Chapter 2822: The Fate of the First V

“KRAHHHHH!”

The loud scream of the Corrupted Witch erupted as they were now an hour away from the location. It seems that even the Corrupted Witch is also pushing herself in order to try and eliminate Adrian and his party. Adrian is actually quite shocked to see the Corrupted Witch reach their speed because it is already sacrificing its own soul to boost itself.

“That hag is really that desperate! Should I stall her?” Boulder asked as he was ready to jump away to deal with the Corrupted Witch.

“No! You cannot defeat her alone. We are only a few minutes away from the Eden Sanctuary and our reinforcements.” Adrian stated as he knew that Boulder will just commit a pointless sacrifice if he tries to fight the Corrupted Witch now.

Boulder is not on the same power level as the Corrupted Witch and it would take all three of them together to defeat her. Bloom also agreed to Adrian’s suggestion as she could determine the power level of the enemy chasing them and it is something that they cannot contend with alone. She cares deeply for Boulder which is why she actually physically stopped him via a hug as her words could not escape from her mouth due to worry.

“I got it. I got the message. I will not be reckless and charge in.” Boulder stated as he eased up a bit.

“I can see the Eden Sanctuary!” Adrian shouted as he could see that place called the Grove of Mist which is surrounded by a mysterious mist that can form monsters.

“Are mists supposed to be dark in color?” Boulder stated as Adrian and Bloom immediately knew that something must have gone wrong.

[You have arrived in the Grove of Mists but a complication has arised.]

[Your delivery mission of the Daemos Creation Relic is now changed to the Protection of the Daemos Creation Relic.]

[Protect the Daemos Creation Relic from the enemies in order to complete this mission.]

“Our reinforcements are no more as they are fighting numerous wraiths as well.” Bloom stated as she checked the area and could see that the Daemos around them were all fighting against undead.

“The Corrupted Witch is also catching up.” Boulder stated as he looked behind them.

“Young masters!” A familiar voice entered Adrian’s ears as this is the guard that he had when growing up.

“Pyli! Why are you here?” Adrian asked as Pyli returned to being part of the Daemos Corp when Telos received his name.

“We were the first to arrive here to initiate the Dimension Sealing Process for the creation relic. Everything was fine a few hours ago but a being known as the Grave Keeper suddenly showed up and then unleashed an army of undead to this location. The Grave Keeper is even able to summon an undead giant that is currently fighting against the Eden Guardian.

This place is no longer secure, young masters. We need to relocate all of you or make you return to the High Council. It would be better for all of you to escape now or turn around since this place might fall in a few days.” Pyli stated as his team members are actually the two guards that also took care of Boulder and Bloom.

“Unfortunately, the location of the camp might be compromised as they might even be attacked as of this moment. We thought that we would be able to get reinforcements here because we also encountered a very troublesome being.” Adrian stated as the wails of the Corrupted Witch finally reached the ears of Pyli and the other guards.

“Hand over the relic and you shall all be added to my army. I will let your souls be in servitude of me.” The Corrupted Witch stated as she summoned thousands of Twisted Wraiths once again to surround them.

“How did you even know that we have the relic? Too bad for you but what we have is a fake.” Adrian stated.

“A fake?! That cannot be! You even burned all of the energy of your mount to reach this place. If it were a fake then you would not have done so.” The Corrupted Witch stated as even she does not know if what Adrian and his party carries is the real relic.

There have been reports where the relic that they retrieved is fake which made the Corrupted Witch furious. If it is really a fake relic then she burned her soul for nothing and even used up all of the divine energy her patron goddess has given her. She was weakened at this point and cannot fight for long.

“Hand over the fake relic then.” The Corrupted Witch stated as she has actually yet to see the relic but the words of the demigod before her almost made her believe what he said is true.

“Take it then!” Adrian then took out a bracelet and then tossed it towards the Corrupted Witch.

Boulder and Bloom were shocked to see Adrian suddenly giving the bracelet but then they noticed that the actual subspace bracelet was still on the latter’s wrist. The Corrupted Witch received a bracelet with four different elements on them. Before the Corrupted Witch could even ask Adrian what she was given, a smile could be seen on the demigod’s face.

“Summon: Elemental Catastrophe!” Adrian stated as all four elemental kings heeded his call and used four different Mythical Tier elemental spells with different resonance.

The four elements suddenly fused together but cannot hold its shape which resulted in a powerful explosion of elemental energy. The Twisted Wraiths tried to save the Corrupted Witch but they were also caught up in the blast and were purified as a result. The horrible screams of the Corrupted Witch echoed in the area as she is engulfed in four different elements clashing against one another.

“You are still as cunning as always. My heart almost dropped when you suddenly handed her a bracelet.” Bloom stated as Adrian smiled.

“I would never give the actual one but it is a shame that I cannot call forth the Elemental Kings as that is basically a sacrificial elemental spell. In exchange for a powerful elemental spell using all of the elements of the four, I can deliver such a powerful blow against the enemy.” Adrian stated but it is worth it as the Corrupted Witch crashed onto the ground.
