Chapter 46

One moment, he was standing in the white space.

The next, he felt as though the very nature of his was been shifted... He vanished.

He could not explain it neither could he even begin to understand it.

But he knew that something was different.

And when Orion finally opened his eyes again, he discovered that his surroundings had completely changed.

He was standing inside a galaxy. An actual galaxy.

Space stretched endlessly in every direction, extending so far that even his extraordinary vision could not find its limits.

Countless stars burned brightly in the distance, their radiance illuminating the vast darkness that surrounded them. Some shone like tiny specks of silver scattered across an infinite canvas, while others blazed with such overwhelming brilliance that they dominated the space around them.

Massive celestial bodies floated through the endless expanse, their immense forms radiating an ancient, almost indescribable majesty.

It was a sight that transcended ordinary imagination.

No words could adequately capture the scale of what lay before him.

Orion’s grey eyes widened slightly.

He did not need anyone to explain what he was seeing.

He knew it... without any hint of doubt he was standing inside a real galaxy.

And from every reasonable perspective, he should have been dead.

In fact, there were countless ways he could have died already.

The first was obvious....

There was no breathable atmosphere in the vacuum of space. Without some form of protection, a human being could not survive there for long.

Yet Orion was standing perfectly still, breathing as though he were in an ordinary room.

There was no immediate sensation of suffocation.

No desperate struggle for air.. it was as if he was in his room filled with freshest of air.

Then there was the second problem.

The heat.

Orion slowly turned his head.

Not far from where he stood was a blazing star, its immense surface radiating unimaginable quantities of energy into the surrounding space.

He was standing close enough that, under ordinary circumstances, the energy radiating from such a celestial body would have been more than sufficient to destroy him.

His flesh should have been reduced to ashes.

His bones should have been incinerated.

His entire existence should have been erased before he even had the opportunity to understand what was happening.

Yet... Here he was completely unharmed, there was no burning sensation. No pain or even the slightest discomfort.

His body remained intact, and his breathing continued as naturally as ever.

And those were only two of the countless ways he should have died.

There were other dangers he could barely begin to comprehend, threats that ordinary humans would never even have the opportunity to encounter, let alone survive.

But Orion was very much alive.

Which meant that something was protecting him.

There was no other reasonable explanation.

His grey eyes flickered slightly as he slowly raised his head.

And then he saw it.... The galaxy was changing.

At first, the transformation seemed almost imperceptible. Several mighty stars of different colours began to move, their brilliant forms shifting through the endless expanse as though drawn together by an invisible force.

Then more stars followed.

Blue, red, golden, silver, and countless other colours converged, swirling through space in a magnificent display that defied every ordinary law of nature Orion knew.

Their movements grew faster, their adiance intensified.

The countless lights merged into one another, their individual colours intertwining as an immense, indescribable force gathered at the centre of the transformation.

Orion watched without blinking.

The spectacle was so overwhelming that, for a brief moment, even he forgot to breathe.

Then, before his very eyes, the countless stars finally converged.

They formed a massive sun.

A sun that shone like a rainbow.

Its brilliant surface radiated a multitude of colours, each one flowing seamlessly into the next. The light was so magnificent that it seemed to illuminate not merely the surrounding galaxy, but the very fabric of existence itself.

Orion stared at the colossal celestial body.

Something deep within him told him that the rainbow sun was at least a million times larger than Earth.

Perhaps even more.

And yet, despite its unimaginable size and the overwhelming energy radiating from its surface, Orion could stand before it without being burned.

Not even the slightest harm came to him.

At that moment, any remaining doubt in his mind disappeared.

He was being protected and the one protecting him...

Was right there.

Orion’s gaze shifted.

Beyond the rainbow sun, the remaining white stars began to move.

They gathered together in a formation that seemed to transcend the limits of ordinary imagination, their brilliant lights merging and reshaping themselves into something magnificent.

A massive white throne that appeared to have been constructed from the very essence of the stars themselves.

Its majestic structure radiated an aura of overwhelming grandeur, an authority so absolute that merely looking at it stirred something deep within Orion’s soul.

It was unlike any throne he had ever seen.

No... it was unlike anything he could have imagined.

Its magnificence seemed to surpass the boundaries of the physical world, carrying an indescribable majesty that made every other throne appear insignificant by comparison.

Even from a distance, Orion could feel the sheer weight of its existence.

And then...

A figure materialized upon it.

The moment the figure appeared, Orion’s entire attention was drawn toward him.

The figure wore pure white garments that flowed naturally around his body, their immaculate appearance blending seamlessly with the radiant throne beneath him.

His hair was equally white, cascading down his back in a long, immaculate sheet that seemed to shimmer beneath the surrounding celestial light.

But it was his eyes that truly captured Orion’s attention.

They resembled the rainbow sun behind him.

Countless colours seemed to exist within their depths, shifting and flowing in a way that made them appear less like ordinary eyes and more like two fragments of the universe itself.

For a brief moment, Orion found himself unable to look away.

Then the figure’s presence spread outward making theentire galaxy trembled.

It was not merely the stars surrounding Orion that reacted.

The countless celestial bodies scattered throughout the galaxy seemed to shudder simultaneously, their immense forms trembling as though an invisible force had suddenly pressed down upon the entirety of existence.

Then, beyond the galaxy itself, something even more unbelievable happened.

The galaxies beyond it began to tremble as well.

One after another, entire galaxies shuddered beneath the overwhelming presence of the figure sitting upon the white throne.

And then...

They bowed.

Every single one of them, entire galaxies bowed before a single figure.

Orion’s mind briefly went blank.

Galaxies bowing before an individual?

That made absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Galaxies were unimaginably vast collections of stars, celestial bodies, and countless other cosmic structures. They were so enormous that attempting to comprehend their true scale was enough to overwhelm the imagination of an ordinary human being.

And yet, every single one of them had bowed.

Not metaphorically And it wasn’t an illusion either.

They had actually bowed before the figure seated upon the throne.

Orion stared at the spectacle, his grey eyes gleaming with an intensity that had nothing to do with the surrounding light.

The figure looked human.

At least, his appearance suggested as much.

He possessed a human body, a human face, and the general appearance of an ordinary man.

But Orion knew better.

There was nothing ordinary about this being.

A god?

Perhaps.

But even that title felt insufficient.

The presence radiating from this figure was so overwhelming that Orion could barely begin to compare it with anything he had encountered before.

Then he remembered the being in the white palace.

The entity who had erased more than ten people with nothing but a glance.

That being had possessed an aura so terrifying that Orion had instinctively understood the difference between himself and a truly superior existence.

To Orion, that being had represented the very definition of a god.

An entity whose power stood so far beyond ordinary comprehension that resisting him had seemed utterly meaningless.

But now...

Now Orion was looking at something that made even that existence seem inferior.

The difference was not small, It was not a matter of one being possessing slightly greater power than another, like the difference between heaven and earth.

Like comparing an insignificant speck of dust to the entirety of the universe.

If the being who had wiped out more than ten people with nothing but a gaze could be called a god...

Then the being sitting upon that white throne?

He could only be called the God.

Orion’s grey eyes shone brightly.

His gaze remained fixed on the majestic figure, his mind racing as he tried to comprehend the true identity of the existence before him.

Then, as though sensing Orion’s attention, the figure slowly turned his head.

Their gazes met and for a brief moment, the entire universe seemed to fall silent.

Then a warm voice echoed throughout the world.

"Welcome, next wielder of the Origin."
