secured cabinet. That utensil just so happened to be a handy frying pan.

Then, as the crowd of netizens watched in stunned silence, Ning Fei took two steps toward the Golden King Crab King that had just escaped the pot, and smashed the frying pan squarely on the top of its head.

The king crab had been entirely focused on its escape, only for its vision to suddenly go black as it lost consciousness once again.

"Trying to run, huh?" Ning Fei muttered before repositioning the king crab and tossing it back into the iron pot.

The sequence of events completely exceeded the netizens' expectations.

One netizen couldn't help but sigh in awe:

"The frying pan really is a divine artifact!"
