Chapter 216 -117: A Clear Song Moves the Nine Heavens, Divine Will Arises, Suppressing the Myriad! Mr. Mei

He’d just been feeling more and more exhausted lately.

He ate and drank well every day, and a beautiful maiden was always by his side. Despite all that, he just felt tired—an unsettling, draining exhaustion.

At this thought, the town master’s eldest son set down his wine cup and yawned.

Unbeknownst to him, his face had already grown gaunt. His once-plump cheeks were now sunken, making his cheekbones protrude sharply.

His eyes were sunken, with dark circles ringing them, making him look as if he hadn’t slept for ten days and nights.

His body had wasted away to skin and bones. His large potbelly was gone, replaced by loose, sagging skin that clung to his protruding ribs.

His arms were as thin as sticks, and his legs had thinned out as well. He looked like he had shrunk a size, completely losing his formerly plump and prosperous look.

If anyone were to walk in now, they would likely not even recognize him as the pampered, high-living eldest son of the town master.

He figured he had just been overexerting himself lately and that a little rest would be all he needed to recover.

Just then, a stir came from the bed. The thin brocade quilt was gently kicked aside, revealing a dazzlingly white thigh.

The leg was so white it was almost blinding, like a sculpture carved from the finest suet jade, utterly without flaw.

Draped over the leg were several garishly red silk ribbons, loosely entwined. The contrast made the skin’s whiteness breathtakingly stark.

At the same time, a delicate, fair right hand braced against the pillow as the woman pushed herself up, turning onto her side in a single, graceful movement.

She was an incredibly bewitching woman. Her jet-black hair cascaded like a waterfall over shoulders whiter than snow, a few stray locks framing her cheeks.

Her face was utterly captivating. Her eyes curved into crescents above full, red lips. Her gaze was like a flowing river, but one that hid hooks capable of snatching away a man’s very soul.

She looked at the man standing dazed by the table and spoke, her voice dripping with sweetness.

“Darling, come here, quickly.”

Her voice carried a strange, unpracticed quality, like that of a child just learning to speak.

Those four simple words were like a thousand tiny hands tickling the town master’s eldest son’s very heart.

At this sinfully tempting sight, his eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.

That dazzlingly white thigh, those garish red ribbons, that graceful body, that bewitching face.

All of it together was simply going to be the death of him.

Without a second thought, the town master’s eldest son scurried over eagerly.

“Yes, yes!”

He ran to the side of the bed, reaching out to embrace the woman.

But in that instant, a white mist, visible to the naked eye, suddenly began to swirl from the woman’s eyes.

The white mist poured from her eye sockets and rapidly spread across her entire body. Finally, it engulfed the man standing by the bed as well.

The town master’s eldest son’s outstretched hand froze in mid-air. His gaze went vacant in an instant.

Deep within his consciousness, a vast, white world materialized. It was a world without end—no sky above, no earth below, just endless, boundless white in every direction.

As white as snow, as white as mist, a white so pure it was like nothingness itself.

The town master’s eldest son stood there, his face a mask of confusion. “What the hell? You little bitch, where the hell did you bring me?”

‘Wasn’t I just in bed? Where’s that gorgeous girl?’

Just then, the sky collapsed, and a head larger than the heavens and earth themselves appeared.

It was the head of a fox, snow-white from tip to neck. Its two ears were pricked and pointed. Its eyes were long, narrow, and otherworldly, and within them glowed an eerie red light.

It opened its mouth—a gaping maw large enough to swallow mountains, to swallow rivers, to swallow the sun, the moon, and the stars.

The moment the town master’s eldest son began to scream, both he and the entire white world were devoured by the giant fox head.

Back in the room, the town master’s eldest son remained frozen by the bed, his arm still outstretched. His eyes were wide open, but the light within them was gone.

He looked like a hollowed-out husk. A moment later, his body fell, stiff as a board, onto the bed.

The woman slowly sat up. She looked down at the dead man, a strange, eerie smile spreading across her bewitching face.

She stuck out her tongue, licked her lips, and then her body began to change.

Her face elongated, growing sharp and pointed. Her eyes slanted upwards, narrowing into slits.

Her graceful body began to swell. As she dropped to all fours, a glossy, snow-white coat of fur sprouted from her skin. Finally, a large, fluffy tail whipped out from behind her.

In a matter of breaths, the bewitching woman was gone, replaced by a snow-white fox the size of a tiger.

Without hesitation, it opened its mouth. Bite, by bite, by leisurely bite, it devoured the shriveled husk until nothing was left.

The wooden bed finally gave way under the strain. With a loud CRACK, the bed frame shattered, the legs buckled, and the entire thing collapsed.

The Demon Fox leaped gracefully from the wreckage and shook its fur. It licked its lips, not stopping until every trace of blood was gone from the corners of its mouth.

Finally, the Demon Fox narrowed its eyes in a look of pure satisfaction. It glanced down at the pile of splintered wood and wreckage.

Then, the Demon Fox’s body began to change again. Its fur receded, going from fluffy to flat against its skin, and from flat to gone entirely.

Its body, moments ago larger than a tiger’s, rapidly shrank. Stout limbs reverted to arms and legs, claws to fingernails, and the tail withdrew into its body. Its head reshaped itself into a human face.

A few breaths later, a naked beauty stood in the room.

“Humans are so delicious…” she murmured, her voice as soft and sweet as dripping honey.

Just a few days ago, this Demon Fox had still been cultivating deep in the ancient mountain forests. Back then, it was just an ordinary fox.

Living in a muddled, ignorant state, it spent its days hunting small animals in the woods.
