One Piece: Alucard the Immortal

Chapter 813 - 812: The Final Curtain Call

  • Next Chapter

A month had passed since the battle on Kairyu Island drew to a close. The Straw Hat Alliance was completely annihilated, leaving only a tiny handful of survivors who posed no threat whatsoever, now locked away inside Impel Down.

Just yesterday morning, Kuzan had personally sent a wire to Alucard, detailing the sentencing and imprisonment schedule for the surviving members of the alliance.

Pet, Tony Tony Chopper: 2 years

Navigator, Nami: 30 years

Sniper, Usopp: Life imprisonment

Shipwright, Franky: Life imprisonment

Alucard merely spared a passing glance at the contents of the report before casting it aside. The three Straw Hat brothers who served as the vanguard of that movement had already met their end. Those remnants wouldn’t pose the slightest threat even if they were released from prison this very instant and stood directly before him.

"Dreams are things that will never die! I want to see for myself exactly what the Pirate King left behind at Laugh Tale."

Led by Trafalgar Law, the younger generation of pirates still set their sights on the Great Treasure left behind by Gold Roger, the One Piece, embarking on a brand-new voyage to seek it out.

Yet Alucard remained completely indifferent toward that legendary treasure.

In fact, it could be said that no matter what Roger had left behind on the Final Island, it no longer carried any weight.

This era now belonged to the "Immortal." Or rather, this entire world was now named "Immortal."

Because the Immortal Pirates had ceased recruiting new members under their banner, a massive Marine force led by the newly appointed Fleet Admiral Kuzan began aggressively hunting down and capturing rogue pirates who dared to stir up chaos across the seas.

Five years later, the lingering influence of the Great Pirate Era had gradually faded into obscurity, leaving behind only that small, select elite serving directly under the Immortal Pirates.

And this man, the first Fleet Admiral in Marine history to ever hold a pirate background, had contributed an indelible Chapter toward the total eradication of the pirate era. Future historians would find themselves completely divided, their evaluations locked in fierce, polarized debate.

Over twenty years later, Kuzan officially announced his retirement. Succeeding him was Marine Admiral Shirokitsune Alessia, whom Alucard had transformed into a vampire, granting her eternal youth.

Furthermore, through the diplomatic bridges built by Koala, a revolutionary who, though not formally part of the Neo Revolutionary Army, embodied the spirit of one better than anyone else, every single one of the 153 nations originally governed by the World Government raised Alucard’s sigil just three years after the battle of Kairyu Island.

As for the few nations that refused... their ultimate fate could easily be imagined.

Although Alucard possessed absolute, centralized authority over the entire globe, he had zero interest in replicating the tyrannical methods of the Celestial Dragons and the Gorosei. The actual administrative governance of the world was left to the Marines and a faction of politically astute individuals under Alucard’s command, led by Koala.

Unlike the Gorosei before them, these new rulers never allowed themselves to bloat with arrogance from their positions of power. They remained acutely aware that the pure darkness of "Alucard the Immortal" lay perpetually dormant on an island situated deep within the New World.

The slightest misstep on their part would be more than enough to unleash a darkness that could swallow the world whole.

As the world settled into a lasting era of peace, Alucard watched the world he had occupied for over thirty years slowly begin to mirror the mundane, tedious life of his previous existence.

This place could perhaps be described as his "hometown," but it was by no means a sanctuary where he wished to remain indefinitely.

Six months after the grand war with the Straw Hat Alliance concluded, the few remaining prominent figures of the pirate world, such as Dracule "Hawkeye" Mihawk and Gecko Moria, challenged him one after another.

Aside from Hawkeye, the rest were nothing more than worthless hacks in Alucard’s eyes.

Yet even Hawkeye failed to spark a true sense of thrill or amusement within him.

Ultimately, he resolved to make use of his thoroughly mastered spatial traversal technique, Stray Cat, to journey to the next world.

It would not be a return to the previous two worlds inhabited by Esdeath or Yukina Himeragi, but rather a far more high-stakes, dangerous universe capable of providing him with genuine entertainment.

This was no longer a mere training excursion. Once he departed, there was no telling how long he would be gone.

But it mattered little. The title of No-Life-King was certainly no joke.

Alucard’s departure was known only to a selective, intimate few across the entire world, specifically the core inner circle of women he had personally transformed into vampires.

He had systematically dismantled an entire era, yet in doing so, he had forged a completely new one.

He was the single most prolific killer in pirate history, yet from a certain perspective, he had ultimately salvaged a world pushed to the brink of ruin by pirate lawlessness.

To the masses, he might be remembered as a walking nightmare, a demon incarnate, or perhaps a hero and a savior.

But to Alucard himself, this world had been nothing more than a passing interlude.
