Chapter 1294 - 1290: Everything That Is

Igor sighed. He felt that their top priority now was to share all information with the Kangen Family, so they could filter out the useless information. He conveyed this idea to Old Cole.

"Hmm, the news from Luona is essential for us," Old Cole also sensed the significance of Luona's news; he viewed the entirety of the matter rather thoroughly.

"Then we cannot waste any more time," said Igor. His words carried much of his emotional baggage, feeling as though he had already wasted too much time, trapping himself in a disadvantageous situation.

"Yes, I know you're anxious, but you need to calm down. Follow me, we're off to see the elder," Old Cole led the way. Although he couldn't decide on many matters, he believed his insight wasn't wrong, and the elders wouldn't dismiss Igor's proposal.

Soon, Igor and Kadi followed Old Cole to the Kangen Family's council hall, where both the new and old family leaders and some elders were discussing affairs.

"Leader, elders," Old Cole paid his respects, which made Igor feel somewhat uncomfortable. Old Cole, being elderly, was still required to show courtesy, which seemed a bit unnecessary to him.

These family etiquettes and rules were indeed baffling to Igor.

"Oh, you've arrived. How well did the meeting with Her Royal Highness Princess progress?" asked the old leader first.

Pete Kangen might have stepped down from his position as leader but he still participated in the family's deliberations, as invited by the new leader Will Kangen. As for Pete Kangen's daughter Bigas, her role in various incidents within the family no longer raised eyebrows towards Pete Kangen.

This was undoubtedly due to many important events that had happened recently.

No one could ascertain exactly what kind of enemy they were facing, but everything pointed to the organization that recently gained prominence—the Alchemy Workshop.

The old leader was now concerned about the meeting between Igor and Princess Juliette, as he was the one who arranged it and wanted to know if any sparks had flown.

"The meeting went exceedingly well, with rich discussions, and the outcomes were as expected," Old Cole slowly replied. Being part of the meeting, he was naturally well aware of what transpired.

"In other words, our speculations have become certain."

"Indeed!" Old Cole replied firmly. They had confirmed that the Alchemy Workshop was the enemy.

"We haven't taken any action mainly due to harboring a slight hope for the Alchemy Workshop, but now it appears that the last remnants of hope have vanished."

"Don't say that, old leader. The Alchemy Workshop is currently under the control of the wicked; their existence is not a mistake," stated a Kangen Family elder frankly, a sentiment shared by many.

"Yes!" echoed Igor, "The whole chaos originated from that Kuyi Tulan!"

"Who is this?" Many Kangen Family elders were unfamiliar with Igor; they knew Kadi well due to the commotion he caused at the entrance, his blue skin leaving an impression. As for Igor, his ordinary appearance probably led many to forget him quickly.

"He is our esteemed guest!" Will Kangen stood and said, obviously respectful towards Igor.

The leader's respect led others to stand as well, making Igor quite embarrassed, unsure how to react.

"We are discussing how to handle the Alchemy Workshop, now that you're here, join us," Will said, effectively extending an invitation to Igor.

"We are here primarily for the purpose of Information Sharing!" Kadi suddenly felt neglected and seized the opportunity to assert himself.

"Uh..." Igor felt the bitterness of being interrupted; the taste was quite sour.

"Information Sharing?" The Kangen Family members found this confusing, wondering what it had to do with their discussions.

"They possess information from Luona, which can aid us and help us bypass many detours," Old Cole explained. He understood the entire matter, thus possessing the right to speak and a duty to clarify. No choice, as these two youths were always inclined to act rashly.

"Yes, indeed, we believe it's necessary to discuss and decide on what actions we should take," Igor hurriedly added, bewildered by Kadi's abrupt interjection.

Kadi, unwilling to be outdone, blinked his eyes: "Don't be constrained by surface phenomena; many things are simpler than they appear. It's all the doing of Soul Devourer."

The key point being expressed, it stunned everyone present; they hadn't had time to analyze the situation when the blue-skinned friend had already offered an answer—and a rather good one.

The revelation left many frozen, unsure of what to say.

"Why are you all silent?" Kadi asked curiously, wondering why his words had muted the others, pondering if he said something wrong.

"Kadi," Igor sighed beside him, "Your urgency only instills awkwardness!"

Kadi couldn't grasp why his words would lead to embarrassing situations, believing he was quite measured.

"I know you're perplexed, but we can't treat everyone as if they're oblivious. The issue you mentioned has been considered by all. We're here merely to consolidate necessary and unnecessary information."

Igor's explanation still left Kadi somewhat perplexed...

"Alright, Igor, since Kadi's pointed out matters everyone knows, let's address the considerations for dealing with Soul Devourer; we have much to do..."

Will Kangen's words broke the awkward atmosphere, instantly energizing the council hall.

Regarding Soul Devourer, the Kangen Family wasn't entirely ignorant, but they misinterpreted the phenomenon as another force, leading them down a convoluted path.

Now, they've finally found the right path...

"Besides discussing Soul Devourer, we need to talk about His Majesty, Prince Charles' letter. Oh, did Luona mention this letter from His Majesty?" Will Kangen looked towards Igor.

"No," Igor shook his head, then furrowed his brows. "Is His Majesty, Prince Charles, the one in Burstan?"
