Chapter 165: 165: Planned Visit

Lord Vale sat down close to Ayra, staring down at the three eggs sitting close to her. He wanted to pat the eggs, run his hands through them and feel them for himself.

But he was skeptical that he’d break them or something. It all still felt unreal to him.

Ayra smiled as she said, "You know you can feel them if you want. They’ll be happier to have their FATHER feel them." She explained.

Lord Vale hesitated. He was clearly nervous as he stretched out his hand to feel the eggs. It took him a while but he felt them, gently running his hand through the eggs one by one.

He could feel it. The heat in the eggs, the energies moving through them were lively. They were alive. The little ones were in there reacting to the touch.

Lord Vale found himself smiling while he continued feeling the eggs. "They’re alive.. I can feel them.." He didn’t know how to feel.

Ayra smiled as she looked up at Lord Zark. He was standing there trying to keep his cold and calm expression while staring at the dragon egg at her side.

Ayra smiled as she said, "If you keep standing there, little dragon baby will be sad."

Lord Zark stared at her and then at the egg. Soon, he approached awkwardly and sat close to the egg at the other side of the bed.

"Don’t worry, it’s your little one. No one is taking him away from you," She smiled as she stared at him, assuring.

Lord Zark slowly raised a hand to feel the egg. He could feel the heat bustling in it. The heat of the little one reacting inside. The dragon lord was speechless.

"The little dragon recognizes you as the father," Ayra smiled.

She sat there watching the two tribe lords feeling their eggs. They were still speechless at the experience. Their first experience with their little ones. It all still felt unreal to them!

Ayra sighed as she watched them. She leaned back to get some rest as she was still exhausted after everything.

Lord Zark turned to her as he ran a hand through her stomach. "You’ve done a great job..." He said in a low husky tone.

"Thank you for bearing our heirs..." Lord Vale said with a gentle smile staring at her. "We’ll forever protect you as ours..."

Lord Zark sighed as he stared down at the egg. "You have to take a long rest first. And you’ll have to lay close to the eggs too to keep them nourished."

Ayra smiled as she stared at the eggs. "I certainly will. But first, I guess I’ll have to take down that antelope..."

The two lords stared at her.

"You don’t have to worry about that antelope. We believe you, and we will always believe the mother of our heirs. We chose you... So we’ll protect you," Lord Zark said.

Lord Vale added, "Just focus on taking care of the eggs alone.."

Ayra smiled. She felt touched knowing they trusted this villainess even after everything. She was moved.

But she said, "Thanks a lot, but I guess I owe explanations to the other beastmen who trusted me. They’re probably disappointed now.. so I have to work hard first to make sure I give them an answer as soon as possible..."

The two tribe lords stared at her. They figured they couldn’t convince her.

The dragon lord took her hand and then stared into her eyes. "You really are different from everything we’ve heard... you’re..."

Ayra smiled. "It’s basic human act. I have to give them an answer..." She sighed.

"And what do you plan on doing? Do you have anything?" Lord Vale inquired.

Ayra smiled. "Well, I do," Ayra thought for a while as she explained. "I already know everything that happened. What’s left now is to catch the culprit in the plan..." She said as she stared at them.

The two lords stared at each other and then stared down at Ayra.

"Are you certain of the plan? I have a feeling that antelope is up to no good.." Lord Zark said. "And it might be hard to expose his plan..."

Ayra smiled. "I’m glad you at least share the same thoughts as me. That antelope really is up to no good.."

She added, "But don’t worry. I already have it figured out. I just need your help in executing it..."

They stared at each other and then at Ayra. Lord Vale gently brought his hand down to her stomach, gently caressing it as he said, "Don’t worry, just tell us what you want. And we’ll make sure we handle it. Just take care of yourself for us and don’t overwork..."

Ayra smiled. "I will.. I’ll get the maximum rest I need after this..." She assured as they nodded.

And so they proceeded with the discussion of the plan Ayra had. With the system presenting her with the information she needed, Ayra had come up with a quick plan after delivery. It had come so easily that she figured it’d be best to run it through as soon as she could.

And after they were done discussing the plan, Ayra retired to get some rest close to the eggs. Sleeping warmly closely to the eggs with the thick animal skin while the two tribe lords left her for the night.

Two days later, after some rest, the tribe lords had decided to pay Ayra another visit in the company of a group of people.

It was all part of the plan. And they had meticulously selected the group of people who had followed them to pay a visit to Ayra. The antelope wasn’t part of them.

The three tribe lords, Commander Lynn, Rai and Kan, Ally and then some security beastmen who were standing behind.

Ayra smiled, laying close to the eggs while they presented the fruits they had come with.

"Have some of this, it gives you more energy," Rai said.

Ally who was kneeling close to Ayra’s bed smiled while she kept staring at the eggs. She couldn’t take her eyes off them.

But when she looked up to see her mum, she couldn’t help but notice the mark at her neck. "Eh? Mama, what is the mark at your neck side?"
