Ayra couldn’t believe she’d be here telling the tales of what she didn’t do.

She sighed as she explained how she was vicious in the past and had no brains. But promised she had changed. At least that was the excuse she had to give.

Rai said as soon as she was done, "You don’t have to explain. We trust you already."

Kan and the others nodded as Jun said, "Yes. And I believe Nyx will trust you too soon if he sees your good side. Nyx is a good person..."

Lord Ash nodded. "True. He’s a good person. So if he understands, he’ll forgive you and come around."

Ayra nodded. She could only hope so.

Lord Zark was standing and staring at the little dragon. And immediately, the little dragon stopped playing with his stick and looked up at his father.

Immediately, he staggered to his feet and walked up to Lord Zark. The little dragon got to his feet and held onto Zark’s legs with his little arms.

"..." Zark stared down at the little one, confused.

"Carry the little one," Lord Ash said with a smile, shaking his head. "You sure do have a lot to learn." Everyone smiled at the scene.

"..." Lord Zark bent and carried the little dragon who happily went into Lord Zark’s arms.

"So cute..." Ginn, the little hamster in Rai’s peer group, smiled at the scene.

"Do you think the little one is an S-rank?" Rai tilted his head. "He seems so quiet and cute."

"He should be," Lord Ash shrugged.

"Doesn’t matter.. we still love the little one," Rai smiled as they watched him play in Lord Zark’s arms.

"We don’t have names yet!" Jun, the blue bird, said. "I think we should give the little ones names."

Ayra nodded with a smile, staring at the beastmen. "Did you come up with anything yet?"

Lord Vale smiled, staring at the little ones. "Hmm, I’ve been thinking for a while. I think I do."

Everyone stared curiously. Lord Vale stared down at the little ones, confused.

"Hmmm but they all look alike, how am I supposed to know who I named...?"

Everyone burst into laughter as Ayra shook her head with a smile. She stared at the snakes. "Well, they don’t look too alike..." She could at least tell the difference.

But the rest were confused. They couldn’t see much difference between the three troublesome snakes playing. They looked alike!

Ayra smiled. "Just name them then. I’ll point."

Lord Vale nodded as he stared at them. "This... I’ll call him Neris."

Jun nodded with a smile. "That’s a nice name!" Everyone agreed.

Lord Vale smiled proudly as he continued. "And this... Nyeon and this Nat."

"Oh!!" Kan and Rai said with a nod. "That’s it. You’re giving them similar names!"

Lord Vale smiled proudly as he said, "Yes. Good names, right?" He smiled at Ayra who also nodded.

"Neris.. Nat, Nyeon..." Ayra smiled. "Pretty indeed."

Now everyone turned to Lord Zark who was still carrying the little one in his arms. Lord Ash said, "So? What names have you come up with?"

Lord Zark was quiet as he stared down at the little one in his arms. He had nothing to say. And no matter how much he thought, he couldn’t come up with anything.

"I don’t know..."

"..." Ally blinked as she said, "Oh."

Ayra smiled as she said calmly, "Think about it, I’m sure you’ll come up with something."

"Oh..." Lord Zark stared down at the little one for a while and then said, "What about Zay?"

"..."

Everyone was impressed at how fast that came. And also natural.

"That’s great..." Ginn nodded. "How long have you thought about it?"

"Just now," Zark casually said.

Lord Ash smiled. "I guess you have a hidden talent for giving names. That’s brilliant then!"

Ayra smiled as she stared at the little dragon in his arms. "You hear that? Zay is your name... We shall all call you Zay."

The little red dragon turned and stared at Ayra who was smiling at him. He said nothing but kept a calm expression, his big eyes on Ayra.

"And you are... I forgot the names again!" Ally said with a pout as everyone laughed.

"It’s okay, you’ll gradually learn them all," Lord Ash comforted with a smile.

The atmosphere was wholesome as everyone soon joined in the beastmen who were playing some instruments in celebration of the little ones.

They had sang and danced most of the night for the female and the little ones. And Ayra and the little ones with their fathers sat there with smiles on their faces, watching the eventful scene.

Soon, everyone’s attention had moved to Ayra’s new fox ears and tail.

Everyone at the scene were surprised and impressed at the new development.

"How is that possible? The female has upgraded two ranks in a short time?"

"That’s impressive already."

"Look at the female’s ears and tail.. they look so pretty..."

But Lord Zark cast a cold glare at those who praised and admired her tail and ears. He was possessive of her new features now.

Rai leaned closer with a smile as he stared at the ears. "When will you become a C-rank female? Eh? I want to see the female in beast form!"

"Me too!" His peers also nodded in agreement.

Ayra smiled as she said, "Soon I guess? But you’ll see it when the time comes," she assured them.

But Lord Zark pulled Ayra close as he said to her, "When that happens, I want to be the first person who sees it," he said in a possessive tone.

Ayra casually folded her arms as she said, "We’ll have to see about that."

"..." Zark was speechless.

The blissful event continued as they also celebrated the female’s upgrade in rank. Everyone, including Ayra, was having fun at the scene.

But Ayra couldn’t stop thinking about the wild cat in-between spaces as well.

She found herself dreaming about the wild cat multiple times. And they were all nightmares of the wild cat haunting her down!
