“This is not your power.” Adrian stated as he looked at the Frost High Elf Mage.

“This is now my power! I have plundered this from the Winter Tree itself! I control the beautiful domain that could freeze anyone to death!” The Frost High Elf Mage exclaimed as this was the power that she wanted to get from the Winter Tree.

“Beautiful as it might be, but it is incomplete because the one that casted it is not with authority and power.” Adrian plainly stated which made the Frost High Elf Mage look at him with contempt because he already saw through it.

Adrian would have been afraid if the domain skill was complete, but this one is not. This domain was cast not by the Frost High Elf Mage but by the staff that she uses. It is not a domain that is used by a being that has divine energy in their body because the Frost High Elf Mage does not have any in her. The only traces of divine energy that Adrian can feel is from the staff that she carries.

“This is my power now! The Winter Tree is dead and so will you! Blizzard!” The Frost High Elf Mage shouted in fury as a large magic circle was created in the entire area.

The magic circle was instantly created and even covered the location where his friends were. The Frost High Elf Mage believed that the demon would prioritize defending his friends as they were still busy thawing the ice on the gate, but he did not. She saw the demon look at the Aurora Borealis, but she was mistaken as the demon was looking at the dark clouds above.

“Kimat, destroy it.” Adrian commanded as a powerful roar in the sound of thunder echoed in the entire area.

The magic circle to create the Blizzard spell suddenly shattered as lightning precisely destroyed it. The Frost High Elf Mage suddenly felt the backlash from her spell not activating due to mana surge. The Frost High Elf Mage then looked up in horror as a large tiger with three heads looked down on her.

“Impossible!” The Frost High Elf Mage shouted as Kimat did something that the former thought.

Kimat used all of his energy and destroyed the Aurora Borealis. All three of his heads suddenly released a powerful blast of lightning to destroy the domain that the staff created. Naturally, the Frost High Elf Mage did not feel this backlash as she was not the one that truly summoned the domain.

Kimat ruthlessly tore apart the Aurora Borealis using his innate energy. The domain that the Frost High Elf Mage is so proud of shattered in an instant. Beautiful dancing lights replaced by the looming dark clouds that accompanied Kimat in the skies.

The precious staff that she cherished to the point that she worshipped it suddenly started to vibrate. The Frost High Elf Mage could feel it as she even connected some of her life force to bond with the staff. The immense backlash of the early destruction of domain finally made the staff unable to function properly. The staff that was made from the body of the Winter Tree shattered into pieces with the Frost High Elf Mage in great shock.

“No!” The Frost High Elf Mage shouted in horror as her prized staff was destroyed just like that.

[Your soulbound, Kimat, has exhausted all of his energy. He will be sent back to the Soul Chamber for rest. You cannot summon him for the next two hours.]

“I guess destroying a domain really does take a toll on you. Even I did not think that such a thing was possible, but Kimat’s innate energy makes it possible.” Adrian mumbled as he looked at the pathetic sight of the Frost High Elf Mage.

“I guess I should finish her off then.” Adrian stated as he released another empowered arrow towards her, but it bounced back due to the clear ice barrier.

The Frost High Elf Mage could be seen clutching the fragments of her staff. Her mana is also going all over the place as if she lost control of it, but the real reason is due to her losing her mind. The Frost High Elf Mage could be seen laughing maniacally while trying to piece together the broken staff. She tried her best to bring it back together, but she could not do it even if she freezes the parts together.

The staff of the Frost High Elf Mage was not just destroyed by the backlash of having its domain destroyed but also the innate energy of Kimat that destroys all things. It can never be restored back to its previous state which is why Adrian rarely lets Kimat use it unless necessary and knows that no one else would be affected. Tears could be seen going down the face of the Frost High Elf Mage as she slowly descended to delusion and madness.

“This cannot be! This should not be happening! That was supposed to be my power! You cannot be destroyed just like that!” The Frost High Elf Mage as it seems that she connected part of her brain to the staff itself.

When the staff broke, part of the Frost High Elf Mage’s mind broke with it. This was not something that just happened, but it happened due to consequences. Seeing a deranged being that could no longer fight, Adrian wanted to put her out of her misery but she suddenly did something that even he did not expect.
