Chapter 74 - 74
Moving around at a high speed to grab Robin, Josh found some traces of some spies to the World Government.
They weren't agents. However, they were just hired people who were making their reports. After knocking them down, Josh went to Robin.
It didn't take him much time to find her since he had been focusing his hearing sense on her location ever since he let her move alone after Kalifa had told him about the protocols.
"What's the matter?"
Robin asked when she saw Josh flashing in front of her.
"Did you sell the gold," Josh asked directly.
Robin examined his facial expression. She put a hand on his hair and messed a bit with it.
"Half of it for a good 160 million. What happened. Did they track us here already?"
"Mm…" Nodding at her, Josh grabbed her from the waist and moved toward the meeting location at a very high speed, moving between the buildings so no one can see them.
When Robin arrived at one garden, where there were only a few people, she pointed at Kalifa, who was standing behind Mikita. Mikita didn't seem to mind her as she had been three days ago.
"What is she doing here?" Robin asked.
"Joshy has tamed her. She became a vampire after he used his Devil Fruit. I think she is good to serve with us. She can't escape the contact with him." Mikita stood up next to Robin and gave her a friendly elbow on the ribs.
Robin, feeling confused, massaged her forehead. "I just leave you for few minutes, and this happens. How did things develop this fast." Robin rolled her eyes.
Mikita explained to Robin how Kalifa had warned them about the protocols and they should be watched Robin decided to ask Josh why wouldn't he use that on them. Josh answer was simple.
He doesn't know if it would be bad for them. Besides, he doesn't want to see the women he loves turn into blood-sucking slaves to a devil.
Kalifa wasn't his woman or someone innocent, so he didn't feel pity trying things on her.
Knowing what's was his true desire, Robin approved Josh and hugged him. She always believed that Josh was a good guy who does things behind everyone's back, just for the greater good, just like he had done in Alabasta.
"Are we leaving, I'm quite sensitive to the sun," Kalifa said as she approached Josh.
Josh raised his hand. "I have to visit a friend first."
"Who?" Kalifa asked.
"I'm in a near place. Mikita, you tell them about IT." Josh walked past them and raised his hand.
He has to play the lottery now.
Meanwhile, When Mikita explained to the girls that Josh's trading with the Devil, all of them had a chill running through their spin.
She said she witnessed the miracles of items appearing in the middle of a devilish circle.
After Josh does the ceremony, things would either turn good or bad.
The girls only felt chill, except for Kalifa and Robin, who seemed to be more interested in history.
Robin raised her hand. "Can you tell me… Which culture the Devil Josh has drawn you think it belongs to."
"Ah…" Mikita scratched her hair, not knowing. "Kalifa, bring me some drink."
"With pleasure." Kalifa only turned and walked away.
"I'm afraid." Marianne hugged Mikita. "I already have enough enemies, I don't want another."
Ignoring Robin's questioning face, Mikita extended her hand toward Marianne and grabbing her closer.
"Don't worry, I was afraid at first as well. But the Devil won't hurt you unless you won't mess with it."

Staring at the map in front of him, Spandam rubbed his chin.
Thanks to the strict protocols of the agents, he was able to determine his next step against the gambler.
"Alright guys, here is a series of the islands the Gamblers should reach after leaving Don Accino's island, any suggestions?"
Currently, they were in a ship, one of four huge battleships, which was on the top of the sea.
Although pirates can't navigate in the Grand Line, the same can't be said to the marines and those who belonged to the World Government.
"Yes, go to this one." One man, leaning on the chair, said. As he lifted his head, which had a cap on it, his long nose was revealed. "If they used Internal Log, it would lead them to this island."
"Rob Lucci?" Spandam pointed to a man with a hat on top of his head. He was very tall, lean, and had a chin beard and curly shoulder-length hair.
Lucci had a cold expression on his face. "Just contact the spies for refreshment. We need to be done and then we go back to our location. The mission to look for the ancient weapon blueprint has yet to be completed."
Spandam clenched his fist and sighed. He was already having anger issues, but he can't just collapse at the right moment. Lucci is an excellent agent, the most loyal to the government. Unless Spandam cancels his mission, Lucci won't rest until he completes it.
"Yes, then go back to Water 7."
"Talking about Water Seven." The long-nosed man raised his head. "It had been days since I didn't see Kalifa. She was not reported to be dead."
"Well," Spandam frowned, like a child who is unable to contain his emotions.
"I can say, she isn't dead. Some troops in the sea had said that they passed by the Gambler. Rumours says that there is a beautiful blonde tied to a chair."
Spandam said the last part while biting on his bottom lip.
"If she was here to hear you, she would sue you for sexual harassment." Came a voice from behind.
"Argh, who said that!"
Spandam had a cold sweat when he turned and looked at the guy. Those words, when they come from Kalifa, would scare him. Although Spandam is the Cp9 leader, he doesn't mess with her.
Kalifa had been introduced due to her father, who has promoted from CP9 tens of years ago to CP9 when she was a child.
And you don't want an old agent to be after you, not someone who may have been promoted to an unknown rank.

Josh stood up after he was sitting.
Today was his Tuesday, the day he had assumed to be his lucky day for drawing.
Although agents of the WG are surrounding him here, Josh believed that it's early to determine his luck.
You can't say someone is lucky or not when the situation is good. But you can say it when it's bad.
As he knows that agents are in the surrounding water and that they can come here at any given moment, Josh could escape now to the sea.
However, knowing that the agents are after him here, he knew that he has a better advantage here. He didn't like to risk his ship getting destroyed in the middle of the sea because he would definitely face many ships on the way, and he can't afford to lose his ship in the Grand Line.
Josh looked at his Draw Points, A cold smile appearing on his face.
