Chapter 275: Earth’s Final Stage
Chapter 275: Earth’s Final Stage
“I’ll kill him.” His eyes reddened as he approached the door. The moment he opened it, he found a man in the outfit of a prisoner standing right outside his door.
“No… you won’t.” Sebastian chuckled sinisterly, revealing the full set of teeth.
Tomás couldn’t believe he felt threatened by an unknown man, forcing him to unleash a ten-storey tall boar with a blue air symbol at both its shoulders.
Tomás’ eyes gleamed as the air around the surroundings stirred, even the clouds seemed to be blown away. “Who are you?!”
Sebastian’s sinister smile vanished and the bearing of a responsible headmaster returned. “I am your god.” His eyes also gleamed.

Ten minutes later, blood sprayed against Sebastian’s face as he gouged out Tomás’ windpipe. The paragon fell back first, hitting the floor with a dull thud.
He was currently in the Eclipsal State with white hide that could shrug off a nuclear bomb, tusks, and a massive size… yet.
Blood poured out his mouth and heavily mangled.body. Sebastian watched. Both of them were in a ruined place, the entire district, once a high-class residence was now devastated with hundreds of buildings, bungalows and multi-storey buildings in rubble.
Alarms blew, street lamps that were barely standing blinked while some torn wires sparked. The fight had completely wrecked the district.
Tomás shut his eyes and condensed wind blew out in a ring-like fashion. It completely shredded everything for the next three kilometres, though to people it was like a strong wind. The same couldn’t be said for whatever they owned though.
Sebastian staggered back, all his flesh peeled off but he simply smiled, snapped his fingers and reverted back to when he was completely fine with his prison attire on and that was before the blast.
He stepped on Tomás’ head, turned to Miquella who protected herself with her laws, smiled and thrust his hand through Tomás’ chest.
As he brought his hand out, white energy condensed into a diamond-shaped core which Sebastian held between his index and thumb.
Miquella’s eyes trembled. Tomás had ordered her to run when the battle took a turn but a certain pressure made her unable to.
Before her eyes, Sebastian killed her lover. Her knees crashed on the ground, but as she was about to wail, this devil of a man lifted up his finger and pressed it against his lips.
“Shush!” It was like a whisper but she could hear it.
Miquella trembled. Who was this man who could kill Tomás, one of the strongest paragons? She wasn’t sure he could be defeated. Tomás had taken out Sebastian’s breath several times, created an air void zone, flooded Sebastian with carbon dioxide but he just snapped himself out of it all.
Sometimes they would just hear the sound of a snap and Sebastian would return. It felt like he was toying with Tomás through it all.
She felt fear when Godfrey defeated her but against this man, dread filled her heart. He was an unknown and the unknown was more terrifying than anything.
At that moment, the giant boar separated from Tomás’ body. The dead summon lay like a small hill beside its master.
“Enjoy.” Sebastian patted the boar. “Boar meat is delightful. Besides…” His gleaming eyes found her.
“You’ll undoubtedly grow powerful enough to have your vengeance against me.”
Sebastian frowned when he saw Miquella’s disgusted expression. “I’ll kill you, you cannibalistic Fanatic!” She cursed.
Sebastian chuckled. “Do your eyes deceive you? Does this…” He pointed at the boar. “…look like a human being to you? Don’t be hypocritical, you eat meat. This is just a bigger creature and it’s filled with nourishment that will empower your summon.”
“You’re a bastard!” Miquella screamed. She desperately wanted to attack this man but in the depths of her heart she knew only death stood at the end of such an attempt.
Sebastian’s face grew cold. “Will you eat or should I revert you back to this morning, when you won’t have any idea of this, like I’ve done to your past six lovers.”
Miquella’s eyes widened.
“I can erase a particular memory, like I’ve done to your past men and look at you. Living a happy life. Isn’t it pathetic that I’ve offered you a chance to go beyond a paragon. To become a true judge that can judge the earth itself, to become the Imperial Judge progenitor or even touch the realm of gods?”
Sebastian tilted his head.
“What are you? There is no reason for what you’ve done and what you’re saying!”
“Because I’m a god and you’re just human. But that could change.” Sebastian proposed. “Earth’s final stage is coming when the mana tree will make those it deems fortunate gods. Our world will split into factions, you will either lead that, become a follower or die in the chaos.”
“You’re a liar. You—!” Her words died in her throat when Sebastian said what was in her heart.
“I know you’re stalling. Look behind you and see.”
Miquella looked behind her and saw countless people with red eyes staring at her. They stood still, doing nothing.
Her heart dropped. Was this Earth? Would she go back to that illusion once that man snaps his finger? Would she—
“There’s no more time.” Sebastian lifted up his hand, preparing to snap his fingers.
“Wait!”
Miquella stretched out her right hand, her heart pounding.
Sebastian smiled, dug out a chunk of flesh and called one of the red-eyed people to unleash his summon, who proceeded to roast the boar’s flesh.
“Come.”
With shaky steps Miquella approached. He handed it over to her and watched her tremble intensely.
She summoned her judge and ordered him to eat. The judge’s demeanour changed after he consumed it. It was like when mankind first tasted roasted meat after depending on fruits for so long.
“Ah… one more thing.” Sebastian looked at Miquella with a little smirk. “I lied.”
Miquella’s eyes widened but Sebastian vanished with a snap. His last words echoed.
“I also killed him because whoever kills him will gain the wind boar and I couldn’t let that boy have it. We all have our interests…”
It was like a whisper that branded itself into Miquella’s heart.
Everyone returned back to their previous state, some buried under debris, some were still struggling while most of them were unconscious.
It was just a little lie… Tomás was her first lover and this was the first time he had ever come in contact with her. A little doubt was all he needed to convince Miquella.
And now… he had slain a paragon and forced one into being a Fanatic. Her summon can never be turned back into what it once was, the same for her.
The euphoric feeling gained when one’s summon ate a beast summon would linger forever, drawing her toward it.

The next morning, there were lots of reporters in the area with policemen barricading the place. People were still being dug out.
Amongst these reporters was Nathan. “This is horrible. One of the Seven Heads fell and now a paragon has fallen. Judging from what I’m hearing about the corpse, it seems like Paragon Tomás was killed by a fanatic.”
[Fanatic bastards!]
[I hate humanoid Summoners! Anyone who isn’t with the authorities is the lowest trash!]
Several comments popped up.
“Guys this is a big problem. The Forbidden City is slowly turning into a red gate. I heard there was a plan for the paragons to intervene but if one of them is dead, there might not be guaranteed success. Stay safe out there.”

While all the commotion continued, Sebastian sat in prison, his head hung low.
’Godfrey won’t be having the boar.’ He spoke inwardly.
’Good. But Adam is still going around causing rampant chaos.’ Gabriel’s voice rang.
’We should push Godfrey to grow stronger and take control of the Golden Order.’ Sebastian replied inwardly.
’No. Too much and the boy will snap. Let his wounds heal before opening another.’ Gabriel replied.
Cain’s voice rang. ’Ignore that fool called Adam. I once thought he was dead but he simply gathered all that power for nothing. He will waste his lifespan and still won’t be able to eradicate all life.’
’He’s a virus that grows stronger. He’s slowly establishing another tier above a Titled god.’ Gabriel said softly.
’Godkiller.’ Sebastian chuckled.
’Earth’s final stage is approaching. The mana tree will find the fortunate ones, and it will all come together. We will become rulers over gods. Then, our conquest shall begin.’ Cain muttered.
’The woman…’ Sebastian began.
’I have her.’ Cain replied. Both their eyes gleamed while Gabriel who stood in his tower placed a book back into its position.
“I feel like we’re missing something.”
Just then, the door opened and Lucy came in. She found Gabriel on a ridiculously tall ladder and waved at him.
“I came to return the books I borrowed and of course, borrow another.” She beamed.
“That won’t be a problem.” He smiled, then lifted an eyebrow. “I heard Godfrey returned.”
“He’s not the same. Isolde’s death has affected him a lot.”
“I see. He’ll overcome it, don’t worry.”
Gabriel’s encouragement made Lucy smile.
