One Piece: Starting with Sharingan, I Joined the Straw Hat Pirates
Chapter 397: Splitting Up! Creating a Ruckus in Boro Town and the Courtesan's Procession
Wano Country, the dilapidated Amigasa Village.
Inside the drafty straw hut, everyone was lying scattered about, fast asleep in the cool morning breeze.
A moment later, Tatsuya slowly opened his eyes.
He frowned slightly, feeling the faint numbness in his arms.
Nami and Robin were on his left and right, using his arms as comfortable pillows, their faces peaceful in sleep.
He moved gently, as if afraid to shatter this rare dream, and pulled his arms out from under their necks bit by bit, fortunately without waking the two exhausted beauties.
Tatsuya lowered his head, left a warm kiss on each of the two women’s smooth foreheads, and then silently got up.
He reached back and grabbed the black sword “Shusui” placed to the side, softened his footsteps, and walked out the door through the gaps in the wooden floor.
The morning courtyard was filled with a thin mist, exuding a hint of desolate chill.
Kin’emon had not slept all night.
This loyal samurai stood there like an inanimate stone statue, his eyes full of complexity and heartache as he quietly watched Kanjuro, who was locked in a special cage.
Hearing the subtle movement behind him, Kin’emon immediately snapped back to reality, turned around, and bowed deeply to Tatsuya, who was walking over: “I leave it to you, Lord Tatsuya.”
“The trip to the Flower Capital is extremely dangerous, please be careful.”
Tatsuya looked at him, just nodded faintly, and didn’t say much: “Change my clothes for me; this trench coat is too eye-catching in Wano Country.”
“It is my honor.”
Kin’emon dared not delay, immediately formed seals with both hands, and unleashed the power of the Clothes-Clothes Fruit.
With a soft “bang” and a burst of white smoke, Tatsuya’s original attire was completely renewed.
A wide sedge hat sat snugly on his head, perfectly covering most of his face.
He wore a dark-colored ronin outfit that was well-tailored, exuding an aura of killing intent that kept strangers away, with the “Shusui” hanging at his waist.
Tatsuya looked down at this outfit and nodded in satisfaction.
He turned around alone, stepped with steady paces, and set off on the road to the Flower Capital—the political center of Wano Country.
A moment later, the warm sun dispelled the mist, and the people in the room woke up one after another.
Upon learning from Kin’emon that Tatsuya had already left alone, Luffy climbed up from the ground, yawned loudly, clasped his hands and stretched them upward, giving a comfortable stretch.
He grinned, pressed his Straw Hat, and his eyes flashed with undisguised excitement: “Yosh! Tatsuya has already set off, let’s hurry up too!”
To blend in with the local customs and avoid drawing attention, Kin’emon used his ability again to change the Straw Hat crew into suitable clothing with distinct Wano Country characteristics.
Subsequently, the Straw Hat crew set off with great momentum, swaggering towards the only prosperous area in Kuri.
That place was “Boro Town,” tightly controlled by the Beasts Pirates.
Their task was very simple, without any complicated tactics: cause as much trouble as possible to attract the enemy’s attention, while seizing clean food and water for Amigasa Village.
Not long after, Luffy and his party arrived outside Boro Town.
Standing on a small hill overlooking it, a tall and heavy wall stood up, forcibly dividing this land into two completely different worlds.
Looking at the mountains of fragrant, clean food and the clear, flowing water that hadn’t been contaminated by poison gas inside the town, and then turning to look outside the wall at the civilians who were barely clothed, starving to skin and bones, and could only survive by drinking poisoned water, the relaxed atmosphere of the Straw Hat crew instantly dropped to freezing point, and raging fire ignited in everyone’s eyes.
Luffy walked straight to the sturdy wooden gate of Boro Town without a word.
He raised his right leg high, covered it with Armament Haki, and then kicked forward with great force.
Accompanied by a deafening roar, the gate was shattered by his kick.
Countless sharp wood chips flew into the town like a black rain, mixed with a strong wind, knocking the guards behind the door over.
Luffy stepped on the broken wooden boards, strode into the town, took a deep breath, and declared loudly: “I am Monkey D. Luffy!”
“Hand over all the food and clean water you have here!”
The sudden violent attack shocked and angered Holdem and others, the “Headliners” of the Beasts Pirates stationed in Boro Town.
The alarm sounded, and Holdem immediately led a large number of Gifters with strange animal bodies and fierce faces to rush out from all directions to fight.
However, these guys who were used to throwing their weight around had no idea what kind of monsters they were facing.
Facing the Straw Hat crew, whose strength had long reached the level of an Emperor’s crew, this was completely a one-sided slaughter without any suspense.
Zoro curled his lips into a cold smile.
He held his sheathed sword with one hand and rushed into the crowd like a ferocious tiger entering a flock of sheep.
A casual swing of the sword hilt created a suffocating gust of wind and sword energy.
Groups of Gifters were like paper in front of this power, vomiting blood and falling in droves like mown wheat.
Sanji turned into an elusive red afterimage in mid-air.
His feet carried searing high-temperature flames, weaving through the enemy ranks like a butterfly in flowers.
Every precise kick was accompanied by the crisp sound of breaking bones, sending those huge beast Gifters flying dozens of meters away.
Luffy walked in the middle of the street as if he were taking a leisurely stroll.
His eyes focused, and a wave of invisible Conqueror’s Haki swept out in all directions like a stormy sea with him at the center.
Most of the guards in the town didn’t even touch the corner of Luffy’s clothes before their eyes rolled back and they foamed at the mouth, instantly losing all consciousness and collapsing softly on the bluestone pavement.
Meanwhile, completely different from the desolation and misery of Kuri, was the political and cultural center of Wano Country—the Flower Capital.
Here, cherry blossoms danced, and pink petals swirled and drifted in the breeze, like a dreamy pink drizzle.
The streets were paved with neat bluestone, lined with shops, taverns, cloth shops, and jewelry stores.
Dazzling goods exuded an alluring luster in the sun.
Samurai with swords at their waists and arrogant expressions, and geishas dressed in gorgeous clothes and walking with small steps, shuttled through the streets.
This place displayed a luxurious and distorted prosperity built on the blood, tears, and exploitation of countless civilians.
Tatsuya lowered his sedge hat and walked through the tall and magnificent city gate with steady and calm steps.
At the city gate, the Ninjas and samurai of the Orochi Oniwabanshu were staring wide-eyed, conducting strict and harsh checks on passing pedestrians.
But when Tatsuya walked by, he just narrowed his eyes slightly and silently released a trace of mental suggestion.
This illusion, as quiet as a breeze, instantly interfered with the sensory perception of all the guards around.
Even though such a tall ronin with a sword was walking right in front of them, these guards turned a blind eye to his existence, as if he were a mass of intangible air.
Tatsuya thus mixed into the bustling crowd of the Flower Capital like a ghost, without any obstruction.
Tatsuya strolled on the busy street, and his powerful Observation Haki spread silently with him at the center.
Just as Tatsuya was collecting information quietly, the street ahead suddenly boiled over without warning.
Countless civilians, samurai, and even some nobles who considered themselves noble, seemed to have gone crazy, crowding forward regardless.
Amidst the surging crowd, deafening enthusiastic cheers erupted.
Accompanied by the melodious and gentle sound of string and wind instruments from afar, the procession of the Flower Capital’s recognized number one beauty, the noble courtesan “Komurasaki,” officially began.
Surrounded by people like stars holding the moon, Komurasaki slowly entered people’s sight.
She wore a complex and magnificent twelve-layered ceremonial kimono, the silk texture shining in the sun.
She stepped on high wooden clogs, her pace light and swaying, exuding a charming charm with every step.
Her stunning and peerless face and noble, inviolable temperament were like a fatal poison.
The men on both sides of the street just took one look, and they all sprayed nosebleeds, their eyes hazy.
Some were even willing to go bankrupt just to get a closer look at her, and some even fainted on the spot due to excessive excitement.
Komurasaki held a beautiful folding fan, slightly covering her face.
Her soul-stealing eyes turned, revealing a charming smile that captivated all living beings to the crazy crowd around her, causing another round of hysterical screams.
In this noisy frenzy, Tatsuya stood in front of a railing of a tea house on the second floor by the street.
He hugged his chest with both hands, looking at the farce that was like a fanatical cult below with indifferent eyes, without a ripple in his heart.
Just at this moment, a sudden crosswind blew.
This wind lifted the hem of Tatsuya’s ronin robe, revealing the famous sword “Shusui” worn at his waist.
Komurasaki, who was enjoying the attention of everyone below, accidentally swept her peripheral vision upward.
As a result, she happened to catch a glimpse of the unique black sword on the second-floor railing.
As the princess of Wano Country, she naturally recognized the national treasure that had been missing for many years.
Komurasaki’s heart was shocked, she subconsciously raised her head, and her eyes looked up as if attracted by a magnet.
Just at the moment she looked up, her gaze collided with the deep, cold, and strange eyes under the sedge hat.
It was just this momentary eye contact that spanned space.
Komurasaki’s originally composed heart seemed to be struck by lightning.
She felt that all her disguises and all her secrets were stripped bare in front of these eyes.
In those eyes, there was no obsession or desire like the men below, nor was there any amazement at her beauty.
All there was, was a coldness as if a god were looking down at ants…
Tatsuya looked at the stunningly beautiful woman below and frowned slightly.
He turned around, his cold figure quickly blending into the dim shadows and disappearing.
The cheers on the street were still deafening, but Komurasaki felt as if she were in an ice cellar.
Her fingers gripped the folding fan tightly, her heart beating uncontrollably under her gorgeous clothes, and an unprecedented chill and curiosity intertwined in her heart.
“Who… who is that man?!”
