Chapter 2829: The Sacrifice of Telos III

“Thank you for your sacrifice, Pyli. I will definitely wait for you at the end of all of this. This is a promise that I make. Not just to you but also to Vio.” Adrian stated as he then proceeded to use the power hidden in the depths of the Daemos Creation Relic.

Pyli wanted to say something to Telos because he could see the body of his young master breaking down. He did not find it strange if his young master suddenly explodes into nothingness as cracks could be seen in his entire body. Adrian did not stop as he instantly isolated this space so that no other being except an Asmodian or Daemos could access it.

“I should also send it elsewhere because I am sure those two would have called for reinforcements.” Adrian stated as he did not want the space he created to be seen by others at the moment since it is a special place designed to look for a successor.

Adrian did ask the Dullahan back then if there were others that managed to enter. The Dullahan told him that there were some beings that had the power similar to its master but they did not have the heart. As soon as they passed Pyli’s initial test and learned about the Undead Abyss Dragon on the depths, all of them escaped as they feared for their lives. It then took another thousand years until Adrian found the tomb because of some luck.

“Guard the place well, Pyli. May we meet again.” Adrian stated as he then proceeded to use the hidden energy in the Daemos Creation Relic.

Adrian’s eyes suddenly turned pitch black with only specks of white in them. As soon as his eyes turned this way, Pyli immediately sensed immense pressure as if it was nothing of this world. He could feel the power of the Void and that is something taboo even for the Daemos. The Void is a place where even the Asmodians do not dare to enter as it is a place where time, space, and force is twisted.

“Journey well and may we meet again, young master.” Pyli stated as he kneeled.

Adrian smiled and created a small portal on the ground made of pure darkness. He jumped into the portal and it vanished as it swallowed him. Adrian then felt his entire body descending at an extremely fast rate. He did not feel any pain though because his body has now become numbed as it started to break down faster than before.

Cracks could be seen on Adrian’s body as his entirety leaked Chaos Energy. Adrian targeted the deepest part of the Void which is a place even the Void Rulers avoid. This is the place where the will of the Void is located and any Void Ruler that comes here will be taken over and subjugated by it. Adrian felt the eyes of numerous beings look at him but all those gazes vanished as soon as he landed at the depths of the Void.

“I guess… I only have little time left.” Adrian stated as his left arm has now turned transparent and particles of light started to seep out of his body.

Adrian could only feel sorry for Telos as he felt the pain and suffering of the First Summoner. He is the one that should have been praised as a hero to be remembered in the stories. If he did not sacrifice everything, the entire world’s history would have been different. A God of the Undead would have been born.

“I wish I could actually lie better for them because Telos’ soul would not be safe as there is no god of death in the Void. Still, my only wish is that Telos soul can reach the afterlife even if it takes a long time.” Adrian stated with a sad smile but this is what Telos also did.

Adrian then plunged his own right hand onto the Eye of Chaos. He felt Telos’ soul getting pierced in the process as the two entities started to assimilate one another. He did expect that the Eye of Chaos to resonate with the soul of its host but he did not expect it to be at this extent. If he does not do it properly then Telos’ soul could shatter or even be extinguished in the process.

“The power of Chaos can bring forth miracles but not in ways one can expect. Still, I should do my best since this is already the end.” Adrian shouted as he utilized whatever chaos energy that he could use to the fullest to create a spell.

Adrian created a spell that will protect the soul of Telos but he did not know what will happen to it after that. It might float forever in the Void or something but the soul will be protected until it reaches the afterlife. It might take a very long time but Telos’ soul should be delivered into the afterlife.

“If it comes down to it, I shall fetch it myself!” Adrian stated as his resolve and the spell is completed.

Adrian managed to tear up the Eye of Chaos and the will of the Void shuddered. Unknown tendrils started to come from nowhere and Adrian gave the Eye of Chaos to the will of the Void. It seems that history was set from this point on and now he knows why the Eye of Chaos is activated in the depths of the Void. It was Telos that offered the Eye of Chaos to the will of the Void for protection.

“Please protect it and if you can… send my soul back to the main world.” Adrian stated as his body exploded into particles of light and a soul with the form of a bead dropped.

The Will of the Void absorbed the Eye of Chaos and then manifested its form which is of a large black hole in the form of an eye. The Eye of Chaos which can now be called as the Eye of the Void then sent the soul of Telos hurling towards the endless Void but Adrian did not see it.
