Orgasm Treatment
Chapter 320 - 318: The Origin of the Yin Dwelling
"Dr. Yang, although our family isn’t incredibly wealthy, we’ve always been honest and never done anything against our conscience all these years. How could we attract this kind of thing?"
Tang Qingquan’s voice carried a suppressed gravity.
"When I came in just now, I felt that the Yin Qi in this old mansion is much heavier than outside," Yang Xun said. "Mr. Tang, has the family acquired anything new recently? Like antiques, ornaments, or old items brought back from outside?"
Tang Qingquan thought for a moment and shook his head. "No, everything in the house is old. We haven’t bought much new stuff over the years. Before Tangtang got sick, everything was as usual."
Yang Xun remained silent for a few seconds before turning to Tang Zhen and Fu Yaning. Both shook their heads to indicate they hadn’t either.
It was obvious that the Tangs weren’t lying, which meant the items might have been in the mansion all along.
"Tangtang didn’t live here before, did she?" Yang Xun asked again.
Tang Zhen paused slightly, then nodded. "Right. Tangtang had been living with us in the city for the convenience of her schooling.
"After her summer vacation started, Ya and I were busy with work, so we sent her to the old mansion. Shortly after she moved in, she started running a fever on and off."
Fu Yaning also nodded quickly. "Yes! Tangtang never had this kind of illness when she lived in our city home. It was only after moving to the old mansion... that things started going wrong."
Yang Xun nodded, his inner suspicions essentially confirmed.
Tang Qingquan’s expression noticeably changed, his tone carrying a hint of probing. "Does Dr. Yang mean... there’s a problem with this mansion?"
"The location of the mansion itself isn’t bad. It faces south, and the natural lighting is quite good." As Yang Xun spoke, he turned and walked toward the door. "I passed through the hallway and courtyard just now and noticed a few places where the Yin Qi is very heavy. Mr. Tang, if you don’t mind, I’d like to look around your house."
Tang Qingquan stayed silent for a moment before finally nodding. "Alright, I’ll take you."
The group followed Yang Xun out of the room, slowly walking down the corridor.
Zhao Linglong followed closely behind Yang Xun, her amber eyes shimmering slightly under the dim corridor lights. While Yang Xun only sensed the Yin Qi through a Cultivator’s instinct, Zhao Linglong could genuinely feel it.
After walking for a while, their footsteps stopped at the corner at the end of the corridor. A landscape painting hung there, its frame made of dark brown aged wood, looking quite old.
He raised his hand and gently touched the wall along the edge of the frame. The sensation transmitted to his fingertips carried a bizarre, icy chill.
"What’s behind this?" he asked.
Tang Qingquan’s expression froze slightly, then he answered truthfully, "It used to be the family’s storage room, but it was later converted into a small tea room. It’s rarely used."
"Can we go in and take a look?"
Tang Qingquan hesitated for a moment but ultimately pulled a key from his pocket and unlocked the hidden door that seamlessly blended into the wall.
CREAK. The door hinges let out a dry sound, and a gust of air mixed with the scent of dust and decaying wood rushed to their faces.
Yang Xun stepped inside, with Zhao Linglong right behind him.
The tea room wasn’t large but was elegantly decorated. An old elm tea table sat in the center, and a nearby shelf held several tea sets and scattered ornaments.
But Yang Xun’s gaze didn’t linger on those elegant items; instead, he walked straight to the wall on the left side of the tea table. A half-person-tall blue-and-white porcelain vase was placed there. Painted with interlacing lotus patterns, it looked like a mid-Qing dynasty antique in excellent condition.
Yang Xun crouched down in front of the vase and said in a deep voice, "There’s something buried under this."
Tang Qingquan’s face instantly changed. He quickly walked over to Yang Xun and looked down at the floor tile, which appeared identical to the surrounding ones. His voice carried a hint of shock. "How did you know?"
Yang Xun stood up and dusted off his hands. His tone was calm but resolute. "Because the Yin Qi on this patch of the floor is much denser than anywhere else." He turned to look at Tang Qingquan, his gaze filled with an insightful calm. "Mr. Tang, this shouldn’t be the only place in your house where something is buried, right?"
Tang Qingquan’s lips moved, and he finally let out a long sigh. As if having made up his mind, he nodded. "You’re right. It’s not just this one spot."
Yang Xun directly named the few locations he had noticed earlier, leaving the usually calm and composed Tang Qingquan dumbfounded. He hadn’t expected that despite hiding them so secretly, Yang Xun could pinpoint their exact locations without a single error just by looking around.
"Mr. Tang the Elder, there really are quite a few items containing Yin Qi in your house. It would be strange not to get sick after living in a place like this for a long time," Yang Xun remarked.
Fu Yaning froze for a moment, looking at Tang Qingquan in confusion. She wondered why there would be so many things with Yin Qi in the house.
Tang Qingquan’s face didn’t look too good. He found it somewhat hard to believe. "But those are all inanimate objects, and they’ve been buried underground the whole time. How could they have Yin Qi?"
"Mr. Tang the Elder, these items were likely passed down from your ancestors, so you should know they are all grave goods."
As soon as he said this, everyone in the room widened their eyes.
Zhao Linglong looked at Tang Qingquan in surprise. Elder Tang had known her grandfather for so long, yet it seemed he had never mentioned that his family originally consisted of tomb raiders.
Tang Qingquan fell silent for a few seconds. Finally, as if unloading a heavy burden, he let out a long sigh and said, "Dr. Yang is truly impressive to be able to see through this.
"These were passed down from generation to generation. I know these items are very valuable, but the Tang Family’s business has been quite good all these years. I’m not short on money, so I buried the treasures in various corners of the old mansion to... ward off evil and protect the house."
"Protect the house?" Yang Xun couldn’t help but shake his head. "These items are all tainted with the energy of death. Being buried in the house year after year... how could living people not have problems when dwelling in such an environment?"
He turned to look around the courtyard. "Mr. Tang, your family hasn’t had many descendants over the past few generations, right?"
Tang Qingquan’s expression changed again. He stayed silent for a long while before speaking. "You’re right... Our family has had only one heir per generation for several generations, and the health of each generation hasn’t been good.
"My grandfather and father both passed away in their early fifties... I’m the only one who has lived to be sixty.
"I always thought there was a problem with our family’s genes." His voice carried an indescribable heaviness. "I never expected... it was because of these things."
Yang Xun didn’t offer much commentary, only saying lightly, "With these items buried underground, the Yin Qi seeps into the entire mansion along with the earth’s natural currents.
"Living in this kind of environment, adults have enough Yang Qi to endure it for a while. However, children have weak constitutions. Someone with an Extreme Yin physique like Tangtang is especially susceptible to the effects.
"Right now, she’s only being pestered by Yin Souls, but if this drags on, the lifespans of your entire family will be affected."
Tang Qingquan’s body swayed slightly. Tang Zhen quickly reached out to support his father, his own face looking equally unwell.
