Chapter 365: Sanya Port, A Beautiful Harbor

  • Next Chapter

Out on the sea, after enjoying a full game of beach volleyball, Ning Fei noticed Little Dog watching them eagerly from the side.

This little guy only knew how to doggy paddle. He swam too slowly, making water sports unsuitable for him.

Seeing Little Dog's expression, Ning Fei let out a happy laugh.

"Sorry you had to sit this out."

"Tell you what, I'll let you experience what it feels like to fly."

Ning Fei possessed a skill called Thought Transmission. It allowed him to communicate with his own pets and other animals within a certain range.

Essentially, he could converse with animals using a language they understood.

Of course, animals with low intelligence still generally couldn't understand him and wouldn't react.

But dolphins were different. They were highly intelligent.

"Xiao Tun, take Little Dog for a spin."

After playing with the dolphins for a while, Ning Fei had already come up with a name for them.

He called them all Xiao Tun.

The netizens didn't even have the energy to complain about his naming sense.

As soon as Ning Fei spoke, everyone watched in surprise as a dolphin proactively swam beneath Little Dog and hoisted the puppy onto its back.

Little Dog panicked for a brief second, but once the dolphin started swimming forward, he opened his mouth, letting his tongue flap in the wind. He squinted his eyes, looking absolutely delighted.

Another dolphin approached Ning Fei and lifted him up as well.

Dolphins were among the fastest swimmers in the ocean.

Even while carrying a person, the natural buoyancy of the ocean meant the dolphin only needed to overcome the water's resistance, which barely took any effort at all.

Gripping the dolphin's back lightly, Ning Fei rode it as it sprinted across the open sea.

"My god! Temple Master Ning is riding a dolphin?"

"Awesome! That looks so cool!"

"Good lord, Little Dog is doing it too!"

"What kind of godly treatment is this!"

"I'm so incredibly jealous!"

"Woof, woof, woof!"

Right then, Little Dog barked a few times from beside Ning Fei.

Hearing the barks, Ning Fei burst into hearty laughter. He rarely laughed so happily.

"You little rascal, you want to race me?"

"Woof!"

"When your dad, Da Huang, went night running with me back in the day, he always lost. I can't believe you're copying him and trying to race me!"

"Woof woof!"

Refusing to concede, Little Dog barked back.

This scene completely amused the viewers.

"To be honest, I remember that night run. I think Temple Master Ning actually lost to Da Huang."

"Hahaha, I remember now! I even sent a comment back then saying Temple Master Ning lost to a dog!"

"That really happened? That's hilarious. It's a shame I started following Temple Master Ning so late. I missed out on so much."

"Temple Master Ning is too wicked, actually tricking Little Dog like that."

"Little Dog, don't believe him! That night, Da Huang beat Temple Master Ning back to Qingfeng Temple!"

"Yeah, back then Little falcon was still just a chick. I remember he came in dead last and flew back much later, cursing up a storm."

"Now Little falcon is definitely the fastest at Qingfeng Temple. His natural growth has been the most obvious!"

The chat room was lively as everyone gossiped.

The atmosphere in the stream was wonderful.

"Xiao Tun, let's have a race! We'll see who can reach the cruise ship first!"

"Both of you listen for my command. When I say 'go,' swim toward the ship at the exact same time!"

Ning Fei said with great enthusiasm.

Understanding his words, the two dolphins stopped simultaneously and turned to face the Qingfeng Cruise Ship.

Little Dog wagged his tail, looking like he wanted to give his dolphin an extra boost of speed.

Truth be told, this race had very little to do with Little Dog or Ning Fei.

The ones actually competing were the two dolphins.

Yet, to the viewers, it felt as though the man and the dog were the true competitors.

"On your marks, get set..."

"Go!"

At Ning Fei's command, the two dolphins instantly surged toward the Qingfeng Cruise Ship.

At first, the two were neck and neck.

However, because Ning Fei was much heavier, the dolphin carrying Little Dog eventually proved to be faster.

Clinging to his dolphin's back, Little Dog crossed the finish line first.

Ning Fei arrived shortly after.

"Woof woof!"

Little Dog barked happily.

Hearing his triumphant barks, Ning Fei could only shake his head in helpless amusement.

A cheerful atmosphere similarly filled the barrage.

The screen was completely flooded with comments.

Having played long enough, Ning Fei called out to Little Dog, waved goodbye to the dolphins, and boarded the ship to rest.

The dolphins leaped and dove continuously around the cruise ship, creating a beautiful scene.

Another day passed. The food supplies on the ship were nearly depleted, and Ning Fei had thoroughly enjoyed this trip out to sea.

Therefore, he needed to find a port to restock his supplies.

The location Ning Fei chose was Sanya Port.

He set the coordinates and headed straight for Sanya Port.

"Sanya Port, historically known as Linchuan Port, has been a famous salt and fish port since ancient times."

"This port has witnessed Sanya's dramatic transformation from a small harbor in the South China Sea into a world-class coastal tourism city."

Ning Fei wasn't too far from the port. After sailing for just half a day, the distant coastline gradually came into view.

"Sanya Port is fog-free year-round, offering clear visibility that makes it very suitable for ships to dock."

"Look, everyone. That is Sanya Port right there."

Ning Fei said softly as he stood at the bow of the ship, letting the sea breeze blow against him.

The netizens followed the drone's camera angle.

Not far away, a modernized port gradually appeared on the livestream screen.

The port had a concave shape, and the vast majority of its buildings were painted white.

It was packed with all sorts of white yachts, fishing boats, and other vessels.

It looked much like a parking lot. Every ship was docked in its own berth, sitting very close to one another yet completely orderly.

Seeing so many ships docked together made for a spectacular sight.

"What a beautiful port."

"Yeah, this scene is absolutely gorgeous."

"As someone from inland, I have to say I've never seen a port like this before."

"I've been to a seaport before, and it looked exactly like the container docks in PUBG, but I've never seen a yacht harbor like this."

"With so many boats, there sure are a lot of rich people."

"This is Sanya, an international tourist city. There's bound to be plenty of wealthy folks."

Everyone watched as the Qingfeng Cruise Ship slowly sailed into the port.

After going through some routine inspections, Ning Fei parked his ship in one of the berths.

The port staff managed to get a photo with Ning Fei, looking incredibly happy about it.

Ning Fei stepped off the ship.

He had booked his accommodation in advance.

He didn't mind where he stayed, of course, but the key was that he had a bunch of little guys with him.

Because of this, a very amusing scene unfolded next.

Ning Fei walked in front, trailed by Little Dog, Little Fox, Little Fei, and the three Xiao Heijiu. Meanwhile, Xiao Feng and Little falcon flew in the sky above.

This massive group of adorable pets acted as his entourage.

"It's Temple Master Ning!"

Someone exclaimed in surprise.

Leading the little ones, Ning Fei was worried about being surrounded by a crowd. As soon as he left the port, he quickly found a driver and headed straight for his destination.

The driver recognized Ning Fei and was thrilled to be hauling a car full of little animals.

Later, right before Ning Fei left, the driver even took a group photo with him and the animals of Qingfeng Temple.

Afterward, the driver placed the photo in his car and bragged to anyone he met, boasting about how he had once driven an immortal Taoist priest and going on about how incredibly beautiful that white fox was.

The place Ning Fei was staying at was a holiday hotel. The hotel allowed pets, which was exactly why he had chosen it.

Moreover, the hotel was very close to a fishing village, which Ning Fei planned to visit the next day.

A fishing village in this modern era would be completely different from how they were in the past.
