Chapter 234: Killing The Forsaken Knight, There’s More Of Them?!
Chapter 234: Chapter 234: Killing The Forsaken Knight, There’s More Of Them?!
Clang!
Their swords collided once more, the impact sending vibrations through both of their bodies as they clashed head-on, neither side giving ground as their strength matched in that moment.
Slash! Slash! Slash!
They exchanged blows rapidly, their movements sharp and relentless as each tried to gain the upper hand, their weapons colliding again and again in a fast-paced exchange that left no room for hesitation.
At the same time, Leon continued casting spells whenever he found even the smallest opening, but once again, most of them failed to make any real impact.
The knight either cut through them or tanked them outright, its defenses proving to be incredibly difficult to break.
But Leon didn’t stop. He kept pushing.
And then—
Torrent of Lightning!
He raised his staff.
The air around them shifted instantly, crackling with energy as dark clouds seemed to form above, electricity gathering in the space around them before—
ZAP! ZAP! ZAP!
Dozens of lightning bolts crashed down from above, striking the knight repeatedly in rapid succession, each impact sending flashes of light across the battlefield.
At first, it looked like nothing had changed.
The knight endured the strikes, standing firm despite the barrage, its armor taking the hits without showing any immediate weakness.
But then—
ZAP!
One of the bolts hit perfectly.
[You have stunned “Forsaken Knight”]
For less than a second, the knight froze.
FWOOSH!
Leon moved instantly, his body reacting faster than thought as he closed the distance once more, his sword already swinging toward the exact same spot he had struck earlier, targeting the weakened section of the armor.
SLASH!
This time, it went through.
The blade cut deep, slicing through the knight’s body all the way down toward its stomach, the impact causing it to shudder as its movements slowed.
It tried to respond. It lifted its sword one last time, attempting a final strike. But there was no strength left in it.
The weapon slipped from its grasp.
And then—
THUD.
The knight collapsed to the ground. Dead.
Ding!

[100% Drop Rate has triggered…]
Leon stood there for a moment, breathing slowly as he looked down at the corpse, his expression serious as he processed what had just happened.
He hadn’t expected his very first fight in this place to be this intense.
’…This place is going to be a problem if there are more of these things.’
The thought settled heavily in his mind as he looked around the ruined city.
If this was just the beginning, then whatever came next would only get worse.
’I also feel like this assessment’s gonna be much longer than the first [God-Rank] one.’
Still, he didn’t have a choice.
If he wanted to complete the assessment, he would have to keep moving, keep exploring, and find a way out of this place.
Which meant stepping deeper into danger.
Leon exhaled slowly before opening his [Storage Space], preparing to check what the knight had dropped.
But then—
Creak…
The sound made him freeze. It was subtle at first, barely noticeable, but unmistakable.
The sound of armor. Several of them, in fact.
Leon’s eyes narrowed as he slowly lifted his head, his gaze shifting around him as the faint noise echoed through the ruined street.
And then, he saw them.
“…You’ve got to be kidding me.”
One by one, figures stepped out from the shadows surrounding him.
Six [Forsaken Knights], identical to the one he had just killed, their massive armored bodies moving in unison as they surrounded him from all directions, their swords already raised.
The oppressive aura in the air intensified instantly.
Leon tightened his grip on his weapon, his expression turning grim as he realized the situation he was now in.
“…Yeah,” he muttered under his breath, his eyes locking onto the enemies around him, “this might actually be impossible.”
And then, they all moved at once.
Leon’s mind sharpened instantly the moment the six knights began their advance.
Every instinct inside him screaming that this situation was far more dangerous than anything he had faced so far.
Struggling even slightly against a single one of those [Forsaken Knights] had already shown him just how absurd their strength and combat ability were.
And now he was facing six of them at the same time, all moving with that same precision, that same intelligence, and that same overwhelming pressure.
If even one of them could push him to that extent, then they could overwhelm him in seconds if he made even the smallest mistake.
And Leon understood that clearly as he tightened his grip on both his sword and his staff, his eyes moving rapidly to track each of their positions as they closed in from every direction.
Their presence alone was suffocating, their heavy armor creaking with each step as their swords glinted faintly under the dim light of the eclipsed sky.
’If they all rush me at once… what are my chances?’
The answer wasn’t something he liked.
Their strength was already high enough to clash with his [Power Sword] without being overwhelmed.
And their durability allowed them to either cut through or completely ignore most of his spells.
Which meant that he couldn’t rely on his usual strategy of overwhelming his enemies with a combination of physical attacks and magic pressure.
If anything, this fight would demand more from him than anything before.
’I’ll have to use my stronger skills…’ Leon thought, his expression turning colder as he prepared himself mentally, ’And also… I can’t fight them all alone like this.’
Even if he was confident in his own strength, even if he believed he could defeat them one by one, the fact remained that they were not going to give him that chance, and trying to face all six directly without any kind of support would only put him at a massive disadvantage.
So without hesitation—
Undead Summon!
Leon raised his staff, his mana surging outward.
The ground beneath him reacted instantly as dark energy seeped into the earth, spreading rapidly in a wide area before—
Fwoosh! Fwoosh! Fwoosh!
The ground cracked open in multiple places, skeletal hands bursting out from below as figures began to rise one after another.
Their hollow eyes glowed faintly as they fully emerged, forming a small army around Leon in mere seconds.
