Chapter 2665: The Golden Palace of the East III

As soon as the Corrupted Yellow Emperor crashed down towards its own palace, all of the sand soldiers suddenly turned towards the group. It seems that the Corrupted Yellow Emperor has upgraded them all or at least partially into draconic sand soldiers. Dragon wings suddenly sprouted from behind them and they all flew towards the direction of the group.

“I guess that is our signal.” Mariposa stated as she immediately summoned her army of bees.

Some of the players that could not fly were escorted by a soldier bee while those that could immediately charged towards the enemies. Seeing the minions of the Corrupted Yellow Emperor being taken care off by the others, the guild leaders immediately pursued the boss. Adrian instantly teleported the four of them closer to the Golden Palace. He would have teleported them directly into it but the energy fluctuations inside were too erratic that it made the space unstable.

They searched through the smoke to find the Corrupted Yellow Emperor but they cannot find the enemy. Adrian could not sense the Corrupted Yellow Emperor because the entire palace radiated his aura. It is incredibly difficult to spot the Corrupted Yellow Emperor inside its own domain as one could say. Still, the Corrupted Yellow Emperor is not one to hide because it already attacked immediately once it recovered from the fall.

A giant golden dragon claw suddenly extended from the dust and rubble. The golden dragon claw tried to grasp at the biggest one of them which is Siegfried but Ain suddenly got in between. Ain moved like graceful water and used the force of the golden dragon claw against itself. The claw that attempted to grab for Siegfried suddenly got deflected and crashed to one of the walls of the palace.

“You dare wreck my own palace!” The Corrupted Yellow Emperor shouted as his own energy surged.

The Corrupted Yellow Emperor floated and they could clearly see that its right arm no longer looks human as it is an enlarged golden dragon claw. The Corrupted Yellow Emperor could actually freely change the nature of its body from humanoid to monster with ease. The only signs of it using its ability are having dark golden eyes and a dark gold aura around its body.

“You wrecked it yourself. I merely deflected it the other way around.” Ain teased but even he could feel the backlash from that attack.

The force of that attack actually exceeded what Ain could deflect but he pushed through with more aura than usual. One could see that his left arm has a deep bruise that resulted in the interaction earlier. He is actually lucky that his arm did not completely break as it would have if Adrian did not support him with his Aether Energy. He was healed by Anastacia which instantly fixed his bruised arm.

“I think we need a more proactive approach. No holding back because I will support all of you. Still, do not be reckless.” Anastacia stated.

“If that is your wish.” Siegfried stated as his body suddenly erupted in flames and his armor started to turn into lava. Adrian found Siegfried’s aura in this form quite interesting as it reminds him of another being although the similarity is minimal.

“Since the old man is serious, I should be serious as well.” Ain stated as his playful and mischievous smile suddenly turned cold and serious as all of his aura suddenly became transparent.

“If all of you are going all in then I must not disappoint. Nether Domain!” Adrian added with a smile as he actually forgot that this battle is something that could decide the fate of the eastern continent. His own trait that craves for battle surfaced for a moment before he controlled it.

Adrian’s real form appeared which made the Corrupted Yellow Emperor actually take a step back. A being made of energy that could kill even gods. The Corrupted Yellow Emperor always found the demon unsettling because of the energy it gives off but it never thought that it would be to this degree. The Corrupted Yellow Emperor even thought that the current gods have lost their mind letting a being like this roam the world without any restraints.

“How do you possess the energy of the world’s creation?!” The Corrupted Yellow Emperor shouted at Adrian.

“Why should I answer to a being that will die anyways?” Adrian stated as he summoned all of his soulbounds in their Nether Forms.

The first one that came out was none other than Sirius which lunged at the Corrupted Yellow Emperor with his speed. Sirius is incredibly quick to the point that even the Corrupted Yellow Emperor felt it difficult to detect. The only way the Corrupted Yellow Emperor could detect Sirius was due to the fact that they are inside his palace grounds.

The Corrupted Yellow Emperor then used the materials of its own palace as it conjured up arms from the walls and floors. Sirius might be quick but the Corrupted Yellow Emperor has full mastery of everything in the area. The Corrupted Yellow Emperor managed to catch Sirius by the snout and legs which actually surprised Adrian as this is shocking for him. Sirius might be blocked but he was never caught this easily before.

Fortunately for Sirius, Kimat is the next one that appeared and struck like lightning. All of the golden arms that grabbed Sirius were destroyed as both of them maintained distance. The third one that came out is Kanlaon with his mouth already charging up the dragon breath. A golden dragon breath blasted out of the magic circle along with Kanlaon’s body.

Sensing the presence of another dragon’s attack, the Corrupted Yellow Emperor responded by releasing its own dragon breath that is dark gold in color. Both of the dragon breaths were equal at first but Kanlaon is the first to lose as the Corrupted Yellow Emperor is stronger than him. Kanlaon got knocked back by the recoil of the colliding dragon breath but Saena came out to heal those that were injured.

“Is that all that you got?” The Corrupted Yellow Emperor stated with a smug face.

“That is just the introduction.” Adrian’s dark raspy voice in this mode echoed in the domain as chains made of nether energy suddenly manifested all around the Corrupted Yellow Emperor.

All of the chains lunged towards the Corrupted Yellow Emperor in an attempt to affix themselves onto the soul of the enemy. The Corrupted Yellow Emperor is not simple though as its own soul actually held a separate barrier that protected it from spiritual attacks. This meant that Charon cannot siphon health and mana from the enemy unless the Corrupted Yellow Emperor soul weakens.

Since the spiritual chains could not attach themselves to the soul of the Corrupted Yellow Emperor, Charon switched to more physical chains that drain the energy per hit. The chains that gleamed with death and nether energy took on physical form to lash themselves at the Corrupted Yellow Emperor. One would think that at least one of the thousands created would deal damage but all of them turned to dust when it hit the barrier of the Corrupted Yellow Emperor.

“I have the power of my entire domain in me. Do you think that you could defeat me inside my own domain?” The Corrupted Yellow Emperor stated as the Golden Palace is its physical divine realm.

“I see. So, we just need to destroy your palace for you to weaken.” Siegfried’s voice echoed as his entire body cool.

Siegfried is now decked out in armor that is like molten lava while his axe glowed in the same color scheme. His axe even dripped lava which melted the ground with each drop. It looked like he was a living volcano that took shape and form.

“I will destroy the palace. Just make sure that I do not get interrupted.” Siegfried stated with an assured smile as his body started to quake.

“Do you think that I will let you!” The Corrupted Yellow Emperor shouted as he created golden sand hands all around to target Siegfried.

“Your wish is my command, old man.” Adrian stated as he appeared in a state that no one has seen before.

A large fluid creature that has the colors of nether energy and a silver sheen suddenly manifested near Siegfried. Adrian actually fused with Dodu for this one and used the beast form. If one were to look at Adrian and Dodu fused together then they might describe them as a cosmic horror monster. He looked like a galactic slime covered with demon horns that glowed in an eerie purple light.

Adrian’s large body formed a barrier around Siegfried and defended him from the attacks of the Corrupted Yellow Emperor. All the golden sand hands that met Adrian’s transformed body melted in an instant. His body is hyper corrosive which is the result of the fusion of their transformed bodies.
