Viper stood in the quiet tailoring hall, looking down at the heavy, leather-bound book on the wooden table. The faint outline of a threaded needle stamped into the hide seemed to pull at him.

[Kruger's Rare Book]

[Rating: Legendary]

[This is a book that contains the techniques of Kruger, the tailor who transcended human limits. The person who opens the book can become a legendary tailor.

- Become Kruger's Successor.

- The level and stats will change when used. ]

[Conditions: None.]

He didn't hesitate. He reached out and placed his hand flat against the cover, pulling it open.

A massive cascade of system prompts overwrote his vision. The quiet room flooded with brilliant golden light.

[You have become Kruger's Successor.]

[Your level has dropped.]

[You are now level 1.]

[All skills and stats that have been obtained due to your class have been reset.]

Viper didn't feel a trace of panic as his level fell to one. The Guildmaster, Rudra, had already warned the entire Genesis Guild that this exact thing happened when he gained his own Legendary class. Viper fully expected the reset. In fact, he even welcomed it so he can correct the mistakes that he made in his original setup.

The golden light faded slowly. Viper blinked, letting his eyes adjust to the normal lighting of the workshop. He felt different. His body was lighter, yet somehow much more grounded.

He opened his status window.

[Strength: 478 | Stamina: 478]

[Dexterity: 1278 | Persistence: 102]

[Composure: 10 | Indomitable: 10]

[Dignity: 10 | Insight: 10]

[Stat Points: 0]

Viper stared at the numbers. A quiet, profound satisfaction settled into his chest.

Because of the hundreds of items he had crafted over his career, and the massive bursts of stats from the trials, his base attributes had not reset. He was a Level 1 player walking around with over twelve hundred Dexterity and nearly five hundred points in his core physical traits. He had a completely clean slate to build an objectively perfect stat distribution from the ground up.

"You hold his tailoring legacy now," the Phantom Cloth said, drifting toward the painted window. "The tools are yours to master."

Viper closed his status window. "Thank you."

"Before you leave," the Phantom added, its voice fading slightly as the room began to dim. "My creator was not just a man who sat in a chair. He fought for his materials. If you wish to learn his killer needles, seek out Blackrock Canyon. The answers are buried in the stone."

Ding.

A massive wall of golden text suddenly overwrote Viper's vision, far larger than any standard quest prompt he had ever seen.

[The quest ‘Kruger's Successor’ has been created.]

[Kruger's Successor]

[Difficulty: Class quest.]

[You have certainly been given Kruger's tailor skills, but do you know exactly who Kruger is? Can you proudly and confidently carry out his will?

Who is Kruger? If he were simply a tailor with good skills, his legend wouldn’t be scattered across the continent.

First, start with the clue of the needles that can bring down even the strongest of the warriors and follow Kruger's legend. If you can collect all of the legends, you will truly understand Kruger and be the successor to his will.

At that moment, a new legend will be born.

* There is no time limit for this class quest.

* If you accept the class quest of a legendary class, you can’t change your class again.

* The legendary class quest has the power to transform Satisfy’s world, according to the result.

Class Quest Clear Conditions: Complete all linked quests successfully.

Class Quest Clear Reward: Unknown.]

[First Class Quest: Kruger's Needle Art.]

[It was said that the Kruger's needles can control armies. This may be a clue to Kruger's Needle Art, which wasn’t described in Kruger's rare book.]

[First Class Quest Clear Condition: Learn Kruger's Needle Art.]

[First Class Quest Clear Reward: ?.]

[Quest is in progress.]

Viper read through the lines twice.

He had joined the Genesis Guild specifically because a production class couldn't fight monsters. He had needed Red and Haster to act as his shield just to walk into a high-level zone without dying. But he stared at the words needles that can control armies. The system wasn't just giving him a crafting class. It was handing him the blueprint for a one-man war.

He also noted the warning about transforming the world. He knew better than to ignore the fine print. This wasn't a simple fetch quest; it was a massive storyline that would likely drag the entire continent into a political mess.

Viper nodded slowly, filing the Blackrock Canyon location away in his memory. He had never considered himself much of a fighter, but between his massive new base stats and this questline, that was clearly going to change.

The tattered cloth suddenly shot across the room. Before Viper could react, the fabric expanded and wrapped violently around his entire body.

The pristine tailoring hall vanished in a flash of grey light.
