Online Game: I Have A 100% Drop Rate

Chapter 167: The Divine Box’s Rewards

Chapter 167: Chapter 167: The Divine Box’s Rewards

While examining the [Divine Box], Celeste found herself even more impressed than she had been when she first looked at her own reward.

The box itself looked rather simple at first glance, yet the aura coming from it was unmistakably powerful.

Still though, Celeste had already assumed something obvious.

“Too bad you can only get one of the five items—”

But she suddenly stopped mid-sentence.

Her eyes widened slightly as the thought fully formed in her mind.

“—Wait a damn minute.”

Leon had already reached the exact same conclusion, and the two of them exchanged a glance that said everything without needing any further explanation.

Leon’s talent was [100% Drop Rate].

Normally, the [Divine Box] clearly stated that opening it would grant the user only one of the five items inside.

But talents that affected drop rates were strange.

The system didn’t always follow normal logic when those kinds of abilities were involved.

So the real question became simple.

Would the talent treat the contents of the box like a drop table?

Or would it follow the restriction written in the description?

There was only one way to find out.

Leon lifted the box slightly and began pouring his mana directly into it.

The moment his energy flowed into the artifact, the [Divine Box] reacted instantly.

A powerful glow erupted from its surface as ancient symbols carved into the lid began shining with bright golden light.

Everyone still standing inside the [Event Hall] quickly turned their heads toward Leon as the box slowly floated into the air.

It began rotating slowly while the energy around it intensified.

Fwoosh!

The light grew brighter and brighter until the entire hall was illuminated.

And then—

Ding!

[You have opened the “Divine Box”.]

For a split second, nothing happened.

But immediately afterward—

Ding!

[100% Drop Rate has triggered, all items inside of the Divine Box will be placed into your storage space.]

Leon felt a surge of excitement inside his chest.

“I knew it,” he laughed internally, trying his best to keep his expression calm despite the massive success.

He had honestly hesitated for a moment before opening the box because the description clearly stated that only one item would be granted.

But as long as luck or drop mechanics were involved, Leon’s talent would always override the restriction.

Every single reward inside the box had just been given to him.

“All five of them…” Leon thought with a grin.

Normally, the person in first place would only receive one random reward.

But thanks to [100% Drop Rate], Leon had just obtained everything.

He didn’t waste a single second before opening his [Storage Space] to check what had appeared inside.

And when the items appeared before his eyes, even Leon couldn’t help but smile.

There were five treasures resting neatly inside his storage.

A [Resurrection Stone], an [Ascendant Skill Scroll], a [Divine Key], a [Secret Realm Token].

And finally… A piece of equipment labeled [Divine Armor].

“Lots of amazing items,” Leon murmured with clear satisfaction while examining the rewards.

He immediately began analyzing each one carefully. The first item was the most familiar.

[Resurrection Stone (Legendary): Will revive someone at the nearest “safe point” upon death. Automatically consumed if the user dies.]

This one was very straightforward.

And Leon was genuinely happy to receive another one.

The resurrection item he currently had was extremely valuable, but having an additional one provided a huge safety net.

If his [Life Vessel] title was ever consumed and he died again afterward, the [Resurrection Stone] would activate and bring him back at the nearest safe location.

In other words, it was an extra life.

For someone constantly fighting powerful enemies, that kind of item was priceless.

Next, Leon examined the second reward: the [Ascendant Skill Scroll].

It was exactly the same type of scroll Celeste had just received moments ago.

Celeste stared at Leon with disbelief when she realized this.

“Hold on,” she said slowly while crossing her arms. “So you basically got my reward… and four other items on top of it?”

Leon shrugged casually, “Looks like it.”

Celeste shook her head with a sigh, “Holy hell.”

For a normal player, receiving just one of these rewards would already be incredible.

But Leon had casually obtained all of them thanks to his talent.

It was honestly unfair. Still, Leon moved on to the next item.

[Secret Realm Token (Mythical): Can be used in a place where a secret realm resides to open it. Do note that it is extremely dangerous.]

It was yet another item that he already knew about, though Leon knew it would be extremely useful.

’You never know when you’ll discover a [Secret Realm],’ he grinned, ’Very good.’

Having a [Secret Realm Token] meant he could instantly open one of those realms if he found the correct location.

Now only two items remained. The first one was the equipment.

Fwoosh!

Leon inspected it carefully as its panel appeared.

[Divine Armor (Ascendant): +10,000 Defense, +5,000 Spirit, +5,000 Strength, +4,000 Agility, +3,000 Constitution. Requirement: Be in the top 10 of the “Divine Academy Event”]

“Wow.”

Leon genuinely paused when he saw those numbers.

This armor was easily the best defensive equipment he had encountered since arriving in this new life.

It was even stronger than the [Elemental Dragon Armor +2] he was currently wearing.

Without hesitation, Leon removed his old armor and equipped the new one.

The divine armor immediately formed around his body, fitting perfectly as if it had been crafted specifically for him.

The previous armor was stored inside his [Storage Space].

Of course, removing the [Elemental Dragon Armor +2] meant losing the [Storm of Elements] skill from his [Blood Heart]’s blessing.

But Leon didn’t seem worried.

“I’m pretty sure the [Blood Heart] will recharge soon,” he thought calmly.

Once it did, he would simply apply another blessing to his new armor, which meant the loss was only temporary.

At that moment, Leon suddenly looked toward Celeste.

“We’ll need to get you two elemental sub-talents,” he said thoughtfully.

Celeste tilted her head slightly, “Why?”

Leon opened his storage again and explained the armor’s requirement.

The requirement to equip the [Elemental Dragon Armor +2] was possessing two of the four basic elemental sub-talents.

“I already obtained the [Deep Earth Affinity (B-Level)] from the [Wild Plant King],” he explained while pulling out the scroll representing the sub-talent. “So we only need one more afterward.”

Since Leon no longer needed it, Celeste could easily use the armor instead.

He tossed the earth affinity toward her.

Celeste immediately absorbed the sub-talent.

A faint glow surrounded her body for a moment before disappearing.

“Thank you~” she said with a bright smile.

Leon nodded before finally examining the last item. The one he understood the least.

[Divine Key (???): A strange key that emits a divine glow. Perhaps it can be used somewhere.]

Leon stared at the description for several seconds.

“…Huh.”

The system didn’t provide any hint about where it should be used.

But items with vague descriptions like this were often extremely valuable once their purpose was discovered.

Leon simply stored it again.

“I’m sure it’ll become useful eventually,” he thought calmly.

With that, he had finished examining all five rewards.

Leon stretched slightly before turning toward Celeste with a satisfied grin.

“Alright,” he said. “We should leave and then use our [Ascendant Skill Scrolls] to learn new skills.”

Celeste nodded enthusiastically.

She was extremely curious to see what kind of ability the scroll would grant her.

The two of them began walking toward the exit of the [Event Hall].

Several players noticed them leaving.

Some of them watched carefully, their expressions cautious.

But none of them tried to stop them.

Once Leon and Celeste stepped outside the hall, Leon immediately opened his [World Map].

His finger moved toward a familiar location: [Vine Plains].

“Hold on to me again,” Leon said with a grin.

Celeste already knew what he meant. So she grabbed his arm.

“Ready.”

Fwoosh!

Their bodies instantly dissolved into particles as the teleportation activated.

Moments later, they reappeared at the entrance of the [Vine Plains].

The area around them was filled with thick vegetation and massive vines twisting through the landscape.

Celeste immediately pulled the [Ascendant Skill Scroll] out of her [Storage Space].

“Alright,” she said excitedly. “Let’s see what I get…”

Leon did the exact same. He held the glowing scroll in his hands before slowly pouring his mana into it.

Both of them waited in anticipation, eager to discover what kind of abilities they would receive.
