"Who are you looking for?"

"Hello, I’m here to see my sister-in-law. My name is Yang Cai, and Yang Xun is my brother."

Yang Cai smiled politely and held up the bottle. "I brought a small gift for my sister-in-law. Is she not home?"

When Xiaolin heard the name "Yang Xun," her eyebrows arched slightly, and she took another look at Yang Cai.

’This girl is quite pretty, but she doesn’t resemble Yang Xun at all.’

"Xu Yue went to the office for a meeting. She probably won’t be back until tonight. I’m her friend. Come on in and have a seat."

Xiaolin warmly welcomed her inside.

Yang Cai was a little nervous at first, but seeing the pretty woman smiling at her, she began to relax.

"What would you like to drink? I’ll get it for you," Xiaolin asked.

Xiaolin poured a glass of juice, handed it to her, and sat down beside her.

Xiaolin twisted the cap open a crack and leaned in to smell it.

A faint, indescribable scent wafted out, carrying a slightly fishy yet strange aroma.

She frowned and screwed the cap back on.

"Alright, I’ll give it to her for you."

Yang Cai replied sweetly, "Thank you, miss! You’re so nice."

She sat in the living room for a little while, and after finishing her juice, she got up to leave.

Xiaolin saw her to the door. When she turned back, she saw the small bottle on the table. She glanced down again at the milky white liquid inside, and an inexplicable curiosity welled up within her.

She had been staying up late writing reports recently, and her skin had indeed become a bit dull, with her dark circles growing more pronounced.

’Maybe... I should test it out first?’

She hesitated for a moment, but ultimately, her curiosity won out over her reason. She took the bottle and went into her room.

Sitting in front of her vanity, Xiaolin unscrewed the cap, dabbed a little of the milky white liquid onto her finger, and gently applied it to her cheek.
