Chapter 2671: Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong II

“I perfectly hit the mark but it seems that it did not deal that much damage.” Silent Ghost explained to the murky and cute blob that is on his left shoulder.

“The good thing is that it pierced the shield but it seems that the amount of nether energy is not enough to deal significant damage to it. It is still in a tranced state even though it revealed its true body.” Adrian stated as he is now the murky and cute blob on the left shoulder of Silent Ghost.

Adrian did not die earlier when he also made his entire body explode. The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong believed that it had successfully killed off Adrian earlier but he actually split a small part of himself in the process. Unlike what others believe, Dodu does not have a hive mind where the entire hive falls if the main one dies. Dodu has the ability to split into smaller entities and each of these entities are Dodu itself.

Each split entity can be autonomous and can also become the main mind due to this special interaction. The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong did not notice that a small blob dropped to the ground and hid inside a crack on the ground. Adrian immediately called upon Silent Ghost to extract the small blob from the area using his ability to be undetected. In the end, the body that exploded became a secondary body and the one where Adrian retains most of his control is now transferred to the small blob version.

The only problem is that the health that Adrian has is currently only 20% of his original health. The body parts that should have returned to him earlier were now gone as it exploded earlier. He cannot cancel the transformation because of the special circumstance. He needed to wait a few more minutes before he returns to his original form.

Adrian did not know if it was luck but Levin Cloud informed him that he has gained control of the ley lines and blocked access to the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong. This prompted their current enemy to enter a trance like state which ignored those that were below the ground. The only problem is that all of them on the ground are now exhausted. The only one that could truly attack are Silent Ghost and Ain but even the latter is almost about to be exhausted.

This prompted Adrian to trust Silent Ghost and his amazing sniping skills. He made sure that he also supported Silent Ghost with what is left in his abilities. Adrian coated the bullets with nether energy to enable it to penetrate the divine body of the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong. Ordinary bullets with enchanted mana will not be able to defeat the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong after all.

“I think we succeeded but we also angered it in the process.” Silent Ghost stated as he could feel the stare of the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong.

The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong that was not moving suddenly looked at the direction of Silent Ghost. The fact that the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong could see Silent Ghost clearly meant that something has indeed changed. The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong should not have been able to see him as he is in a state of Ghost Walking.

“I finally found the rat that always evades my senses!” The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong stated as it could now trace the energy back to Silent Ghost.

“Can it really see me or us, guild leader?” Silent Ghost asked as this was the worst situation possible for him.

Silent Ghost is actually not a fast player as he only has moderate speed. He often relies on the Ghost Walking skill to evade attacks but this skill has a weakness. If the enemy is aware and could see your presence perfectly then they will be able to invalidate the effects of the skill. In other words, all attacks against Silent Ghost will hit him regardless if he has Ghost Walking activated.

The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong opened its mouth as it released a breath attack directly towards Silent Ghost. They could evade but the area affected was so large that they will have no time to escape. Silent Ghost looked at Adrian to see if his guild master has a way to save both of them.

“Do you have a self-revival skill or something that grants you invincibility?” Adrian asked.

“I already used it earlier.” Silent Ghost stated.

“Do not worry.” Adrian stated.

“Are you able to teleport us away?” Silent Ghost asked as he actually becomes a chatterbox if he knows he is about to die.

“Nope. I will revive you when both of us die. I can still revive.” Adrian replied while making a small thumbs up.

“Sometimes it is difficult to trust you, guild leader.” Silent Ghost stated as he accepted his fate of dying from the large draconic beam of energy aimed at them.

Just as the dragon breath was about to reach them, Ain suddenly appeared before them. All nine of his aura fox tails moved in a majestic motion as he moved in graceful manner. The calm aura around Ain suddenly became solid and fierce contrary to the calm and flowing manner it was earlier. The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong noticed this but it believed that even a Divine Martial Sage will not be able to take on its breath attack while it is in its true form.

The powerful dragon breath that destroyed even the air itself reached Ain. The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong believed that everything its breath touches will deteriorate and be destroyed but Ain suddenly made his stance heavy and stiff. Ain then pushed both of his palms in front after performing a dance like martial art. All of the aura in Ain’s body suddenly created a powerful barrier that actually stopped the dragon breath or rather prevented it from reaching Adrian and Silent Ghost.

The dragon breath was not perfectly blocked as it split into two parts instead. The areas around Adrian and Silent Ghost were destroyed as Ain’s protective art defended them. Ain then looked fierce as the sound of a bell echoed in the area. A silhouette of a fox appeared near Ain as he then proceeded to move once more.

Ain proceeded to move in a stiff yet graceful manner as the aura that protected them started to twist. The aura did not just twist the area around Ain but it actually started to twist the very attack of the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong. Ain’s calm face looked like he was struggling but his determination did not stop him from doing what he must.

Ain slammed his fist into the ground before transitioning into a somersault. When he landed, Ain then proceeded to twist his entire body with his arms forming wide arches. He then pointed both of his palms towards the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong which also made the most impact to the battle as of now.

The unbending dragon breath of the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong suddenly twisted along with Ain’s movements. With Ain’s final motion, the dragon breath that is just a straight beam suddenly spiraled and is then redirected towards the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong. Even the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong is shocked because the returned attack was double the power of what it used against its enemies.

While the breath attack of the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong is in a straight line, the redirected beam by Ain is in a spiral that snaked its way towards the enemy. The sudden transition was so quick that even the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong could not react it time. The dragon breath that is the signature attack of all draconic beings that should be the pinnacle of their power is what actually brought the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong crashing down.

A piercing cry echoed in the sky before the large body of the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong crashed to the ground. Ain smiled as his entire body became numb as he dropped to the ground. Redirecting an attack that could easily kill you is not something that can be achieved by one person but Ain managed to make it happen.

“We are saved.” Silent Ghost stated as Adrian plopped to the ground to check on Ain’s condition.

“We might have survived this attack but the enemy is not defeated yet. Take Ain back to Anastacia for healing.” Adrian stated.

Silent Ghost was about to say something but a powerful pressure suddenly exploded from the area where the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong. Their enemy is now in full rage mode because of what happened and is no longer thinking of saving its divine energy. The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong rose back to the skies with its aura twisting the very mana in the air as it took out a pouch.

“DESTROY EVERYTHING IN SIGHT!” The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong shouted as it tore apart the soul pouch it uses to store all of the souls of the fallen gods of the eastern continent.
