Chapter 2813: The First Summoner

Adrian or rather Telos’ soul suddenly changed to have something called a Soul Chamber. It is not just Telos that has gained this change as beings that had no talent before suddenly got the talent to be a summoner. The ones that thought that they had no power because their bodies cannot expel mana suddenly found themselves a way to do magic.

Adrian’s sudden Law Creation could be detected by his father but he did not check on his surroundings. The thing that he needs to do right now is creating the Seal spell for Vio to become a soulbound. A power never before seen in the world suddenly came out of Adrian’s body as this is his soul trying to communicate with Vio’s weakening soul.

“Seal!” Adrian stated as he released mana for the very first time but it is not like elemental spells.

The mana that Adrian released resonated with the mana of the world and the mana of Vio’s soul. This was the first attempt at using the Seal spell on a living being. Adrian managed to do it earlier by accident or by chance on Soul (the spirit of the forbidden tome) but the latter is not a living being. Vio will really be the first soulbound as long as Vio’s soul will resonate with the magic circle of Telos’ soul.

A fading magic circle could be seen appearing before Telos’ magic circle and this is none other than Vio’s soul magic circle. Adrian did not even need to rush it as he knows that Vio is in a weakened state. A weakened soul can easily be sealed and even easier if the other party could barely regain consciousness. Still, Vio could feel the warm soul that Telos released and instantly surrendered all control to the latter.

Adrian is quite shocked that Vio is not an armored lizard as he thought because he was a drake. The fact that even a monster that has a small amount of dragon blood could be affectionate towards him has Adrian re-evaluating the power of Telos’ charm on monsters. If a monster that has dragon blood could be tamed then Telos has genius level talent when it comes to becoming a summoner.

One would think that a genius summoner is someone that can summon the most powerful beings but that is not the truth. A genius summoner is someone that could calm the hearts and even gain the recognition of other monsters or beings. After all, summoning magic is not like other magic because it requires contracts unlike other magics that just need a magic circle.

Vio’s tired and weary body suddenly became a mist and entered Telos’ body. All of the beings in that room were shocked to see what has just transpired. A living being suddenly became part of another living being but they still are separate entities. The gods of life present were the most shocked as they never seen the soul and body of another being inside of another without harming the host body.

As soon as Vio’s soul entered the soul chamber, Adrian made sure to check if the cute little guy is safe. He could feel that Vio’s soul that was in danger has already started to recover. The summoning magic has truly worked because the damage that was done to Vio is being healed by Adrian’s soul. The life of the precious little monster that grew up with him is now safe and would just need a week at least to recover fully.

“I did it!” Adrian stated as he raised his hand up before instantly fainting.

Adrian’s vision returned but it was mostly of the events that occurred after he fainted. As soon as Telos fainted, he was confined to the infirmary for a week. It seems that a body that is not used to using such powerful magic overheated a bit. This was the first time that Telos actually experienced mana overload as he also became the medium when the laws of the world became rewritten.

While Telos is confined in the infirmary, numerous gods of life and death appeared in the Tower of Babel. It is not just the gods that arrived but also the Asmodians that wanted answers as well. The one that wrote new laws in the world is still unconscious and is a child which is why Arhizo was the one that answered all their questions. In fact, Arhizo did not know much as well and is just stunned that his child was able to do something like that.

All of the beings that interacted with Telos were all called over and were questioned on what the books that he took was. Even the God of Death Orcus was questioned as he was the one that granted access to the forbidden archive. Contrary to their belief that the God of Death Orcus would be a bit mad, he was actually beaming with joy because he could see the new law created by Telos as he is a God of Contracts.

“What can I say? Even I am shocked that the young one was able to do something like that. From what we have been told, the young one managed to create a contract between him and the spirit of the forbidden tome. The forbidden tome in question is something that must have been filled with the power of the Creator as it could create laws.

I always knew that Telos was talented but I did not think that his talent would also be related to things like that. If we base Telos’ predicaments before as a way to distinguish others with talent like him then that would mean that there might be others like him. Others that think that they do not have talent but are in fact just not suitable to the magic system that we currently have.” The God of Death Orcus stated excitedly as he would be able to see new beings able to create contracts with other beings.

“Stop with all the extra information, Orcus. We know that you are excited but we want to know what the young lad created as a law.” The God of Death Abaddon asked.

“He created a new entry on the Law of Souls. The entry states that souls that have great resonance with the world and other souls will have the talent to create contracts to aid and build one another. The host offers protection while the latter will offer loyalty and trust. Together they will be powerful in a bond and be stronger together than apart.” The God of Death Orcus stated.

“That does not help us at all. It would be better for us to wait for the boy to wake up and let him explain his new abilities. If what you said is true then it is not just him that will gain the abilities he awakened as there will be others. The natural law of the world has been rewritten after all.” The Goddess of Life Gaea stated as she moved for this meeting to close.

The next scene that Adrian saw is none other than Telos being questioned by the council of gods and Asmodians. The young Telos could be seen a bit nervous but his father was there to support him. From there, Telos showed them what the abilities that he awakened could do. He showed the gods and the Asmodians what a summoner could really do. He summoned Vio from the depths of his soul chamber which shocked the Gods of Life and Death.

The gods of life and death were shocked because Vio did not seem like an illusion or a spiritual entity. They were even more shocked when Vio came out of Adrian’s soul as a spiritual entity but manifested with a living physical body. This is something that defied common sense for even the gods of life and death. Beings that have become souls should not have physical bodies if they are absorbed into another.

“Amazing! All of it was done via a contract!” The God of Death Orcus stated with his eyes shining so bright which is different from his usual downcast and tired demeanor.

“You have unlocked this talent called Summoner, young one. Tell me, did you also make it so that others that have the same constitution as you would be blessed by this talent as well?” The Goddess of Life Gaea asked calmly.

“Soul… I mean the spirit of the forbidden tome told me that this was the effect of me creating the spell called Summon and Seal. The real cause should be that these two spells are something that has never existed before and that the world needed a way to justify it.” Telos replied as even he did not know why the world suddenly has a new law all of a sudden.
