Chapter 2531: Tracking the Last Blood Queen I

The Blood Prison started to crumble as all of it suddenly coalesced into the relic held by Solstice. The relic that can create the Blood Prison is a crimson key with fangs. It is one of the treasured relics of the Edelblud family that Solstice swiped before taking on the Crazed Blood Queen Bathory.

Solstice knew that she needed a way to make sure that the Crazed Blood Queen Bathory did not escape. One of the previous blood queens she killed managed to escape the first encounter which led to a lot of people helping with the search. Fortunately, the Blood Prison is the answer to her questions, but she also realized the danger of being trapped inside.

“The Blood Prison is a good way to trap them but there is also a problem. I am not strong enough to contend with a blood queen by myself. The Crazed Blood Queen Bathory proved that the previous blood queens were merely weaker. They also have yet to recover their real power, but the Crazed Blood Queen Akasha is different.

The Crazed Blood Queen Akasha is the most powerful of all the crazed blood queens. They are basically just pawns to her as she did not even personally move when I killed some of them. She also awakened first among them which means that she must have regained all of her strength back.” Solstice thought as all of the Blood Prison finally returned to the relic and they were back in the sewers.

“You are back!” The Young Prince Alucred stated as he was riding on Sirius’ back.

“Where is my brother?” Solstice asked as she could not detect Adrian anywhere.

“I am here the whole time, sister.” Adrian stated with a smile as he was behind Solstice and Lycan. Lycan even got shocked as he did not even detect Adrian at all.

“Do not lie to me, little brother. You just popped out just now. I can detect blood from living beings much clearly now. Before, you were barely detectable because the gap between us was huge but now I can detect you clearly.” Solstice stated which Adrian only responded with a nervous laugh.

“I was here the whole time though. Hehe…” Adrian stated as he called upon Sirius to rest in his shadow once again.

“Since we have finished what we needed to do here, I guess the only thing left to do is to return the kid. Then again, I guess we do not need to do that anymore because I can already hear them coming.” Lycan stated as all of them looked at the large entrance that leads to their current place.

“Hurry! The prince is located there!” Voices from several knights stated as they swarmed the place where Adrian and the others are.

The knights were not lost in the maze as they have the map of the area. It is one of the classified documents that only the king could see which also means that the king is there with them. The King of Argento was leading the search for his son which actually made Lycan a bit nervous as he heard the words king when the knights were talking.

“Halt! Identify yourselves!” The Knight Commander stated as he held up a lamp that made the dimly lit room become filled with light.

“It is the prince!” One of the knights pointed out as the Young Prince Alucred could be seen next to three unknown beings.

“Good day, gentlemen and to the King of Argento as well. I am, Equinox. Champion of the Twin Gods.” Adrian stated as he announced his presence.

The knights that were about to brandish their swords on the three suddenly got interrupted by the King of Argento. The King of Argento might not have personally witnessed Adrian in the flesh, but he has seen him in holographic messages. The Argento Kingdom is still part of the central continent council after all.

“Greetings, Champion Equinox. The King of Argento gives his greetings.” The King of Argento greeted in return.

“Well, brat? Are you not going to your father? Your little escapade should have ended now, and I believe that you are in good hands.” Adrian stated as he looked at the Young Prince Alucred.

“Awww! I wanted to explore more.” The Young Prince Alucred stated but he willingly went towards his father.

“I would want to ask how it happened, but I have already read the contents of the message that my son has written. I am just thankful that he encountered Champion Equinox instead of the vampires.” The King of Argento stated.

“Well, I guess it might also be destiny that brought him to me as I was actually quite lost in these complicated tunnels. Your son is exceptional in ’navigating’, and he has been such a great help, but we must bid farewell. Also, it is best to say that you only encountered me in the area as my two companions have complicated backgrounds after all. I need a part to give a parting gift since your son has helped us after all. Saena!” Adrian replied.

Adrian summoned Saena and she suddenly released a powerful burst of light that healed everyone and released them from whatever status ailment that they have. As soon as Saena released the light, about a quarter of the knights that followed the king suddenly fainted. This alarmed the knight commander, but he did not make any hasty movements since the king was silent.

“Oh! I did not think that such a number was gathered.” Adrian stated with a hint of shock.

“Can you please explain to me what is happening, champion?” The King of Argento asked.

“I just cured them of what is affecting them. They were bewitched by a very tricky monster that attacked you recently.” Adrian stated which made the aura of the King of Argento flare up because the latter knew which monster the former was talking about.

“I thought I already purged those that she tainted but it seems that we still lacked a bit.” The King of Argento stated.
