Chapter 2764: Ragnarok II

The Fomorian that asked for the soul of the World Serpent Jormungandr sat in a cross-legged position as she once again inserted the soul of the deceased snake into its body. The large body of the World Serpent Jormungandr started to move once again but this is merely reanimation. It is just another form of necromancy which means that the strength of the World Serpent Jormungandr is effectively only about 60% to 70%.

“I am sorry you need to fight again, my child. No worries because I shall find a way to revive you to a real living body. Fortunately, we have reunited with your other sibling here.” The God of Mischief Loki stated as Sleipnir appeared next to him.

“Surrender now trickster and the other Asgardians might be spared. At least those that only followed the orders of your god king.” The Goddess of Justice Nemesis declared.

“Why would I surrender when I have the strongest army in the world? Even with your forces and the demons, do you think that you can defeat me?” The God of Mischief Loki stated which made the God of War Ares and the Goddess of Justice Nemesis think that something is odd with the trickster before them.

Some can say that the God of Mischief Loki is bluffing his way but such bluff sometimes stems from confidence. There were no changes in the God of Mischief Loki’s aura when he declared that they will win. It is like the God of Mischief Loki does have something that can turn the tides against them.

“Such foolish confidence! KILL THEM!” The God of War Ares shouted as he charged towards the battlefield with the northern armies that have gathered.

“Be careful, Ares.” The Goddess of Justice Nemesis stated.

“You worry too much, Auntie.” The God of War Ares replied.

“God King Loki, we will truly perish if this is our only army.” Hou Yiwei declared which made the God of Mischief Loki look at him with favorability as the words that came out of his mouth resonated beautifully in the ears of the latter.

“Oh! You seem to have fused with a god soul. You are not lesser than a god which means you have the qualifications to speak. You have uplifted my mood which is why I will not kill you here. What is your name?” The God of Mischief Loki stated.

“I am Hou Yiwei. The Godly Archer Warsoul!” Hou Yiwei declared as he actually advanced his class and also became a Godsoul which are basically incarnations of gods. The only downside for Hou Yiwei is that he is currently not strong at the moment as he just recently became one. He is still in a weakened state but wanted to test his new abilities which is why he accepted the quests from the Asuras.

“Fomorians, heal our army.” The God of Mischief Loki stated and the Fomorians agreed since they will also need numbers.

“Our numbers are not yet enough They have demigods in their side as well. We cannot escape here unscathed.” One of the Asuras stated.

“Escape? Who said that we will be escaping?” The God of Mischief Loki asked in a rhetorical manner.

“I thought that you would lead us to a Bifrost and escape. There should still be a secret one hidden under the destroyed castle.” One of the Asuras pointed out.

“Bifrosts are no longer an option now that Odin has died. All of the Bifrosts are connected to him to some extent and would need to be activated by my own divine energy to work again. We will not be escaping because we will kill all of them here.” The God of Mischief Loki stated which made the Fomorians and the Asuras think that he has lost his mind. They even thought that signs of madness might have already started for him.

“I have already prepared for everything. The soul of my son is not the only thing that I managed to snatch in Tartarus.” The God of Mischief Loki stated as he took out an odd rock that is black in color with golden grains etched in it.

To the eyes of those that have never seen one, the stone that the God of Mischief Loki has taken is nothing more than a beautiful and strange stone. To those that know of what this rock really is, the feeling of oppression and fear have started to well up inside of them. The Fomorians and the Asuras trembled when they saw what the God of Mischief Loki had because they know what it is.

“That stone! Ares, all of you retreat!” The Goddess of Justice Nemesis shouted as she knows that that is as well.

“All of you have forced me to use this. I would have not even bothered to use it but even those demons are joining this fight.” The God of Mischief Loki stated as he absorbed the rock into his body which shocked all of the gods present.

The God of Mischief Loki suddenly released a powerful shockwave that sent all of his enemies flying away. Even the Daemos Elders that were busy fixing the rift had to stop because of the energy being emitted by the God of Mischief Loki. It is an aura that has been forgotten even by the gods because it is the aura of the ones that enslaved them in the era of old gods.

When the shockwave dissipated, the God of Mischief Loki is no more. In his place is none other than the transformed Loki. He is no longer a god and even transcended into a higher existence. An existence that even the gods are afraid of and once enslaved them. The God of Mischief Loki has turned into a Titan.
