Emil’s eyes widened, his body froze because he didn’t expect Atlas to go that far, to the point where he would hurt Aquila. He slowly grabbed his hair and muttered under his breath, "That’s too much."

Without wasting any time, he went towards them, patted Atlas’s shoulder, and waved him away from Aquila’s body.

Atlas didn’t try to resist. He stepped away as he rested his axe on his shoulder after swinging it once to clean all the blood from the blade.

Emil’s gaze remained fixed on Aquila. He was simply lying there as if nothing had happened, his eyes still locked onto Emil, respect clearly visible within them.

But the reality was far more serious. The wounds had caused him to lose a dangerous amount of blood, and if he wasn’t treated soon, Aquila could lose his life.

’Fuck... I don’t know how I can cure this wound. Should I take him to the Summoners’ Tower? There might be a healer there.’

Right away, a portal appeared beside Emil. His gaze shifted to Atlas as he said firmly, "Lift Aquila and bring him to the tower with me."

Although Atlas and Aquila were rivals, they were not enemies. Atlas didn’t carry even a single strand of hatred towards him.

He simply gave a tiny nod and walked toward Aquila. He slipped one hand beneath his thighs and the other beneath his chest before lifting him with ease.

Aquila’s bow rested over his left shoulder, while his axe was secured to his right side by a strip of mana, keeping it firmly in place so it wouldn’t fall.

Emil passed through the portal, Atlas following behind him. When all three of them were back in the dormitory, the portal behind them closed as if it had never existed in the first place.

Emil pushed the door open as he walked towards the first chamber where Valera usually worked. His steps were hurried, sweat dripping down his temple.

In his mind, multiple thoughts were appearing. ’Wait... what if he dies?’ A sigh left his mouth, and he shook his head once in order to calm himself.

Soon, he found himself back in the first chamber, gasping for breath. He leaned down onto one knee before finally raising his voice. "Valera, help."

Valera’s attention was on the book she was reading, but when Emil’s anxiety-filled voice echoed through the chamber, her head shot towards the connector. She noticed Emil standing there, his entire body covered with sweat.

Beside Emil was Atlas, and Aquila, who had already lost consciousness because of blood loss, was in Atlas’s grasp.

Valera shot up from her chair, instantly covering her mouth as she muttered, "How did something like this happen?" She shook her head and quickly composed herself.

"Follow me. We can talk about this later. Right now, it’s more important to treat your summon." She turned around and hurried toward the connector.

Emil and Atlas followed behind her. Soon Emil noticed that they were about to enter the connector which led to the right. He had always felt chills from these two connectors, and now he was finally about to get to know what lay inside.

They traveled deeper inside, passing several rooms arranged along both sides of the corridor. Eventually, they stopped before the third room on the right.

Valera pushed the door open and shouted, "Sia! Emergency!"

A woman was sitting at a white table, which was covered with green cloth. On it were multiple documents on one side, and on the other were medications.

Inside the room were eight beds in total, four arranged along each side, facing one another. Each bed was separated by a large privacy curtain hanging from the ceiling. Beside every bed stood a small table with water and several electrolyte drinks placed on top.

Sia’s gaze shifted towards the door. She noticed Valera there. "Why are you in such a hurry? What kind of emergency is it?" She tilted her head before letting a faint cheeky chuckle pass her mouth. "Did you eat something bad once again?"

Valera didn’t respond to the statement. She simply stepped aside, bringing Emil and his injured summon into Sia’s view.

Sia’s eyes widened the moment she saw Aquila. She immediately stood up and hurried toward the bed, gathering the necessary tools and equipment to treat his wounds.

"Bring him here," she said.

Emil glanced at Atlas. He didn’t need to say a word; a simple look was enough to convey his command. Atlas immediately understood. He walked over to Aquila and gently placed his massive body onto the bed. Aquila’s enormous frame made the seven-foot bed look almost ridiculously small beneath him.

While preparing some medication, Sia said without looking away from Aquila, "Valera, take this kid and his summon out of the infirmary until I tell you both to come back."

Without wasting any time, both Emil and Valera walked out of the room.

Time started to pass. Emil tried to act calm, but he failed. Anxiety had taken over him, and because of that, he kept pacing from left to right.

Finally, the door to the infirmary opened and Sia stepped outside. Her brows were furrowed, her face looked as if life had been sucked out of it. A sigh left her mouth.

After looking at her, Emil instantly figured that something bad had happened to Aquila. But little did he know, Valera had already taken a sigh of relief.

"Did something happen to Aquila?" Emil said, his voice dripping with worry.

She remained silent for a few seconds before finally responding, "Everything is fine. Your summon is just... rather strange. A little too strange." She raised a brow, curiosity and suspicion evident in her expression.

"What do you mean?"

"His healing abilities are quite profound. Although I did cure the wound, the bleeding had already stopped long before. The blood inside his body had also begun regenerating." A smirk appeared on her face, her mana wrapped around her body as it began circulating. "Now tell me, what kind of summon is that?"
