Chapter 2856: The Plan for World Fusion II

Adrian got the message from Levin Cloud that Alfheim is getting destroyed much earlier than they have anticipated. If they want to merge Alfheim back to the main world, they need to do it within a week but there are numerous problems plaguing the world. Adrian looked at the guild alliance channel and everything is currently chaotic because of the territories of the members being attacked simultaneously.

Adrian already knew that something must be at play here because they were all attacked at the same time. The other guilds were not attacked like them which means that the gods have collaborate with the players. There is another guild alliance that is targeting theirs or there might be an organization in the shadows that is controlling everything.

Adrian checked the news and even read that the Celestial Guild which is under Hou Yiwei is attacked as well. There is another guild that moves in the shadows that is attacking other top guilds and medium ranked guilds. He does not know if this is all just coincidence as there is also the sudden awakening of the Primordial Beast Nidhogg.

The Great Mother Tree has told them that the Primordial Beast Nidhogg would still be asleep for a decade or so. This is also the life expectancy of the Great Mother Tree as her life is tied to whether the Primordial Beast Nidhogg awakes or not. The fact that the Primordial Beast Nidhogg became even more powerful and started to devour the Great Mother Tree is not a good sign.

The week that Levin Cloud gave Adrian is already an optimistic timeline as the Primordial Beast Nidhogg could just devour the world tree if it plans to sacrifice some of its body. The only reason the Primordial Beast Nidhogg is not going recklessly for the kill is due to the fact that its benefactor might have been expecting something from it.

The Primordial Beast Nidhogg has become intelligent and no longer mindlessly chewing at the roots of the world tree. One of the reasons why one decade is possible before is due to the fact that the Primordial Beast Nidhogg often moved by instinct. The fact that is has become a real hunter that can destroy the world tree is a death sentence to Alfeim.

Levin Cloud also told him that the ley lines of Alfheim have already been infiltrated by the Primordial Beast Nidhogg. This means that the Primordial Beast Nidhogg could see some things in the world. It is a good thing that Levin Cloud could control the ley lines to a degree which means their meeting with the elementals and Faekin will not get seen by the Primordial Beast Nidhogg.

To make matters worse for Adrian, he could feel an ominous presence at the far eastern side of the central continent. As soon as he became a demigod level being, he could feel parts of the world or phenomena that can disrupt the natural flow. He does not know if this came with his racial qualities as those things are often hidden abilities in the game.

Adrian went to the territories of the guild alliance members that were under attack. Some were under attack by monster hordes, some were attacked by secret organizations, and some were even under attack by players that are basically like mercenaries. It was the day they felt the power of the Demon once again and made the world recognize how powerful he was.

It took about two days for Adrian to finish helping the guild alliance members and he also got used to navigating his new abilities. He no longer feels like his new body is too heavy as he is now in sync with it. He did not reveal much of his abilities as there is still the issue of a hidden player guild targeting them or something. He needed to conceal some of his skills so that even enemies will be caught off-guard.

“I already have everything prepared on my end for the world fusion. I have three days in terms of free time. Should I already get the other parts of the soul that the Monkey King has dispersed?” Adrian thought as he has two new soulbound slots.

Adrian already got a taste of how powerful the original monkey king was and its skills were very overpowered in his opinion. If he could evolve the being that is created from completing the three fragmented souls then he will get a version of the monkey king. A divine being that serves under him will be a good thing as his enemies are now mostly gods and divine beasts.

“The soul fragments are in the eastern continent and the southern continent. Will I be able to finish that in three days?” Adrian thought but he immediately changed his mind and pushed through with it.

“If I get hit by a blocker then I will just return back to deal with the Primordial Beast Nidhogg.” Adrian thought as he flicked his wrist and a portal easily opened.

Adrian stepped inside the portal and he is suddenly in a place in the eastern continent. This place is near the mountains that look like pillars. Adrian recognizes this as it is one of the mountains where the sect called Wudang is operating in. They are a martial sect that is said to practice Taoist beliefs and it is also reflected in their martial sword arts.

“The soul fragment is actually reacting to that thing.” Adrian muttered as he saw a stone statue of a dragon coiling in a pond.

Adrian is wondering how he will go inside and ask for that thing when he noticed several figures appear a few feet next to him. They were all Immortals that are riding on swords as a means to fly through the air. Adrian thought that they would all attack him but all of them suddenly bowed and referred to him with a title that he did not expect.

“We greet the Heavenly Demon!” The Wudang Immortals stated which made Adrian speechless.

Description: A title that was given by the Murim alliance which is why it is not as strong as the original title that once spread fear in the eastern continent. If the Heavenly Demon Cult learns that you bear this title then you will be hunted down by them to regain the lost honor of their destroyed cult.

The title that Adrian is being called is something that is rather known in Murim as one of their greater enemies in the past. If the Heavenly Demon Cult is still here, they would definitely try to kill Adrian for defiling the title that is only supposed to be given to the leader and revered god of their cult.

“Uhmm… are you really taking about me?” Adrian asked as he knows that he has changed in appearance by quite a bit.

“Yes! We would never forget the real savior of the eastern continent as we were there when everything was about to be destroyed. You are the benefactor of the eastern continent and should be remembered throughout history as the Heavenly Demon. The Murim Alliance has decided to give you a reward but you were very busy hence it has yet to be given.” One of the Wudang Immortals stated.

“You definitely gave me a troublesome title because it will also lessen a headache for all of you if that cult is revived. Since that is the case, I will not be shy in asking for what I want. I am in need of an item and that item is currently hidden in that coiling dragon. I hope that you can accept my request.” Adrian stated.

“That is merely decoration… is the heavenly demon sure that there is something there?” The Wudang Immortals asked as they were all looking at each other to see if there really is something there but all their expressions say otherwise.
