Chapter 2837: Chaos Armaments VI

Adrian almost fainted when he read all of the effects of the new skills that he has for the scythe armament. The Void Severing Scythe that he summoned is not like the previous scythe that he has as it is now like a mixture of void elements and galaxy elements. The handle of the sight is made of pitch-black metal that absorbs any type of light. Even light magic will be absorbed by this scythe as if to say that even light cannot escape its grasps.

The long, slender, and smooth handle pair well with the slick design of the lower portion of the scythe. The lower part of the scythe has this small sharp crystal that shines like the star but there is also a chain connected to it that travels all the way up to Adrian’s arms. It seems that the Void Severing Scythe is now permanently connected to Adrian’s right arm.

One would think that he can no longer throw the scythe but that is not the case. He can still throw the Void Severing Scythe and the chains made of dark starlight will extend naturally. He can even use the chains of dark starlight to try and bind his enemies further. This is a good addition to the scythe armament as it usually has trouble with hitting enemies despite being very powerful.

The dark starlight chains are not the only thing that is very eye catching as the very top of the scythe where the blades made of glimmering stars are present is also a sight to behold. There is literally a small black hole pulsing and even expelling dark matter at the top of the scythe. It seems that the scythe armament also has properties that are of the Void which Adrian found strange as this armament should have been forged using chaos energy.

The blade that is incredibly sharp and curved looks like it is made of light but can be as strong as orichalcum when lethality is needed. In fact, if the blade of the Void Severing Scythe is hidden, the handle alone looks like Adrian is wielding a staff for magic. Adrian even wondered if he looked like some sort of Void Mage if he hides the blade of the scythe.

“Out of all the armaments, the Void Severing Scythe is the most versatile as it can deal with large numbers of enemies while also having a powerful execute skill as the ultimate skill.” Adrian commented as he then proceeded to get giddy as he could not believe the effects of the skills that his Chaos Armaments have.

The Chaos Armaments are a huge improvement from the Primordial Armaments. The Chaos Armaments basically patched the weaknesses of the previous versions of their armaments. Some even got upgraded entirely like the Cosmic Prism. The fact that Adrian will still have the damage absorb charge but also deal damage when the prism is destroyed is a great improvement. He could basically bait enemies into destroying the prisms he creates.

“The only problem now is that I do not know the power of the Chaos Armaments. Has Frey already arrived?” Adrian muttered as he immediately checked the guild house database to check if Frey has already entered the guild house and she has.

“Sorry for being late. Your sister wanted to talk to me about something related to her quest right now. Thanks for waiting.” Frey stated as Adrian is still shocked about her overall beauty even to this day.

“Yup! Haha. Wait? Why did my sister want to talk to you? Anyways, I can see that you have already changed to a different gear. Even your armor has changed greatly while you spear now looks enchanted with prismatic light.” Adrian stated as Frey has different armor compared to before.

Valkyries that use spears as weapons need to be agile but they do not sacrifice good armor for that. All of them will still wear armor that is heavy but they must be tightly fitted to their body. This is the reason why Valkyrie armor tends to be form fitted to their bodies. This is a great way to armor up but it is also incredibly difficult to find a blacksmith that can do a good job.

Blacksmiths usually hate form fitting armor as those can be easily destroyed if the enemy has more power than the armor itself. Unlike bulky armor that provides another layer of protection, form fitting armor will endanger the owner once it fails. Still, the Valkyries usually use form fitting armor as their battle style is both brute force and martial form.

Frey’s new form fitting armor has the elements of the Goddess Freyja on it as there are numerous runes related to her engraved in it. Frey also has armor that is now in a platinum white color with silver accents to it. There are also shoulder guards that have the image of the wolf as Frey is blessed by a divine wolf. There is also a small veil that is made up of silk weaved using prismatic light.

Along with Frey’s demeanor, she looked like a divine warrior sent by the gods to punish a demon. The spear that Frey’s using also changed much as she used numerous rare metals to upgrade it to a mythical tier weapon. Adrian almost dropped in his knees when Frey told him the items that she used to make the weapon into that tier. She even used a Semi-Divine item to imbue the spear with the indestructible trait.

“Why do I feel like I am the one that will be beaten up? You also feel different as if you are closer to a divine being that ever. Yet, I cannot feel the traces of the Goddess Freyja on you. Do not tell me that she already rescinded her offer of you being her vessel? I might need to talk to her if that is the case since choosing vessels are sacred rights for gods after all and they must not take it back unless you did an unforgivable sin.” Adrian asked.

“Calm down. The aura that you are now feeling from me is due to the fact that the Goddess Freyja has no longer appointed me as a vessel because she can descend when she wants to. Also, the Goddess Freyja herself looked after me for my job advancement class. I am now of the Maiden of Valkyria job class which is superior to being the goddess’ vessel.” Frey stated as she continued to explained what happened to her.

During Frey’s job class enhancement, the Goddess Freyja found that Frey’s soul has already absorbed too much of the goddess’ divine spark remnants. If Frey continues to become her vessel and call upon her to descend onto her body then there might be a possibility for them to merge completely. Even the Goddess Freyja did not expect that there will be a mortal being that will be the perfect vessel for her.

Still, the Goddess Freyja does not want to trap Frey into just becoming her vessel as the former treats her like her own child. In the end, the Goddess Freyja had to intervene in Frey’s job class advancement to transfer her to a hidden job class. A hidden job class that basically transformed the remnant divine sparks of the Goddess Freyja in Frey’s body into a new form of power.

Frey managed to succeed such a gruesome trial and emerged as a demigod level being. In terms of Persona, Adrian is still far superior as he is an Asmodian and a rare form of Noblesse but Frey is only under him by a few spots. Frey’s new hidden job class basically reforms the remnant divine sparks of the Goddess Freyja in her body into her own divine energy. Basically, the Goddess Freyja has paved the way for Frey to become a goddess of her own uniqueness.

“WOW! You sound really powerful.” Adrian stated with full shock and adornment.

“You say that to me but it seems that your face has been trending for the past few days already.” Frey stated while in a pout which would have shocked anyone watching as their ice-cold warrior goddess is now acting cute in front of another.

“Really? I have yet to see any news regarding myself these days as I was too busy advancing my job class. Conveniently, you also need a sparring partner for your new job class. Are you ready?” Adrian asked.

“I am always ready for a fight. Just make sure to not hold back and even use your soulbounds if you want.” Frey stated with confidence.

“If I did that then you would be defeated in just a few minutes. I have become very strong when I evolved into a Noblesse after all. I am not bragging but it is an objective observation of my current self from my past self. If my past self is already a bomb, then this version of me is a nuclear warhead.” Adrian stated without a shred of dishonesty as what he said is very true.

“Then fighting against me would prove to be a challenge then. I am also way better than my old self but if you want to handicap yourself then make sure to stick to that through the end. Do not go crying to me that you only lost because you did not use your soulbounds.” Frey stated with a smile as she is also incredibly confident in herself.

“Shall we test that then? If you manage to make me summon my soulbounds then it will already be your win. You will get one promise voucher from me.” Adrian stated sheepishly which Frey accepted with a smile.
