Chapter 312: 312: Your Patient.

The atmosphere grew tense as everyone stared at Ayra, unsure of what she meant.

"What... what do you mean by that?" Ally asked, suddenly growing nervous.

However, Ayra simply smiled at her. "I can’t complete the work you’ve already started. You’re the chief healer here, and he’s your patient. You’ve already begun treating him, so you should be the one to finish it."

She smiled as she added, "You need to complete what you started."

"....."

Ally hesitated for a while before finally speaking. "But you’re much better than me! I don’t want to make any mistakes, so you should continue treating him instead."

Ayra smiled gently. "Well, that’s not the right mindset for a healer. You shouldn’t underestimate yourself. You need to have confidence in your abilities, especially since you’ve already saved him from critical danger."

She paused before continuing, "Besides, I can feel that you’ve used your unique skills on him, and his body seems to have responded positively. That means you should continue treating him in your own way."

Ayra turned toward the young rabbit before looking back at her daughter. "He’s your patient, Ally. You should finish what you started with your very first patient. But don’t worry, I’ll be right here to guide you and assist whenever you need me. How does that sound?"

She gave her an encouraging smile.

Lord Vale nodded in agreement. "Yes, I think your mother is right. You should listen to her and give it a try."

Ally hesitated for another moment before finally nodding. "Okay, then... I’ll do it. But I’ll need your guidance."

Ayra smiled reassuringly. "Don’t worry. I’m here."

With that, Ayra stood up and stepped aside, allowing Ally to take over the treatment. The young girl sat beside the rabbit once more and prepared to continue her work.

"I’ll need some warm water," Ally instructed. "And some herbal medicine as well."

The beastmen around her immediately nodded and went off to fetch everything she had requested.

With Ayra standing beside her to offer guidance, Ally continued treating the young rabbit. Her mother didn’t interfere much, instead offering instructions while Ally carried out the actual work.

Following Ayra’s guidance, Ally carefully warmed the rabbit’s body with the medicated water and applied the necessary medicines to his injuries. Once she had finished with the physical treatment, she channeled her pheromones into him again, allowing her unique energy to work further on his condition.

Gradually, the young rabbit’s condition improved, and by the time Ally finished, he was in a much better state than before.

---

By evening, Ayra’s other mates had returned from their hunting trip with the other beastmen. Commander Lynn had also finished training the little ones, so he joined Lord Ash and Lord Zark, who had already returned earlier.

Upon arriving, they heard about the strange rabbit beastman whom Lord Vale and Ally had brought back to the tribe. Naturally, the news left them curious, and they decided to go and see what was happening for themselves.

When they arrived, they discovered that the treatment was still underway. The beastmen outside informed them that Ally and Ayra were inside, attending to the injured rabbit.

Since they didn’t want to disturb the treatment, the three men had no choice but to wait outside.

While waiting, Lord Ash rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "A strange rabbit beastman? I wonder where he came from. Everyone says he isn’t from our tribe, and he doesn’t look like a wild beastman either..."

Lord Zark stood with his hands behind his back as he considered the situation. "Perhaps he’s from one of the nearby beast clans. But there’s still a chance he could be dangerous. Can we even afford to keep a stranger like him here?"

Commander Lynn shrugged and folded his arms. "I suppose we’ll just have to wait for them to come out and find out."

While the three men continued discussing the matter, Ayra, Nyx, and Lord Vale eventually stepped outside and came face-to-face with them.

"Oh, look who’s here! What are you three doing standing out here?" Ayra asked curiously.

"They were still busy inside, so we had to wait," Lord Ash replied, glancing toward the room where the treatment had been taking place. "What’s happening in there? And where’s Ally?"

"Is the treatment finished?" Lord Zark asked.

"Well, I suppose it is," Ayra replied with a smile. "And it was a success! Our little girl is quite skilled. She managed to save the rabbit, so he’s out of danger for now."

Lord Ash glanced toward the room again, his expression turning concerned. "But is it really safe to leave her alone in there with that rabbit? Do we even know if he’s safe to be around?"

Ayra looked at him calmly. "He doesn’t seem dangerous at all. As a matter of fact, his energy is so weak that I’d guess he’s an F-rank beastman or something."

"Yes, he’s an F-rank," Lord Vale confirmed, standing with his arms folded.

Lord Zark, however, wasn’t entirely convinced. "Even so, that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s harmless. Leaving Ally alone with him might not be safe. We should go inside and check on them."

Ayra glanced toward the room for a moment before nodding. "I suppose we can go in now. We only stepped outside for a little while to get some fresh air away from the smell of all those medicines..."

"Let’s go inside," Commander Lynn interrupted. "I’d like to see who this strange rabbit is and how he ended up in our tribe."

Lord Ash nodded. "Yes, let’s see who he is."

Ayra shrugged. "Alright, let’s go."

She turned and led the way inside, with the others following closely behind to get a look at the unfamiliar beastman.

As they entered the room, their eyes immediately fell on Ally, who was sitting beside the unconscious rabbit. She was gently wiping his forehead with a warm, damp piece of cloth, carefully tending to him even after the treatment was over.

The men watched her for a moment before shifting their attention to the injured rabbit lying on the bed. He still looked sickly and weak, his body bearing the marks of his recent injuries.

Curiosity filled their faces. Lord Zark and Commander Lynn stared at the unfamiliar beastman in confusion, neither of them having the slightest idea who he might be.

But the moment Lord Ash laid eyes on him, he froze.

He stared at the rabbit for a long moment, his expression gradually changing as a sense of familiarity crept over him. It didn’t take long for recognition to settle in.

He knew this rabbit.

And the way Lord Ash’s expression darkened was more than enough to reveal one thing: he certainly didn’t have fond memories of the beastman lying unconscious before him.
