Chapter 2690: Fallen God Chiyou IV

The sudden appearance of the White Tiger of the West shocked everyone but Tai’s eyes screamed for the death of his teacher. Fortunately for Tai, the White Tiger of the West could not kill the Fallen God Chiyou despite being bitten horribly. Tai immediately used all remaining energy in his body and transferred it to his oni club. The power behind his weapon grew fiercer as anger and rage is also mixed in it.

“Release me, feral cat! You will be caught up in that as well!” The Fallen God Chiyou shouted as he tried to wiggle away from the jaws of the White Tiger of the West.

“Do you think I am scared of a soul weapon from an oni like you? This is just your karma catching up to you, Chiyou. This is not the first time that you tricked young talents into becoming your new vessel. Let this one kill you to settle all the grudges of the previous ones that you have wronged.” The White Tiger of the West sent to the Fallen God Chiyou telepathically as Tai descended from the skies with his oni club in full power.

“YOU DERANGED CAT!” The Fallen God Chiyou shouted as Tai’s oni club smashed his face and continued on until it reached the ground.

[The Fallen God Chiyou has been killed.]

A notification popped up for all the ones that contributed to the battle. Kabrakan and the others were standing by earlier just in case something unexpected happened. Fortunately for them, the fangs of the White Tiger of the West did not let the Fallen God Chiyou escape and it also heavily injured the enemy in the process. What they did not expect is that Tai’s attack is so powerful that it carved out a large crater and the Fallen God Chiyou’s body being reduced to dust.

“Did he also harm the White Tiger of the West?” Arsenal asked as he was unable to see clearly.

“Did you think that would harm me?” The White Tiger of the West stated as its body suddenly emerged from the ground and is now before Tai.

Tai suddenly became a bit wary as the White Tiger of the West is radiating some killing intent towards him. He believed that the White Tiger of the West would also want revenge against him as he was there when it was killed. Tai is even thinking of returning his armguards just as long as Vixen and Tama are unharmed because his friends were ready to support him should another fight commence.

“Consider this as me forgiving you for what you have done to me. You managed to perform satisfactorily that I am now thinking of sparing you.” The White Tiger of the West stated.

“If that is the case then please receive these as a way of our atonement.” Tai stated as he started to take off his armguards as it is made of the fangs of the White Tiger of the West.

“Keep it, young oni. It will be a symbol of how you showed your strength towards me. Your atonement is to use it in every fight that you do. I always liked warriors that have very tough bodies. Consider that as me forgiving all of you.” The White Tiger of the West stated as it turned its back and continued fighting against the other fallen gods.

“It seems you were acknowledged.” Kabrakan stated but Vixen and Tama were wary of him.

“Calm down. We are not here to fight but if you three want to then we will make sure to do so.” Apolaki stated.

“You know. They are a really good fit for our guild though.” Arsenal stated but Silent Ghost looked like he wanted to shoot the former for saying such things.

“We are not interested. We merely came here to exact revenge on those that used us. We would have killed Izanagi and Izanami but it seems they were already killed before we arrived.” Vixen stated.

“If it is not much then we would like your aid in defeating the rest of the fallen gods.” Kabrakan stated which shocked Silent Ghost.

“Even if you guys did not invite us, we would still do such a thing. It is not just them that used us but the entire Kami organization. We were already set on killing all of them today.” Tama replied.

“As long as we do not get in each other’s way then we will have no problem. Come, both of you. We still have others to hunt down.” Tai stated as the three of them charged towards the battle leaving Kabrakan and the others.

“They could have just said that they will like the invitation. They did not need to be coy about it.” Arsenal commented.

“You cannot expect enemies suddenly becoming very gentle against us when we destroyed their organization.” Apolaki pointed out.

“Anyways, we should also get healed. We cannot fight in our current state if our bodies are either missing a limb or breaking down.” Kabrakan stated as their group rushed towards Anastacia’s location.

The Fallen God Chiyou ended up in his soul state just like the others. Unfortunately for him, his soul is not in the best state as it got hit by Tai’s oni club that deals direct damage to the soul. One could see that he is paler and looked like he is about be dispersed. Still, the will to live was strong for the Fallen God Chiyou and he could still get energy from the area as war is still raging on.

“That was a splendid performance.” King Yama stated which made the soul of the Fallen God Chiyou flinch as he knows the owner of that voice.

Unlike the other three that tried to escape, the soul of the Fallen God Chiyou actually attacked King Yama out of reflex. The attack did nothing to King Yama though as no soul could harm a god of death and even a god’s soul is no exception.

“May you rest in peace.” King Yama stated as he summoned flaming hands once again as it dragged the soul of the Fallen God Chiyou in the underworld.
