Chapter 2650: Four Cardinal Divine Beast Revival II

The four cores of the divine beasts eagerly devoured the harmonized elemental energy that is collected in the area. The elemental energy that was harmonized did not just span the area where the Dragon Lake Palace is located but everything around it in a five-hundred-kilometer radius. There are even visible signs of the world losing some of its life as the elemental energy is being directed to the four cores of the divine beasts.

The movement of elemental energy became apparent to the Corrupted Yellow Emperor as it was another phenomenon that stacked up to the phenomena that summoned the death energy. The soldiers that the Corrupted Yellow Emperor sent to the area were all losing their vessels as the souls are returning to it. Seeing that there is an anomaly that might threaten its sovereignty, the Corrupted Yellow Emperor knew that it must take action.

The Corrupted Yellow Emperor sliced through the space once again and created a rift that connected to the skies above the Dragon Lake Palace. The only problem is that the sudden creation of the rift also created a powerful explosion that blew apart the forces that it had in the skies. The draconic sand soldiers that were close to the rift or in the direct like of it were all destroyed as soon as it opened.

The Corrupted Yellow Emperor did not care though as it could just create more of them. The rift that the Corrupted Yellow Emperor opened was not big enough for his transformed self to enter but it was enough for his head to pass through. The Corrupted Yellow Emperor saw that Grand Master Fu Xi and Grand Mistress Nu Wa were fighting against the draconic sand soldiers which is why there is no advance in its forces.

“To think that you two are once again in my way! Then again, I did not come here for the both of you.” The Corrupted Yellow Emperor stated as its gazed fixed upon the dimension hidden inside the body of water.

The Corrupted Yellow Emperor could see the hidden dimension of the Dragon Lake Palace and could feel the powerful swirl of energy getting swallowed inside of it. Seeing that the source of the phenomenon is hidden in that dimension, the Corrupted Yellow Emperor opened its jaws wide as a dark golden light gathered in its throat. Grand Master Fu Xi and Grand Mistress Nu Wa immediately had their instincts for danger flare up.

The Corrupted Yellow Emperor did not care for the others that are going to be hit by its breath. Be it servant or foe, the Corrupted Yellow Emperor will destroy the threat that it has felt hidden in the dimension of water. A powerful golden dragon breath is fired by the Corrupted Yellow Emperor, and it was directly targeting the area where the Dragon Lake Palace is located.

“Fu Xi!” Grand Mistress Nu Wa shouted as this was a threat that they cannot ignore.

“Together!” Grand Master Fu Xi replied in a shout.

Grand Master Fu Xi and Grand Mistress Nu Wa suddenly shed their humanoid forms and transformed into Ryujin. Both of them flew in the skies with their serpentine forms that had white scales. The two of them then converged their power in one area and released their combined dragon breath to combat the dragon breath released by the Corrupted Yellow Emperor.

The dragon breath released by the grandmasters had a pure white color that resembled their pure intentions to protect. The two dragon beams collided against one another which created powerful shockwaves every second that they are colliding. The dragon breath of the Corrupted Yellow Emperor was far more powerful than the combined dragon breath of the grandmasters though. The dragon breaths that started in equal distance suddenly started to shift in the favor of the Corrupted Yellow Emperor.

Just as the two grandmasters were about to be overpowered, a pink scaled Ryujin suddenly appeared below the two and fired off her own dragon breath. The combined might of the three Ryujin was now enough to stop the advancement of the dragon breath released by the Corrupted Yellow Emperor. It was thanks to Peridot that the Dragon Lake Palace is not yet destroyed by the dragon breath of the Corrupted Yellow Emperor.

“We cannot hold on forever.” Grand Master Fu Xi telepathically messaged the other two.

“We must persist, husband. If not, the entire Dragon Laka Palace will turn into ruins.” Grand Mistress Nu Wa replied.

“I can help you ease the burden, but it is also taking much for me to keep this stalemate.” Peridot stated.

“If we can no longer hold on using our breath attack then we shall immediately create a barrier strong enough to at least repel the Corrupted Yellow Emperor’s dragon breath.” Grand Master Fu Xi stated as this would be the most optimal defense plan.

If they cannot hold using their dragon breaths, then they will create a barrier tied to their life force that can protect the entirety of the Dragon Lake Palace. The savageness of the breath attack of the Corrupted Yellow Emperor will definitely break their barrier and make them receive backlash but that will protect the Dragon Lake Palace. The important thing is that the ceremony must finish as the Corrupted Yellow Emperor will not move personally if it did not feel threatened.

“Andromeda!”

A shining arrow that contained the power of a galaxy suddenly flew pass the three Ryujin and it headed directly towards the eye of the Corrupted Yellow Emperor. The arrow did not reach the Corrupted Yellow Emperor as there was a barrier around it. The arrow is just stuck in the air as it was held by the barrier but that was not the only attack.

“Meteor Star!

Another arrow that is not as powerful as the last followed but this one was fast. The Corrupted Yellow Emperor did not care though as it has confidence it its barrier. The arrow was not even powerful but that was its mistake.
