Chapter 857 266: I'm a Die-Hard Fan of Boss Qiao! (11,000 Words)_2

Under scrutiny, Britney stuck out her tongue and said, "My vocal teacher said that those who show off in performances usually don't sing that well. The real singing masters integrate advanced techniques into stable performances."

There's truth in that!

As the saying goes, literature and sports both bloom... No, it's that literature and sports are inseparable, and there's some common ground. In people's minds, the greatest center in history, Jabbar, during his peak had techniques that were unpretentious but very advanced.

However... Zhang Hao said, "I have one practical role model to learn from, but there's another who looks cool and is also very skilled to learn from."

Aprile Clark immediately asked, "Who?"

"Michael Jordan."

"…"

The three were speechless.

Targeting Jordan alone to the dead end?

Delightfully entertaining!

"Who's the practical role model then?"

"A guy who looks ordinary, like a migrant worker uncle, not many people know him. Who do you think I should choose?"

"Jordan!"

Without a doubt, all three collectively chose Jordan.

Jordan's basketball moves are indeed nice to watch, and strong too!

For this kind of dilemma with too many quality options, it requires someone to help make the decision, Zhang Hao nodded, and chose this one.

Anyway, having learned Jordan's turnaround fadeaway, learning the jump shot should be feasible too.

The main thing is it's cool..."Eh?"

Zhang Hao thought for a moment...

"I play for the Lakers, wear the number 8, learning Jordan's jump shot... I'd better learn from that man!"

…

…

Though this year O'Neal, Zhang Hao, Ewing, Moning, Barkley, and the Magician dropped out of the All-Star Game, Zhang Hao once again declined to participate in the Dunk Contest, but the standard of this year's All-Star Game remains very high.

Without the Lakers' four stars, the West still has Payton + Kemp, Stockton + Malone, and the Rockets' Twin Towers; the East lacks two centers but has Pippen + Jordan, the Twin Hardaways, Weber, and Vin Baker's ultimate front-line combination.

Kenny Anderson, Grant Hill, Tim Hardaway, and Iverson, the four acknowledged crossover giants, will also compete on the same stage.

The Lakers' four All-Stars withdrawing ignited a two-day buzz, but by February 8, the stars participating in All-Star Weekend events gradually arrived in Cleveland for public appearances, refocusing media and fan attention on the events and the players participating.

By February 9, the All-Star Rookie Challenge proceeded smoothly.

In the morning, Iverson just promoted the 58 Platform for 58 Technology, an upgraded version of the original ICQ-game, now accurately described as a subscription gaming platform, starting to attract game companies and individual creators to release games, promoting them online, taking orders online, picking up goods in stores, collecting commissions, it's basically a money-losing software.

During the Rookie Challenge, Iverson went wild, in a shootout with Raheem, Iverson scored 38 points and 6 assists, surpassing Raheem's 26 points and 14 rebounds, leading the Eastern Rookies to a 109-101 victory over the Western Rookies, taking the Rookie Challenge MVP.

Zhang Hao, Aprile Clark, and Britney didn't watch this game, Pierce went alone but wasn't lonely at all. Zhang Hao got 4 All-Star Weekend package tickets, and since the three didn't go, Pierce used the Rookie Challenge ticket to invite three female college students to go with him...

Over the course of yesterday and today, Zhang Hao participated in a total of 16 endorsement brand activities, typically counting money. He didn't expect so many brands he endorses require him to participate in activities. It reminded him of the time shooting Ultraman during the offseason, needing to snap some photos frequently, but back then facing the camera every day didn't feel too taxing, now he knows it's tiring.

During yesterday and today's evenings, Zhang Hao trained jump shots on the outdoor court at the rented holiday villa. After determining the learning object on the 7th, in the learning mode early yesterday, he acquired the book "Basic Skills of the Jump Shot" as the new training material. In the simulated training, there was already footage of the player with a jersey number one above Jordan's, who was no longer a high schooler.

Research how to train in simulated practice first, practical training yesterday evening, then combining solved problems from actual training in simulated practice early today, continuing tonight...

Due to solid mid-range shooting fundamentals at top level, Zhang Hao learned relatively smoothly.

Fast is certainly not your speed throughout, those jump shot geniuses also accumulated years of basic skills to perform well in the NBA, it's not like it started out great, there's a process.

Zhang Hao isn't in a rush, taking it slow; besides, as long as he can use it well in games before that guy enters the NBA, now it's train, think, train, practice during games, think, train… taking it slow.

Another night passed, and by February 10, the comprehensive event day of All-Star Weekend arrived.

Today Zhang Hao only participated in two endorsement activities, one for Starbucks and one for sneakers.

Nike has always wanted to renew the contract with Zhang Hao, but Zhang Hao hasn't agreed.

In the past, there were no conditions, but now there are, he has his own ideas, back home, dad Zhang Weiguo has already started operating, requiring lots of money, technology, and connections... it's fortunate Howard Schultz has taken them under his wing, the start-up stage isn't problematic, Mr. Zhang only needs to do his own thing, which is to play basketball well, other matters have dad and Pelinka to handle.

Just watching as over 300 million US Dollars hadn't warmed up in the pocket yet but was practically all invested in that bottomless pit of an industry in its early phase, Zhang Hao felt a bit distraught...
