Novel Full Chapter 2881: The Gods Became Silent
The gods could feel a powerful magic caster that enveloped the world with their own magic. This magic power is also something so potent that even gods would want to have it. The gods even used their own eyes to see outside of the main world just to be sure. When they looked at the main world from beyond it, they could see a large magic circle covering the entire world.
This magic circle is so intricate and detailed that the gods that were famed for their intelligence and wisdom wanted to have this for themselves. The problem is that the magic circle that is covering the entire world can only be powered by the energy given off by its creator. It was a tailored magic circle that no one can easily copy even if they are a god because the core parts of it are being hidden.

Numerous notifications could be seen on Adrian’s screen as the gods of intelligence, wisdom, or writing is praising his work. The magic circle that even made gods amazed is something no mortals can do. In fact, Adrian has gained a bonus to his abilities as a Scribe when he came back from the past when he possessed the First Summoner.
Adrian carried all of the knowledge that he has accumulated at that time which made his abilities skyrocket. In fact, he even modified all of the magic circles that he has right now which means he has more control over his magic more than ever. He can even choose the effect of his chaos magic on his specific spells because of this. If he could make chaos energy work in a stable way, he can make any magic more powerful and stable.
Adrian did not just get the attention of the gods of intelligence, wisdom, or writing but the other gods as well. He has gained all of the attention of the gods which meant that all of them started to look for him. It did not take long for the gods to find the source of the anomaly happening to the world right now.
The gods worshipped by the guild alliance know that their followers are preparing for something that the Mediator of Death and Mediator of Life will do which is why they are keeping quiet. They heard from their believers that this is something needed to be done for world stability which is why they are not searching for the source of the anomaly. The gods that know has already attributed this anomaly to the mediators but these gods are quite few.
A vast majority of gods do not know what is happening because they care not for what their believers believe or they descended to the mortal realm. Gods have also become very curious as they are practically immortal and are bored beyond belief. They like stimulus which made them do the most foolish thing they could have done. All of them stared into the location of the source where the anomaly is happening.
All of the gods peeked into Neo Alfheim where Adrian is currently staying. Most of these gods do not know what chaos energy is and became even more curious. Adrian did not care about the eyes directed at him as he is more focused on making sure that this merging of worlds is a success. In fact, he did not even care if someone looked at him now and try to ascertain his nature.
The gods became so curious that they even used their divine power to magnify at the being in the magic circle located atop the tree of life in Neo Alfheim. As soon as they zoomed in, all of them saw a humanoid made of black mass that has spheres of different colored light floating inside of him. When they tried to check what kind of being this is, the body that can only be a black mass suddenly grew demon eyes on its body and stared back at the gods.

Adrian suddenly got bombarded with messages that his skill Abyss was activated. These notifications continued lots of times that he had no choice but to put it on silent since he is currently focusing. He already felt that Alfheim and the main world are now vibrating at the same frequency.
As Adrian focused and is trying to block the noise his notifications was generating, a large number of gods were screaming in pain as they felt their heads trying to split apart. All of these gods were the one that peered using divine energy to ascertain the source of the anomaly. All of them saw a terrifying monster that lives and dwells in the deepest forbidden area of the Void and it tried to devour their minds.
Adrian did not know but the antics of those gods created some form of apocalypse to some of the clergy. The statues of some of the gods cracked while some started to produce blood tears. These were signs that the gods were in trouble as their symbols carry power after all. It is also a time where champions and envoys of those gods lost their divine power for a few minutes.
Numerous players that relied on the divine power of their gods suddenly got killed as they were unable to channel their given blessings. Some players thought that this was a bug as there were some groups that basically lost their blessings for a few minutes. A lot of players reported that they were killed because their skills refused to activate even if they have it on cooldown and have the necessary mana cost.
The gods literally became silent for a few minutes because most of them tried to look into what Adrian is. In fact, the Evergreen guild members that were staring at what Adrian was doing have now fainted. They were still fine when Adrian was still a mass of black energy with spherical lights of different colors. When Adrian’s body suddenly sprouted numerous demonic eyes, the Evergreen Guild members that looked at him fainted in an instant as if they should not have seen it.
All of the players in the world have reported this event as a bug because of what happened. When the developers replied to them that it was not a bug and everything that happened was within the scope of the game, the players started to dig on what happened. All of the players then received news that numerous statues of gods cracked.
They even reported that some gods that descended had to retreat for a special ceremony but it was just because they screamed in front of their priests. All of the players wondered what happened to those gods because not all of the gods were affected. A small minority of gods were fine and those that are part of the Twin Gods faction were not even affected at all.
The players can only say that something must have happened to make the gods need rest. This special instance was dubbed as the Moment the Gods Became Silent. It is a fitting name for the event where numerous gods became unable to give blessings or powers to their believers.
What the players did not know is that the main bodies of these gods were affected. They all used the divine spark main bodies in their divine realm to peer into Neo Alfheim. All of them were then afflicted by Adrian’s Abyss skill. This skill targets the souls of those that peer into Adrian directly and deals more damage if they tried to look into his soul.
In fact, the gods would have suffered for a day or so if they peered directly into Adrian’s soul. They only got a jolting headache that feels like their head is splitting apart because they gazed at his body with divine intent. The severity is controlled because Abyss activated instantly when Adrian is in his current form. They did not even know who did this to them but they were all terrified to check again.
