You start to rise from your chair when Erza intercepts you smoothly, her hand pressing against your shoulder with gentle insistence. The strapless server's outfit she's wearing draws your attention immediately - bright fabric hugging her curves, scooped neckline revealing considerable cleavage, short skirt ending mid-thigh.

"You're eating first," Erza states firmly, guiding you back down. "No arguments."

Musashi appears from your left carrying a plate laden with scrambled eggs, crispy bacon strips, and golden toast. She sets it before you with precise motion, silver-pink hair catching the fluorescent light. "Fuel before work," she says simply.

Nova materializes beside the table in her midnight gray bikini, blond hair tied back in a high ponytail. "And you're opening portals for the jet skis after breakfast," she adds matter-of-factly. "We've been waiting patiently."

You chuckle, picking up your fork. "Thank you all. I appreciate the intervention."

Across the table, Robin flips something in a pan while discussing ingredient ratios with Violet. The blonde woman nods thoughtfully, taking notes on a small pad. Maria moves between them carrying fresh juice containers, violet eyes bright.

Kurumi sits in the corner sipping tea, heterochromatic gaze tracking movements throughout the galley with lazy satisfaction. Rin gestures emphatically at something, earning an amused smile from the time spirit.

Albedo watches from her position near the wall, white dress pristine, golden eyes half-lidded. Hinata serves tea to Bulma at the far end of the table, miniskirt swishing as she moves. The blue-haired inventor barely looks up from the disassembled device spread before her.

"Pass the salt," Nami requests from Sango, who sits beside her reviewing what appears to be a checklist. The demon slayer slides the shaker across without interrupting her reading.

Asia emerges from the kitchen area carrying a tray of fresh fruit, modified habit revealing her legs as she walks. She places it on the central serving station with care before returning for more supplies.

Yoruichi stretches in her chair, athletic wear emphasizing her athletic build. "Someone's popular this morning," she observes with teasing grin directed at you.

"The only man on a ship full of fantastical women, there's only one option for me, make you all happy." You reply with a smirk.

Mikasa stands near the entrance, dark eyes scanning the room methodically. Her button-up shirt and hot pants somehow both practical and attention-grabbing.

Rika comments something to herself from her table of equipment. She adjusts something on her tactical vest before returning focus to the screens.

You take a bite of eggs, savoring the flavor while observing the organized chaos around you. Twenty-three extraordinary women moving through their morning routines with comfortable coordination.

You finish the last bite of toast, nodding appreciatively toward Robin and Violet at the stove. "Excellent cooking, both of you."

Robin glances over her shoulder with calm smile. "Glad you enjoyed it."

Collecting your plate to deposit in the washing station before heading through the corridor toward the well deck. The metallic clang of your steps echo off steel walls as you descend two levels. At the well deck entrance, you pause to survey the empty space - a vast chamber designed for amphibious operations, currently sealed from the ocean.

You extend your hand toward the center, channeling mana through the network. The Gate activates smoothly, golden light tracing a perfect circle eight feet in diameter. You turn toward the forward wall, opening a second Gate a small gap above floor level. Water pressure flows and equalizes instantly as seawater begins flowing through the portals, creating a steady continuous stream that crosses the loading deck.

The jet ski riders appear within minutes. Shinobu emerges first in her nearly-transparent gold swimsuit, blonde hair tied back in twin tails. She gives you an appreciative look as she wheels her jet ski toward the artificial river. "Efficient as always."

Sinon follows in her teal two-piece. She nods acknowledgment as she maneuvers her machine into position. Tuka arrives last in a green one-piece, pointed ears visible through her hair, expression curious as she examines the magical portals with wide eyes.

You watch them guide Tuka to launch through the exit Gate then follow one by one before turning back toward the flight deck. Morning light washes across the open expanse as you step outside, salt air sharp against your face.

You settle into position near the port rail. You cast Spectral Hand, teleporting your reach across hundreds of miles of ocean. Scrying, the first ship materializes in your awareness - USS Bainbridge. You channel the advanced enchantment package through the spectral hand, feeling mana drain steadily as each component locks into place: Interface, Connection, Network Node, Energy Conversion, Refuel, Repair, Cleanliness, Thermostasis, Vigor, Regenerate, Aging Reversal, Aura Ward, Lucidity, Zero-Sleep, Warding Field, Muffling Aura, Silent Field, Mana Capacity.

Six minutes later you complete the fifth vessel and release the spell. Your network reserves still robust.

You head toward the weather deck, set up into a training area where Rika has established her firearms instruction range. The sound of her voice carries through the corridor as you approach.

"Grip is everything," Rika states firmly, standing before a group of eight women. "Loose grip means muzzle rise. Muzzle rise means missed shots."

Violet, Bulma, Riveria, Liza, Robin, Erza, Musashi and Sango stand in a semicircle, each holding unloaded handguns. Maria observes from the side with clipboard, taking notes.

Rika glances up as you enter. "Good timing. I was about to demonstrate proper stance."

You approach the semicircle of women holding unloaded handguns, noting the varied postures - some confident, others visibly uncertain. Rika stands at the center with professional bearing, tactical vest shifting as she gestures.

"Before we touch triggers," Rika states firmly, "we establish rules. First rule: treat every weapon as loaded. Always. Even when you know it's empty."

Violet nods immediately, fingers adjusting her grip on the handgun. Bulma glances at the weapon in her hands with faint skepticism but listens intently.

"Second rule," Rika continues, pointing toward the makeshift range. "Never point at anything you don't intend to destroy. Muzzle discipline isn't optional - it's survival."

Riveria holds her weapon with both hands, violet eyes tracking Rika's movements. The black leather collar shifts against her throat as she tilts her head slightly. "In Orario, we rely on swords or magic for combat. Firearms are... unfamiliar."

"That's why we start here," Rika replies evenly. "Third rule: finger stays off the trigger until you're ready to fire. Not when you're moving. Not when you're thinking. Only when you've identified your target and decided It's going to be shot."

Liza watches from the edge of the group, scaled arms holding her weapon awkwardly. Her reptilian tail twitches nervously against the deck plating.

"Fourth rule," Rika says, scanning the group. "Know your target and what's beyond it. Bullets don't stop just because you missed."

Musashi adjusts her stance, silver-pink hair catching fluorescent light. "Simple principles. Clear structure."

"Exactly," Rika confirms. She demonstrates proper grip - thumbs forward, hands high on the backstrap, elbows slightly bent. "Consistency matters more than strength. Your body creates the platform. The weapon just completes it."

You step forward from your observation position. "Mind if I join as a student?"

Rika glances over, expression shifting to mild amusement. "You're the one enchanting infinite bullets. But sure - fundamentals never hurt."

She hands you an unloaded Glock from the nearby table. "Show me your grip."

You position your hands according to her earlier demonstration - dominant hand high, support hand wrapping around, thumbs parallel along the frame. Rika circles around, examining your posture critically.

"Elbows," she corrects, tapping your right arm. "Bend them slightly. Locked joints absorb recoil poorly."

You adjust. Robin watches from her position, blue eyes thoughtful. Erza stands beside her, still in the strapless server outfit, scarlet hair tied back practically despite the revealing clothing.

"Better," Rika confirms. "Now - sight alignment. Front sight, rear sight, target. Focus on the front sight. Everything else blurs."

She moves down the line, correcting Bulma's finger placement and adjusting Sango's stance. Maria observes from the side with her clipboard, violet eyes tracking each instruction methodically.

Rika holds up the enchanted magazine, morning fluorescent light reflecting off its metal surface. "This is your ammunition source. Watch carefully."

She demonstrates the motion - gripping the magazine firmly, using her thumb to push a single round from the top. The brass cartridge emerges smoothly, and as it leaves the magazine another raises instantly to replace it.

"Perfect manufacturing," Rika observes, examining the round. "No defects. Now - everyone take position at the table."

The eight students arrange themselves in a line. Rika moves down distributing unloaded handguns, then places the enchanted magazine at the center of the table.

"Bulma, you're first. Push out fifteen rounds."

The blue-haired inventor approaches cautiously, placing her thumb against the top cartridge. She pushes - one round pops free into her palm. She repeats the motion methodically, counting aloud as brass accumulates on the table before her.

"Excellent," Rika confirms. "Now load your magazine. Slide each round in from the top, push down against the spring."

Bulma fumbles slightly on the first few but finds her rhythm quickly. The spring resistance increases as the magazine fills.

"Violet, your turn."

The blonde woman approaches with military precision, her fingers steady as she pushes rounds from the enchanted magazine. Her movements are efficient - fifteen rounds extracted in less than thirty seconds. She loads her magazine without hesitation, each cartridge sliding home cleanly.

"Good muscle memory," Rika notes approvingly.

Riveria steps forward next, violet eyes focused. Her elegant fingers grip the enchanted magazine delicately at first, then more firmly when she realizes force is necessary. The blonde-jade hair shifts across her bare shoulders as she works - the black leather collar visible against her throat.

"This is... mechanical," Riveria murmurs. "Just physical compression."

"Correct," Rika confirms. "Magic created the ammunition, but the loading is pure mechanics."

Liza approaches nervously, scaled fingers awkward against the magazine. Her first attempt fails - she can't generate enough pressure with her unfamiliar grip. Rika adjusts her hand position patiently.

"Use your palm, not just fingers. Push straight down."

Liza tries again. This time the round ejects properly. Her reptilian tail twitches with satisfaction as she continues, slowly building a pile of ammunition.

Robin, Erza, Musashi and Sango each take their turns. The process becomes routine - extract rounds, load magazine, prepare for live fire.

"Now comes recoil," Rika states, gesturing toward the improvised range. "Stance is critical. Lock your elbows slightly. Lean forward. Let your body absorb the force, not your wrists."

She demonstrates with her own loaded weapon, squeezing the trigger smoothly. The report cracks through the training area - sharp and immediate. The brass casing ejects, tumbling through the air before clinking against the deck.

"Your turn, Violet."

The former child soldier, former Auto Memory Doll steps to the firing line, positioning herself precisely as instructed. She raises the weapon, front sight centered on the target downrange. Her finger moves from the frame to the trigger.

She fires.

The recoil pushes her hands up slightly despite her prepared stance. The brass ejects cleanly, and she tracks the impact point on the target - slightly left of center.

"Adjust right," Rika instructs calmly. "Compensate for the pull."

Violet fires again. This time the round impacts closer to center mass.

Bulma steps to the firing line next, blue ponytail swaying as she positions herself. She raises the handgun with both hands, finger sliding from frame to trigger. The shot cracks through the training area - recoil pushes her hands up sharply, and the round impacts wide left on the target.

"Compensate right," Rika instructs calmly. "You're pulling slightly."

Bulma adjusts her grip, fires again. This time the impact lands closer to center mass. She empties the magazine methodically, each shot improving incrementally.

Robin follows with practiced smoothness, her decades of survival translating directly into weapon handling. Each round impacts within the center ring. Erza steps up in her strapless server outfit, scarlet hair tied back, and delivers a tight grouping that demonstrates natural warrior instincts. Musashi's shots are similarly precise despite her unfamiliarity with firearms.

Sango completes her exercise last, demon slayer training providing baseline familiarity with projectile weapons. Her grouping is respectable if not exceptional.

"Good work," Rika states as the final brass casing clinks against the deck. "Next session we'll work on movement drills and malfunction clearance. Dismissed."

The students begin securing their weapons and clearing the range. You approach where Liza stands near the equipment table, her scaled fingers still holding the modified handgun awkwardly. Her reptilian tail twitches against the deck plating.

Erza moves nearby, collecting spent magazines.

"Erza, Liza," you say, drawing both women's attention. "Would you like to learn sword and spear combat as well? Your tail gives you balance that most people lack - you could become an excellent all-distance combatant. Close range with blades and spear, mid-range with firearms, long-range with rifles."

Liza's eyes widen slightly, scaled hands lowering the weapon to the table. "I... was never trained for combat. Only service."

"That's exactly why training matters," Erza interjects, stepping closer. Her scarlet hair catches the fluorescent light as she regards Liza thoughtfully. "Your physiology provides advantages. We should develop them."

"You would teach me?" Liza asks hesitantly, her tail curling slightly.

Erza nods. "I have training weapons in my armory. Practice swords, blunted spears, weighted staffs. We can start with fundamentals - stance, grip, basic strikes. Your center of gravity is different from humans. We'll adapt the forms accordingly."

Liza glances at you, then back to Erza. "I would... like to learn. To not be helpless."

"Good," Erza confirms. "We'll begin this afternoon. Two hours of basics, then expand from there as you progress."

Liza's expression shifts from uncertainty to cautious determination. "Thank you, Brad-sama. Erza-san."

You turn toward Rika as she secures the last of the training equipment. "The Navy's priority list finished before I got here. Can you check with Webb and Reeves for the next batch? And confirm how communications are going with other navies - we should be passing into Mexico's area soon."

Rika pauses, lowering the magazine case to the deck. "We passed into Mexican waters early yesterday evening."

The words hit with unexpected force. You've been so focused on enchantments and relationship dynamics that basic geographic awareness slipped completely.

"I... apologize for being busy with the magic work," you manage. "Any developments or discoveries I should know about?"

Rika's expression shifts slightly - not quite amusement, but something close. "Actually, yes. Something interesting came up during morning communications."

She gestures toward where several dimensional travelers stand clustered near the equipment table. "The language situation is stranger than we realized. Dimensional travelers are speaking their native languages - as is everyone else... Tuka is the mystery case. Otherwise, we've had zero communication barriers."

You frown, processing. "Zero barriers how?"

"Albedo and Rin noticed it first," Rika continues. "Countries that should be speaking different languages - Spanish, French, Portuguese - all sound identical to them. Like perfect Japanese or English. C.C. confirmed the languages are actually different when she listened to radio transmissions. But to us? Seamless comprehension."

The implications cascade through your mind. Automatic translation would explain why you've had no issues communicating with anyone from different worlds or timelines. But Tuka...

"Tuka speaks her worlds variant of High Elvish," you say slowly. "She is currently layering it through the Telepathy Web for translation."

"Correct," Rika confirms. "Which suggests the automatic translation has limits. Fantasy languages aren't covered. But mundane languages, even from alternate timelines? Perfect mutual intelligibility."

She shifts her tactical vest, adjusting the weight distribution. "I'll contact Webb and Reeves about foreign negotiations. If other navies are experiencing the same translation effect, it changes diplomatic dynamics significantly. No interpreters needed."

"It's definitely not worldwide, giving auto-translation to dimensional travelers makes sense, you should be speaking Japanese right now, but if you have me listen to it normally right now, I'd get maybe half of it." You consider.

Violet approaches from the firing line, her regenerated hands carrying the modified handgun carefully. "Training complete for today?"

"Yes," Rika responds. "Good work. Next session we'll cover movement drills."

Bulma joins them, blue ponytail swaying as she wipes sweat from her forehead. "That was more physically demanding than I expected. My arms are going to be sore."

"The Vigor enchantment will handle that," Rika notes. "But the muscle memory is what matters."
